I got to visit M Grill for a team dinner. This was an appointment for a party of 20+ people at around 5:30 pm on a Thursday. We arrived a bit early, but were able to get started early even before our whole party was there. For parking, they had valet parking in their own lot. It was about $6 for parking. It's a better size lot and there were plenty of spots still available at the time. This was my first time trying Brazilian bbq and I must say it was a unique experience. The staff frequently came around our big party with various of options (sirloin, ribs, chicken, etc.) I will say it did feel overwhelming with how many of them rotated to our table. Some of us were not able to grab the piece of meat before the next person comes around. They did have a sign that you could use to representing wanting more meat or not right now, but they did not utilize that for the night. Eventually, the frequency became more standard and then reduced the later we were there. Needless to say, I ate a lot and got a food coma by the end of the service. Additionally, there was a nice self serve salad bar. There were many stuff options from salad to pastas to cream corn, etc. Separately, I got a Brazilian soda and tried some fried cheese appetizers. I thought both were great as well. Overall, it was a unique experience that felt very refined. The lighting was dimly lit and felt sort of romantic. The tables and interior were all very clean. The staff were very attentive with bringing meats and remove unnecessary tableware. Come hungry and leave full! read more

This was an amazing dive into all grilled 'meat' experiences that I've had! I swear, meat offerings were coming left and right and you will not be disappointed by the taste, flavor and smell! The service is so inconsistent, literally had like 4 servers and never knew who our actual server because it was different people every time, no one consistently checked in. The meat people are in a rush and will make you feel rushed. As soon as we sat they asked if we wanted meat, we haven't even gotten our waters yet? I felt extremely rushed the whole time. The meat people going around aren't consistent either. We had the same chicken, parm chicken and sausage guy coming up to us, the beef rib and ribeye people only came by once and we actually had to ask for them to stop by. Overall, service was so bad, the rotation and consistency of the meat people going around was so bad, and nothing from the meats stood out. I came to M Grill after hearing great things, but my experience didn't match the reputation. The meats were mostly overcooked and way too salty, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. The grilled vegetables were served cold, and that completely killed my appetite, I really dislike cold veggies. For a restaurant that charges close to $300 and presents itself as fine dining, the drink options were surprisingly basic. I asked for a Sanpellegrino sparkling orange soda and was told they only had Coke and Sprite. If you're not drinking alcohol, there should be better non-alcoholic options available. The Fogo de Chão in Beverly Hills offers better quality, variety, and service. read more

Came YEARS ago and thought it was just okay and wasn't memorable. We decided to give the restaurant another chance and came back recently during LA Restaurant Week. PARKING: $6 valet only. When there's a concert going on at the Wiltern, make sure you mention that you're there for M Grill, otherwise the price is $20 for parking. We came with a reservation -- checked in, waited 5 min, then got seated. There are booths on the side for parties of 4 or smaller, but what was nice about the booths was that you can exit from either side of the booth, making it easy to access the salad bar. The whole experience was much more elevated than any of the other AYCE Brazilian BBQ restaurants in the LA region. The food was not overly salty and there was enough variety where you don't get the meat sweats afterwards. Favorites from the salad bar: - Salads: all were well dressed - Creamed corn - Honey glazed bacon: basically millionaires' bacon - Roasted garlic - Roasted mushrooms - Roasted carrots All items were delicious and fresh!!! Favorites from the grill: - Bottom sirloin - Costelao !!!! Get multiple slices!! The marbling was PERFECT and I knew I wanted seconds after I took the first bite - Grilled pineapple Honestly, all the cuts of meat were well marbled and well cooked. This AYCE Brazilian BBQ is my low-key favorite in Los Angeles. It is possibly the best-tasting Brazilian BBQ, beating out Fogo de Chao, in my opinion. Their premium meat is grilled over an open fire, just as it should be. They have an open buffet of sides, including some traditional items (cheese balls, rice, beans, plantains, and collard greens) and smoked salmon, olives, and a salad bar. The service was fast, friendly, and quite exceptional. The servers rotated endlessly with a variety of meat. My personal favorite was their RIBEYE cut. Before I called it quits, I requested one last cut of this meat, which was soft and delicious. This restaurant did well on the interior and has the best decor for an AYCE restaurant. The vibe ranges from a casual celebration to a romantic evening. Although the price is higher, if you are looking for quality, this is the spot. Haven't visited M Grill in a few years, but am I glad to report everything is just as good as, if not better than, it's been, albeit yes, a bit pricier. Everything at the salad bar was amazing that you really have to remind yourself to prioritize the meat. All the meats were amazing, and it honestly felt like picanhas were coming nonstop, which is definitely the best cut although the beef ribs were a close second in my opinion. We also had a red sangria pitcher and some caipirinha cocktail, which definitely added to the experience. The "meat boys" were great, and our server was amazing, even pushing together empty tables when all our plates and drinks were taking too much space. Additionally, the restaurant apparently renovated at some point, adding a bar and giving Las Vegas restaurant vibes a bit. $79/pp normally but $69/pp for DineLA 2025. $6 valet if the lot is requiring it. read more

