DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I got my front and rear brakes replaced here and my brakes continued to squeak. I brought it back a few times and they would say my brakes were dry and clean them up but the problem never resolved. After taking my car to another shop, they revealed that the parts didn't even have a brand on them (VERY cheap) and although I was told they replaced my rear rotors, they did not. I now have to pay $2k to get them fixed correctly when I paid $1400 at this shop. A complete waste of money and time. read more

Pls save yourself time and avoid this place at all costs. Showed up this morning to have front brakes and rotors replaced. Some guy with Aldo path on shirt drives up with client. I wait for 10 mins while he finishes another vehicle. This guy asked me for change and I stupidly give him $25 and he says he'll knock off labor costs. He's starts working on my brakes and attempts to take off a t45 screw that's on the rotor. He strips it on first try. FML. I tell him to just leave it now worries. The guy goes to town on the screw and obliterates the face. FML. Send some to some random place 30mins away. Guy working in it tell me my lug nuts were loose. FML. Finally takes off screw 10 mins later. Charges $60. I'm out $85 and no new brakes yet. AVOID THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! read more

5 STARS - Needed new rear rotors and brakes for my Range Rover Evoque (2015) and Dale/Alanzo not only quoted me a great price (better than the 7 others I called) they could also take me quickly. Service was in and out in 2.5 hours - fast and they dealt with the finiky Range Rover brake sensors as well. Excellent work, service and very friendly. Shop is simple, work is exceptional. Needed my brakes fixed last minute and called for a quote on a Saturday morning. I was given an estimate but I was told to come down to confirm what my car needed. Upon arriving I was immediately helped out by Dale whom I spoke with on the phone and he immediately had his technician take a look at my brakes. Keep in mind this was a last minute appointment and they were still able to give me the attention to my car start immediately. I initially thought it was my front brakes that needed repair as there was a grinding noise coming from there. The tech took a look at the thickness of the brake pads left and didn't see an issue with the front. He took it for a test drive around the corner to confirm the grinding. He popped off the wheels and took apart the brake to see what was causing it. Instead of misleading me and making up some bogus "repairs" like some shady shops would do, Dale explained to me what was wrong with it and had his tech fix it without requiring replacement parts. A+ for the honesty. Besides that, the rear brakes were low and I decided to get those replaced. I was in at 10AM, was told my car would be done by 12PM, and got a phone call at 11AM (an hour early) saying my car was ready. Great experience overall. Great pricing. Quick turnaround. Honest work. I will definitely be back here again whenever I need some repairs done. read more

I got my brakes done here a couple of months ago. I don't drive my car much but I started noticing some clicking noise. Nothing to do with the brakes. It seems some how on my front passenger side tire I was missed 4 out of the 5 lug nuts. Could of been anything for any reason? Locked one remained. I called back and told them my situation and the owner told me to bring my car in immediately. Brakes started squeaking, called Dale at M & D Brake, he was able to get me in before I damaged my Rotors. Have special slotted and drilled Rotors, some Brake places won't turn them. M & D had the right machine for high end Rotors. One of the Ceramic Pads cracked causing the noise. Dale was able to get the same Extreme Braking Ceramic Pads. They also cleaned and turned the rear brakes. In and out in a couple of hours. Highly recommend M & D Brake service. This is the second time I've had my brakes done at M & D Brakes. Thanks Dale! Had a noise coming from the rear brakes, Dale immediately knew what the problem was. Brake dust. To me sounded like new brakes, boy was I wrong (thankfully) now have more money to pay my wealthy ex-wife. (That's a zero star story about California Divorce Attorneys). I called D & M Brakes on National Blvd in Los Angeles, as per my husband suggestion, to inquiry if they could fix my right- side mirror on my Lexus. The moment I arrived I was asked if I was the person who just called... I explained the issue I was having with my mirror ...a mechanic, who was working on the side, was called to take a look at it ....the mechanic worked on my car for about 7 minutes ...then the gentleman told me, "Done" !! "It was disconnected..." he said ....shook my hand and sent me on my way... I'm writing this ... not only to acknowledge the stellar "free service" I received .... but it's not only the fact that I wasn't charged! These guys are really as good as they get. First of all you got the attention and care of a small business owner who genuinely cares about his customers because for him, happy customers = more business. My experience here was very pleasant. I'm pretty much a do-it-yourself person when it comes to working on cars because I don't believe mechanics at dealerships treat your car with love at all and the price you pay deserves that. Dale and his group of guys here do take the time to do the job properly and the best part is they offer an incredible price when compared to others. For example, he charges $10 to turn your rotors when everyone else charges a solid $20 bucks each. Some places don't even want to turn your rotors cause they think a $20 job isn't worth their time. In short great business, will come back for future repairs & maintenance issues. Oh and even tho their business name is states brakes, they do all kinds of repairs and maintenance issues. I called Friday afternoon when the owner was on his way out, but he happily accommodated me when I asked if I could bring my car in on Saturday. He was on time and friendly when I arrived. My brakes were fixed within a few hours and drives SO much better than before. Their prices were very affordable.
