Haven't visited M Grill in a few years, but am I glad to report everything is just as good as, if not better than, it's been, albeit yes, a bit pricier. Everything at the salad bar was amazing that you really have to remind yourself to prioritize the meat. All the meats were amazing, and it honestly felt like picanhas were coming nonstop, which is definitely the best cut although the beef ribs were a close second in my opinion. We also had a red sangria pitcher and some caipirinha cocktail, which definitely added to the experience. The "meat boys" were great, and our server was amazing, even pushing together empty tables when all our plates and drinks were taking too much space. Additionally, the restaurant apparently renovated at some point, adding a bar and giving Las Vegas restaurant vibes a bit. $79/pp normally but $69/pp for DineLA 2025. $6 valet if the lot is requiring it. read more

We came for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are so lovely. Only issue was for such a nice place the bathrooms were not nice. Firstly the service is impeccable and fast if there's a specific meat you like you just ask and it will be brought. Salad bar is great the beef stroganoff is so good! But try not eat too much but it's so hard not too. All meats are incredible I wish I could remember the names but the quality is amazing. I LOVE the pineapple not going to lie had about 5 servings. We came for a birthday and had a great time. I remember a few years ago, they were more affordable by a few bucks than Fogo, but now they're more expensive. But they are still by far my favorite Brazilian BBQ spot. My favorite items are the picanha, garlic picanha, and the pineapple! The cheese bread is an absolute must, and from the bar, I love the creamed corn and their chimichurri sauce. They gave a small flan with a candle for the birthday boy which was really nice. The food and the environment are great, but if there is one thing that I have to mark down heavily on is the parking, you have to pay to start and it's a valet in the back of a building. The service was ok, I did wish the servers would frequently check up if I'd like another beer. Same experience on the 3nd visit. It's dim inside and very nice, the cuts of meat that we wanted tended to take a while before serving. I've seen reviews raving that it's great, and to each their own. Man it's been ages since I was last here! I used to work only a few blocks away from here so it was always my go to restaurant for churrascaria experience. I barely have any recollection of the place prior to the renovations but gotta say, place looks amazing! Table lamps have several light settings at the touch of a finger (literally, touch lamps lol) you can adjust to your personal preference. Everything was yummy, the major steak cuts were all so tender and delicious!! A couple could've used more seasoning but I'm not complaining. Server brought chimichuri there was house hot sauce on the same. The only meat we didn't like was the short ribs, it was super over cooked and dry and hard. I bite into it and threw it back out. Pineapples were endless lol. Love it! This experience was during DineLA on Wednesday night. The do offer a private room that seats maybe 15-20ppl with a TV inside, there was a company dining there that evening using the private room. Please be advised, any restaurant promotions are void during DineLA. Otherwise they would have BOGO whiskey on Wednesdays. We doing this out after we got and paid for our bill. We only got whiskey cuz our server told us about the special. Since we had already paid the bill, we didn't want to make a big deal out of it but because we had asked a different waitress about the discount, guess word got to the manager and back to our server. We didn't remind them about it, just thanked them for the evening as we walked out. We didn't mind paying the full price. I'm sure the manager would've been happy to honor the deal but again, we already paid and didn't want to make it big deal of it. What a great spot! I finally tried it and thanks to my brother for asking to have his birthday dinner here. Service is fast-paced but not rushed if that makes any sense. The seating was well arranged with plenty of room to move around. Bring your elastic pants because you will eat. Sides are self served buffet style with plenty of real good options. We came to M Grill for DineLA on a Saturday night and it was quite bustling! Our server told us there would be a 90 min wait since it's so busy. We made a reservation beforehand and waited for about 10-15 min before getting seated. Meat: the different varieties of picanha and the top sirloin were amazing!! They were exactly what we envisioned for Brazilian BBQ. I really enjoyed the beef rib and the sirloin with cheese as well. The rack of lamb and the bottom sirloin, however, were a miss for me. The meat was pretty tough and dry. It also would've been nice if the server had informed us of the doneness of the meat because some pieces were definitely more done than we would've liked. Buffet: I highly recommend grabbing some items from the buffet to break up the meat! I liked the pickled onions, bell peppers, garlic rice, and other misc salads. Service: our server was very attentive throughout the night and asked if we had any requests. They did not refill our water and we weren't informed that the flat water is actually $9 a bottle. However, they were nice enough to remove the water charge at our request! Ambiance: very busy and bustling! There was a group that was honestly quite loud and kept screaming every once in a while. The screams were