But they are still by far my favorite Brazilian BBQ spot. My favorite items are the picanha, garlic picanha, and the pineapple! Located in Koreatown, LA, M Grill is my favorite spot for AYCE Brazilian BBQ. If I'm taking family or friends for a special occasion and they're craving steak, then I feel that M Grill is hard to beat. In addition to the excellent meat, ambiance and service is upscale. My wife loves the ribs as they're simply seasoned with a dry rub and cooked over fire. All I need to be happy is Picanha and their version of it is excellent. Compared to other churrascos, they also have other cuts of meat that are gems including chicken hearts (available on request), rack of lamb, and ribeye. I know that people obsess about getting their worth at an AYCE place, but I do think that having a plate or two from the salad bar is worth it. If you have a side of their chimichurri, horseradish, roasted garlic, grilled peppers, and pickled chilis, it directly impacts the flavor of the beef. But then you can get side dishes like salad, garlic rice, feijoada (Brazilian pork stew), and roasted veggies to supplement your meats with freshness. If you have some extra money burning through your pocket, then you could pay a supplemental fee to get wagyu picanha, lobster tails, and delicious cocktails (like a caipirinha). Sometimes dine LA will add a special deal for one of these treats. To finish the meal, my favorite thing is to get a few rounds of their grilled pineapple, seasoned with cinnamon and sugar. It's refreshing and it settles the stomach. When I last reviewed M Grill, I felt that Fogo de Chao was still the king of churrascos. I think that M Grill has levelled up its game with its high-quality offerings and Fogo de Chao has aggressively focused on expanding across the US. Though I have yet to try Galpao Gaucho (the newest option in southern california), I consider M Grill the place that I would go for a special churrasco experience. read more

The food and the environment are great, but if there is one thing that I have to mark down heavily on is the parking, you have to pay to start and it's a valet in the back of a building. The service was ok, I did wish the servers would frequently check up if I'd like another beer. Same experience on the 3nd visit. It's dim inside and very nice, the cuts of meat that we wanted tended to take a while before serving. I've seen reviews raving that it's great, and to each their own. Man it's been ages since I was last here! I used to work only a few blocks away from here so it was always my go to restaurant for churrascaria experience. I barely have any recollection of the place prior to the renovations but gotta say, place looks amazing! Table lamps have several light settings at the touch of a finger (literally, touch lamps lol) you can adjust to your personal preference. Everything was yummy, the major steak cuts were all so tender and delicious!! A couple could've used more seasoning but I'm not complaining. Server brought chimichuri there was house hot sauce on the same. The only meat we didn't like was the short ribs, it was super over cooked and dry and hard. I bite into it and threw it back out. Pineapples were endless lol. Love it! This experience was during DineLA on Wednesday night. The do offer a private room that seats maybe 15-20ppl with a TV inside, there was a company dining there that evening using the private room. Please be advised, any restaurant promotions are void during DineLA. Otherwise they would have BOGO whiskey on Wednesdays. We doing this out after we got and paid for our bill. We only got whiskey cuz our server told us about the special. Since we had already paid the bill, we didn't want to make a big deal out of it but because we had asked a different waitress about the discount, guess word got to the manager and back to our server. We didn't remind them about it, just thanked them for the evening as we walked out. We didn't mind paying the full price. I'm sure the manager would've been happy to honor the deal but again, we already paid and didn't want to make it big deal of it. We came to M Grill for DineLA on a Saturday night and it was quite bustling! Our server told us there would be a 90 min wait since it's so busy. We made a reservation beforehand and waited for about 10-15 min before getting seated. Meat: the different varieties of picanha and the top sirloin were amazing!! They were exactly what we envisioned for Brazilian BBQ. I really enjoyed the beef rib and the sirloin with cheese as well. The rack of lamb and the bottom sirloin, however, were a miss for me. The meat was pretty tough and dry. It also would've been nice if the server had informed us of the doneness of the meat because some pieces were definitely more done than we would've liked. Buffet: I highly recommend grabbing some items from the buffet to break up the meat! I liked the pickled onions, bell peppers, garlic rice, and other misc salads. Service: our server was very attentive throughout the night and asked if we had any requests. They did not refill our water and we weren't informed that the flat water is actually $9 a bottle. However, they were nice enough to remove the water charge at our request! Ambiance: very busy and bustling! There was a group that was honestly quite loud and kept screaming every once in a while. The screams were loud enough that everyone turned their heads to see what was going on. I would've appreciated the servers letting them know to tone it down more. Parking: $6 valet parking. $6.50 if paying by card. Overall, M Grill provided a wonderful Brazilian BBQ experience, but I would definitely try some other places first before coming back again. read more

Firstly the service is impeccable and fast if there's a specific meat you like you just ask and it will be brought. Salad bar is great the beef stroganoff is so good! But try not eat too much but it's so hard not too. All meats are incredible I wish I could remember the names but the quality is amazing. I LOVE the pineapple not going to lie had about 5 servings.
