I like the pizza and the wings (Wing Dings!) as long as you're picking it up. Don't like eating in as much as I used to when I was a kid. But when I get it home, M&S makes me proud to be from NJ. Specifically this part of NJ. Now I LOVE Chicago pizza and think that Lou Malnatti's is as close to perfect as it gets, but this is different. NJ pizza and Chicago pan pizza are like comparing apples and oranges. So, when it comes to local pizza, I'm a huge fan of M&S. What they lack in happy-go-lucky personalities, they more than make up for in pizza. read more

Like most of the reviews stated, this is an old school pizzeria. No refrigerators with smart waters and $2 bottled tap water. If you want water, they give it to you from the fountain like the good old days, for FREE. I had a slice if plain and a slice of margarita. Both were excellent. Very high quality cheese, tasty flaky crust and good sauce. This is my new lunch pizza spot. read more

Best squares in New Jersey! They are light, airy with a nice amount of sauce. Not soggy at all. I can't stand a heavy gooey square.

This is the BEST pizza in New Jersey without a doubt. A great sauce, perfected crust, and a taste that is just unique. Love pizza where you can taste the sauce and it isn't overpowered by too much cheese or oregano. The cheese also differs from other pizzerias in that it's tastier (maybe whole milk). Best part is after scarfing down a slice the crust is a real treat with a blend of crispy and softness perfected as every pie I've had seems to be cooked the exact same amount of time. This place is off the chain, it's AWESOME!! Great staff fast friendly, great tasting everything. Fresh, clean, attention to detail special orders gotten right, remember there customers. If you live in Rockaway, Denville, or Dover you've been here or had someone tell you that you should go. This place is the best in the area. Just by looking at it you know it's not your average hole in the wall pizzeria. The pizza is amazing. At a very good price too. You could literally walk in and grab a cold slice and it will taste better then a lot of the other pizza in the area. The rest of the food here is good. Nothing to write home about. The place has this 60s feel to it which is great but I think that might be stalling them from doing any renavations. But if they keep making amazing pizza I'll keep coming back until the ceiling falls down on me. read more

This pizza is really good. The sauce is just a little tangy. Cheese and crust are good... But the sauce makes it a winner.

What a delicious slice of pizza! I tried pepperoni and chicken buffalo, both were great. Pepperoni had a slight oiliness which is perfect, the sauce on the buffalo was great, they must have added some cream or ranch or blue cheese to it, was fantastic and cheap! Very good cheese pie. Husband said it was better than the NYC pizzas he's had. For me, it was a 4.5 star pizza. I liked that it wasn't salty at all. The cheese was super cheesey and literally fell off our first slice when we got it fresh out of the oven. The tomato sauce was good, but I like my sauce more tomatoey with a bit more tang. Crust had a bit too much flour on the outer crust and bottom, but it wasn't too bad. Crust was crisp on the outside and chewy doughy on top. I'd give that part 5 stars. Didn't try anything else but I can say, try the pizza. read more

I've been frequenting this establishment for 30 years. I really enjoy their pizza and calzones, delivered without any thought to ambiance, but lovingly prepared food. I would categorize this as an eating experience as opposed to a dining experience. read more

This is my favorite pizzeria overall. Their meat stuffed pizza is incredible and their sausage sandwiches are so good. The service is always excellent and I love the atmosphere of the place. M&S is also great if you want a quick bite to eat or get a little something before you head home. read more

I have been eating here for 15 years. Lately the food has gone downhill. Their meatball subs used to be killer. Tonight I had to throw mine away because I knew right away the meat was old and frozen. Meat isnt supposed to be so chewey and blackish grey color. Not fresh at all! Come on guys do not slack get your stuff together and get with the program. You just lost a longterm customer! read more

Been coming to this pizza place for over 20 years! Excellent sauce on the pizza! Never tastes burned or old! The sandwiches are hearty and the rolls are always fresh. The best is also the fountain soda. Love the crushed ice , makes the drink taste so much better. Chicken parmigiana is better than any 5 date Italian restaurant I've ever been to in jersey or nyc. Best pizza within driving distance. I've been going here for over 20 years and I'm never let down. Amazing Sicilian and regular pies... Great options like chicken wraps and chicken wings. Food is decent here, but it looks soooo run down that its a huge turn off. In the winter its absolutely freezing in here so by the time you get your food, its not hot anymore. In the summer, its soo hot in the place that you can't get a relief, especially if you are eating hot food. Staff is friendly and knowledgable but they really need to renovate in order to keep the customers. read more

I like the pizza here but not a fan of the use of the microwave to heat up chicken rolls and the like so I don't order those. It has not happened recently but many times in the past they would put the slices in the oven without cleaning it first so you have to pick off burnt pieces from the bottom of your slices. I go about once a month to just get pizza and maybe a grape soda. Do not come here if you are looking for a friendly environment because 1/2 the guys working there are jerks. read more

Pizza is overall above average. My favorite is their stuffed pizza is among the best pizzas I have ever tried. Remember to ask for some sauce on the side. Their buffalo chicken is good to. When in the store workers have the tendency to stare and give odd looks, but as long as their pizza remains this good I will return, and recommend. read more

Pizza was ok , but the people giving this place 4 stars are probably people who would give Pizza Hut 5 stars , with that said , I will never return to this dump , went there during lunch , they had pizza that was leftover from the previous day , and they have the nerve to charge you extra if you use a credit or debit card . read more

The pizza is ok- and the staff was VERY unfriendly. The man who helped me barely even looked at me when I came to pick up the pizza. M&S has the very best pizza and sandwiches around! I've been going here for years & years, the staff is always friendly and the Italian cooks really know how to make great sauce and food, and use only the highest quality cheese and products. I've never been disappointed eating at M&S. Must have eaten here over 300 times & always worth the 18 minute drive from me. Very best place around for pizza, sandwiches, calzones, everything! The fountain drinks are also awesome and they use the crushed ice. Also try their eggplant parm sandwich, best around!