loud enough that everyone turned their heads to see what was going on. I would've appreciated the servers letting them know to tone it down more. This is my favorite Brazilian BBQ restaurant in LA. I like their selections of meats and salad bar. Everything tasted fresh and good. Especially their seasonal special - shrimp. Their shrimp is so flavorful and fresh. Our favorite meat is Top Sirloin and Garlic Picanha. It's tender and juicy. We will always ask for the pineapple, it's a must try. The cinnamon sugar compliments the tartness from pineapple, makes it a beautiful sweet balance. We made reservation on New Year's Eve and it was a breeze to get seated. The restaurant was decorated as fine dining with minimal lighting there. It's a bit concerning when you have to get up to grab food from the salad bar. I can barely take any pictures either due to the lighting. I think the quality has slight gone down recently with the price increase. This is definitely a restaurant that we won't visit often but only on special occasion. Regarding the ease of accessing restaurant, the entrance of the parking lot was actually slightly before the restaurant location on Google maps so I can image many first timers missing the entrance to the parking lot. The service is so inconsistent, literally had like 4 servers and never knew who our actual server because it was different people every time, no one consistently checked in. The meat people going around aren't consistent either. We had the same chicken, parm chicken and sausage guy coming up to us, the beef rib and ribeye people only came by once and we actually had to ask for them to stop by. We ate ourselves to a food coma. Becareful, you may fall asleep on your way home! Been craving Brazilian steakhouse and we went for a birthday dinner and it was amazing. Loved the extensive salad bar with various salads to roasted root vegetables. The various parade of meats were amazing; my favorite was the rib-eye and the lamb. The filet mignon was also decent, which I was not expecting. Additionally enjoyed more raw pieces of the Sirloin as well. Everyone of course loved the grilled pineapple sprinkled with cinnamon. They do have a decent wine list of new world and old. Refreshing to be in a California restaurant that was not just all Napa and Pasa Robles wines. If you like Italian red wines, the wine list has a various wines especially from Tuscany and Piedmont. The service was excellent! We had an amazing main server that checked in fluidly and made sure we got a taste of meats that we wanted. We did have an earlier reservation so felt like the meat servers came quite pretty frequently. The bussers were also attentive in clearing used plates and replacing new ones. It really was an harmony of excellent service overall. The ambience is nice. A bit dark but can be considered romantic and goes with the overall vibe. It's a big space and they did a good job trying to make it intimate but not cluttered. Furthermore, we liked the little red/green card they gave us to help take a break and pace our meals. And even with the pacing and not eating consistently for the full 2 hours, we were stuffed! Craving brazilian churrasqueria? This could be your place if you're willing to pay a good buck! Don't get me wrong the food is superb and always fresh, but it is pricey. About $70-80 a person. Service is fast, once you are seated, they ask for your drink, then you can get up and help yourself at the food bar. Not only do they have salads but also offer beans, rice, platanitos, cold cuts, seafood options, and some seasonal soups. Then various meat options come to your table and according to your card status (red or green) they will come to your table. Simply if it is on green they will keep coming, but if you turn your card to red then that means you're at a pause for food. Some of my favorite meat options are the garlic picanha, filet mignon, Brazilian sausage, garlic chicken, and last but not least the yummy cinnamon grilled pineapple spears! It is a very nice restaurant inside as it has been recently remodeled. No really good LA views since it is only on the 2nd floor. I've been to other Brazillian BBQ chains such as Fogo De Chao and I would say this is the better option for the quality of the meat and the sides. If you are coming here, I recommend getting reservations online. The Service: We had a reservation for 6 p.m., and when we got there, it wasn't too busy yet. We were seated right away. However, as the dinner rush came through, service became a bit spottier. They were still attentive, but if you requested any special meats, they took awhile to come out. The waiters consistently refilled our waters and people did come by consistently with different meats though! I would have to say the buffet was impeccably clean - there was staff watching it and cleaning it as it got messy which I appreciated. The Food: All the different meats were super tender and juicy. My favorite would have to be the picanha! I would have to say my favorite though is not a meat, but the cinnamon grilled pineapple! Here is what we ordered: BBQ Dinner $$74.99: A lot pricier than other brazilian bbq places we have been to. They had a ton of options of hot and cold at the salad bar. There was a lot of rotating meats, but it seemed like the same ones kept coming out. We had to specially order multiple different types of meat on the menu. Believe it or not, the pineapple was the best part of the entire meal! Hello Melon $16: Very light and flavorful. The melon really came out and it was on the sweeter side. This is a good choice for anyone who wants a fun