I was a little worried about the reviews but decided to give this place a shot. Allen Tire Company and Tire Depot wanted to charge me a similar price, but i had to wait 2-3 hours. Granted this is during Covid, but its still too long for my taste. I came to M&R and was in and out the door within the hour. I bought four goodyear tires and had an aligment done as well as an engine air filter change. Mario, who is the manager is very relaxed and helpful; i called up afterwards and asked a few questions about the work that i had and he helped me clear up a confusion. I had no issues with the service and so far my car rides a lot better after the aligment. I came in for an oil change and a week later. I noticed the car was not performing the same so I called to let them know I came in for them to check the oil because something didn't feel right and they stated that it was the throttlebody or the transmission they completely dismantled the throttlebody to the vehicle said there are codes popping up in my vehicle and suggested for me to replace a throttle body and tried to charge me $59 for the inspection the car has a record of no issues until them I go on my way and before I leave the lot now my check engine light is on they didn't fix the car. They le! the worst, and they even disconnected to the car battery , erased codes now the car has no power is stalling so they try to send me to another location which is located in Santa Fe Springs and they would pay for there mistake the problem with that is that they work together. THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND SHADY PRACTICES I have pictures and footage of what was done to the car. Despite girl that works there saying they can't check the car unless I sign company policies I said I don't want to sign. Believe the reviews. This place is a typical scamming mechanic. I brought my new 2016 Ram truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. Their special included 5 quarts of 10-40w oil but not being a mechanic, I don't know about 10-40 vs 10-20 vs 3.14-69. AFTER 90 minutes (mind you, I was here before opening and before everyone else) I am told that I need full synthetic oil. I ask the price and told it would be 4x the advertised price (over $80!!!!) I said what about the other oil and I'm told that it isn't recommended by the manufacture but it could be put in. I ask him "what could happen?" And he refused to answer. He said he would stick to recommendations but as the owner of the truck, it is up to me. I told him of course and I could put veggie oil in if I wanted but I want to know what could happen. Again, no answer. Just talking around the bush. Bear in mind, this us AFTER they listed "recommended services" on a truck with only 5600 miles!!!! Whatever, put the synthetic oil in. I'll call the credit card company, explain the issue and they will pull the difference from the $20 advertising and the $130 charge. Here is what is funny. As I wrote that last paragraph, I was pulled outside again and told my filter is "special" and will cost more. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!! read more

Ok so this location is within walking distance. I've had great service until like 6 months ago when I think they changed management. Went back today and again I think new management BUT for the good. Last time I left pretty upset, and today, the guy that helped me remembered me, his name is Joe. He's really nice and helpful. I went in to get my Jeep Wrangler aligned. The service took a bit longer than I thought but I was in no rush and besides... They have very nice cushy sofas and TrueTV on plus car magazines! = heaven! Lol Anyway, later he called me over to the work area and along with Joshua (cutie too btw, and super nice!!) showed me something I suspected.... My car has a death wobble that I need to get corrected, and also need to change a belt that's worn. I didn't have the money to do those two things but I appreciate them letting me know. I told them I would be back and I will. I went back inside and paid, and I felt the need to apologize to Joe for last time. He said no problem and was nice about it. When I walked out to my car, Joshua was under the wheel well doing something and he told me he was just tightening the part that wobbles to help me out a bit.. He did it just cause he's awesome. Inexpensive oil changes... But know your car. Every time I come here there tell me something is wrong with my car. Like today, my power steering fluid was dirty even though I had it replaced along with the power steering pump less than two months ago. I checked it again just in case.... nope, it was fine. So for quick oil changes and tire rotations at a decent price, this place is good. But when they always tell me something is wrong with my car when I know it's not, it's annoying. I've been coming here for years to get an oil change ($13.95) and this is the first pleasant experience that I've had. I don't believe in energy and all that, but every other time I've come in I got janky, scammy vibes, like something was off with the employees, but not this time. I don't know what's changed, but the overall atmosphere and attitude of the employees is brand new. You know how when you come into a business and you can tell whether or not the employees HAVE to be there as opposed to wanting to be there just by the way they treat you? I bought my tires from BMW dealer, something I would never do again, and the tires happen to be defective. I was asked by by BMW to go to an authorized Goodyear dealer for inspection. Mario, was God sent, he inspected the tires and confirmed defection. He gave me his card, and told that he'd love for me to keep it and use it since we know our tires. i will say this, I have been going to this place for some years now. What originally caught my eye was the price but, the people there are friendly. Sometimes, you may have to wait awhile for an oil change but, it is still worth the wait. While you are waiting you can get fresh hot coffee, watch tv or read a magazine. We had been needing brake work for a while and were really dreading it. Like most people, the economy has hit us hard and we don't have a lot of money to spare. We went here, and we could NOT be more pleased! They were abundantly fair and we ended up only spending $279 for new brakes, a brake fluid flush, a new air filter and an oil change. Our car was ready when they said it would be and the workers were extremely nice/courteous. Then I found our our bill should have been close to $350, they took that much money off. I could not recommend this place more. A good, honest mechanic is so hard to find, we will now be going here for any automotive needs. you know that feeling, the one where you feel there is a 40ft pole shoved up your ass and someone's fucking you with it? yeah. don't ever come here. sometimes convenience ends up being expensive. case in point: this place is a mere 10 minutes from work and when i found a six inch nail LODGED on the side of my rear passenger tire last week i immediately thought of them. now i won't go into how messed up it is to be going around LODGING nails to the side of people's car tires but i will say this: it would've been worth it catching the spineless bastard doing it just so i could've taken that nail out and stabbed the dude on the leg with it. you just don't mess with a man's car. DAMN. okay okay okay. i am done venting. about the nail anyway. so i go into this place and right away i have to look for these folks to help me out. apparently they're too good to do business with people and they're just doing so out of charity. then, i am told there is no repairing the tire and i should just go ahead and replace all four tires because they're running a special excuse me, but, i don't go from mending my tire please to ok i'll buy 4 tires with the flick of the suggestive switch. what the hell? i did get my tire replaced (an expensive $70 dollars) on account that leaving with the nail still LODGED would've been worse than being fucked over with a 40ft pole but damn, this place reeks of rip off. heh. read more

I have a 2010 Toyota and got the managers special oil change a few days later notice I was leaking oil. Took it to the dealer and they told me they tried to remove the filter but couldn't plus damaged it that was the oil leak. Yah I got the managers Special alright. AVOID THIS PLACE, WILL BE CLOSED SOON. On behalf of a friend who just spent thousands of dollars due to the carelessness of the staff here I have to post a review for others to NEVER EVER EVER get serviced here. We have reported them to the B.A.R. And will be shut down due to their actions. She went in for a broken radiator after the DEALERSHIP told her that was what was wrong so she towed it to the place who would do it the "cheapest" and "fastest" as she needs her car for work. After a quote over the phone they fix the radiator and new coolant they charged her $700+ day her car will be ready the next day. She calls all day no answer. Come shortly before 5pm before they close they call her to tell her that the water pump could not withstand the pressure of the new radiator and burst. "Not their fault her part is old" as per the manufacturer you don't replace a part until it gives out per the guarantee. This place said they'll charge her another $300+ to fix that and it'll be done in the am. So day three rolls around her car still isn't ready. They call her back and say "since the radiator put too much on the water pump and it exploded the water entered your engine and head gasket, you'll need a new engine". So after quoting $3,000+ for a new engine and all the other work beforehand it'll be about $4,000. After speaking with a manager they lowered the engine price by a few hundred dollars. They refuse to accept that it was their error in a faulty part or explain that that could happen once they put it in and refuse to pay for the services their employees failed upon doing. Go in with a running car and leave with one that doesn't work. Upon entering this so called establishment we waited for our quotes and printout of work serviced on the vehicle nearly an hour and it wasn't until I caught the employee chilling at his desk talking on his cell phone and playing games did he notice that we were still there for a simple print out. AND on top of that we witnessed an altercation between them and a customer and a warranty with GOODYEAR TIRES which they claim they don't honor that they just "steal the name, issue credit cards, and sell their tires" as stated by the employee to the customer then refused to let him see the manager who was out, even though we had just spoken with him. CROOKS. We had to tow our car somewhere else and give them their water pump back and they still took $700+ for destroying my friends car as well as her having to pay another shop for an engine because she couldn't trust them to do one simple job that she KNEW was the only problem with it. They also changed their words even though I was there and heard word for word and said how do they know we didn't bring the car in with water in the engine in the first place!! They explicitly said they checked the car thoroughly for three whole days and gave three whole different problems until they screwed up the whole car! Can't wait until the Bureau of Automotive Repair shuts them down after our claim this is lucrative behavior and carelessness. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't change your oil, it would be less harmful to your car then bringing it here. So just picked up my wife's car after a 24 hour oil change. Granted the drain plug was stripped after my last oil change with them so I could see a little extra time but damn really? After trying for a few hours she had to leave and came back. They told her they would drop the oil pan and remove the plug should only take 3 hours they said. 4 hours later we called and it was still not ready, told her they would call her Iin 30 minutes. 2 hours later we called back and we're then informed that they had been trying to remove it but could not get it out. They had still not dripped the oil pan. They did however have time to find 2 nails in our tires and note that the power steering was low. I have now threatened harm to the vehicle if she takes the car back there again. read more

When I am called to pay for my oil change, I see a notation "customer did not request tire rotation" The sign clearly states that the oil change includes tire rotation and in the past I did not have to request the tire rotation...very disappointing especially after the long wait! read more

I was driving on the way to the mall when I suddenly felt a flat , I thought I was lucky to find the nearest location Goodyear right around the corner as a life savior , in conclusion it turned out to be a BAD YEAR... They replaced my flat with a new tire knowing there was a leak in my rim, it's obvious they wanted to rip me off because I had a Mercedes, when I woke up the next morning, I woke up to another flat, I was like are you serious ? I must have haters, but instead took it to allen tired, and told me the brutal truth that even though you replaced your tire twice with them they would keep your money thinking you would never find out about the leak, so allen tires replaced my rim with a spare and ended up taking two days to replace it , can't complain now read more

Less, than a block away and ill travel 100 miles before ever stopping here again. Brought my own tire by to have installed. Service writer looked annoyed but reluctantly accepted the job. It was Sunday and not busy. It took literally less than 3 minutes to install. Service writer had me at the counter seconds before tire was being installed. Charged me 40.00. I questioned the price and asked why the tire wasn't balanced. He said it would be more to balance. I made him aware that his advertised oil change usually takes 20 min. And he's only charging 19.99. He looks at me and states "don't know what to tell you, I only work here" really? We're, your potential customers aren't idiots.