drink! Spring Blossom $16: This was my favorite of the night. It was also sweet and flavorful. I would definitely get this one again! Passion Fruit Caipirinha $18: I have had caipirinhas before and this was nothing special. We were really excited for the passion fruit, but it tasted nothing like it. Overall, I would love to come back. The staff and servers were really attentive and friendly. The entire dining room was filled up, but I never felt like I was waiting for too long to get someone's attention. Some things were good but also M Grill has some of the TOUGHEST meats I've ever experienced at a Brazilian steakhouse. The picanha, which is usually the best had so much gristle I couldn't even chew it. Ribeye was dry and tough too. I had a terrible experience here. I went on Thanksgiving evening made a reservation for 6 o'clock for a group of six people all clients of my business all musicians from the UK. I've been to this location once previously had a good experience that was not to be the case today. Obviously made an advance reservation wasn't very busy when we got there, but we still told my table wasn't ready and I'd have to wait wait for about 10 minutes and then ask can we just wait at the bar and they said OK in total waited about 20 minutes 25 minutes to get seated and there were many seats available not sure what the weight was about as soon as I sat down they explained how it worked which I'm very familiar with Brazilian barbecue they told me they were items that would not be brought around with the same frequency, but you could ask for them specifically one of these items was the reason I went to this restaurant previously when I've been there I've had their lamb chops which were really, really great I told my clients that was the highlight of the menu so we told the server that all six of us at the table would like lamb chops we asked for them to be well done. The server pointed out. It would take 15 minutes usually to get lamb chops out we told them that wasn't a problem, but it was a priority that They came to our table with a sufficient amount for six people I'm going to condense the ins and outs of the whole deal here I asked the server four times over the next hour for lamb chops didn't happen. I asked one of the managers who said he'd look into it didn't happen on one occasion one waiter came to the table with literally two pieces of lamb chop two lamb chops on the sixth occasion I actually confronted two managers and told them about the ridiculous weight. The second issue I had when I arrived while I was waiting for my table I asked for a specific drink, which was a raspberry lemon drop. Describe the drink told him I didn't want too much vodkaand I wanted my drink to be pretty sweet as I was driving. I was just gonna have one drink when I eventually got the drink to my table, which took about 15 minutes. I took a sip out of the drink and thought it tasted disgusting couldn't figure out why until I asked one of my colleagues. What the drink was made of and they said you could smell the tequila. I am allergic to tequila. It makes me queasy. I confronted two managers, which was the sixth time I had asked about the meat that we came for they apologized. I told him about the drink they apologized, but they honestly didn't seem too bothered about how unhappy I was. I decided to leave the restaurant One of the managers did deduct a couple of small items from the menu and my mail, which I didn't understand because everybody at the table was disgruntled and the other thing I wanna mention is when I confronted the two managers I told them do not give me a check that has a gratuity on it seen that the whole problem was to do with the service in the restaurant The final check I got had a gratuity which I found offensive. read more

The staffs were very attentive, all of them. Some came by and ask if we have any special request and upon hearing my neighbor ask for it, so did I. If you know me and my husband we go almost weekly to Brazilian steakhouses. We tried this place during the pandemic and have been wanting to try it again since. We made reservations and made the drive from OC. I was disappointed they placed us at such a tiny table but it worked out fine. On the table already were their delicious cheese breads and fried polenta. The meat guys came around often. They did have a wide variety of meats. I liked that they offered chicken hearts and of course my favorite of the meats was the picanha. But we did find most of their meats to be rather bland and not salty enough. I did like their chimichurri and house hot sauce they provided. Besides meats, they did have yummy grilled pineapple going around as well. As for the salad bar, most items were cold items. Most of the items were salads but were too bland in my opinion. Also, I did not like their mushrooms cold. There was only 6 hot items. Those included white rice, mashed potatoes, beef stroganoff, and bean & rice. No soups. The creamed corn was my favorite of the hot items. The bar area was really well kept and clean which I appreciated. We paid $157 (without tip) for two. Service was excellent. The meat guys came around all the time and would ask if there were any meats we were waiting for that they can bring out. Our waitress was also informative. Our drinks were constantly refilled. The experience was lackluster. Overall, the staff was friendly, but that was about the only highlight of our experience. The food lacked flavor. I think the three items we enjoyed were the pineapple, the lamb, and the garlic picanha. Everything else was either overcooked or had no flavor.
