It's located in the same "alleyway" business spot as Ahgassi Gopchang, both can be prone to be super busy, so keep that in mind. There is a seating/waiting area outside which is nice. We came here on the last day of Anime Expo and we were seated immediately. There's a good amount of tables and seating inside. Perfect. Apparently my boyfriend went here before and ran into Tablo from Epik High. Neat! Service was efficient and they get the food out to you ASAP. Even though there's a place that specializes in intestines next door, my boyfriend can't help but to order it here too, but who can blame him since it's a deliciously crispy and yummy meat and not THAT common, I suppose. We got the medium spicy intestine combo and when we asked how spicy it was, we confirmed that it was around as spicy as Buldak. I've been eating other Buldak variants lately and not the original, so this kind of hit me on the back of the head like a baseball bat. Definitely is an additive spiciness that builds throughout the meal. Somewhat destroyed our less spice tolerant Cantonese friend and we had a lot of food left over. Each combo comes with a stew (we bot the soybean paste one) a steamed egg, aged kimchi, cheese fondue (it's a small tinfoil bowl of cheese you cook on the grill), jalapenos and onions, as well as all of the banchan. There's also the option to choose 3 items and you can duplicate up to 2 items, but I think we just got one of each (small/large intestine and the abomasum). Due to underestimating the spice and being dehydrated after technically 5 days of AX, we were not able to finish all of our food and had to take it to go. This is definitely something you need a drink to cool down with or rice to mitigate the spice. But overall, not bad!

First time trying Grilled Intestines at Korean BBQ. It was that busy when we came in which is great because I felt like I could eat in peace. The staff here were read to get to work and took our order pretty quickly. They actually cook and flip the meats for you which I wasn't use to because we usually have to DIY. The setting was the typical kbbq and the booths are cozy. The small intestine was good crispy but the large intestine was a bit too much on the rich fatty side for me. All in all everything was pretty good. The price is decent as it was just the group of us 4 and we split like $50 bucks each not too bad. I would come again if I were to make another trip to LA.

Came here on a weekday around 8 pm, and it wasn't too busy, which was nice. We ordered the beef combo and the intestine combo. The meat quality here is supposed to be prime, so the prices are a bit higher than other spots. I like that they cook everything for you at the table, and the food itself was good overall. What I didn't like was how rushed the cooking felt. Two of our friends were still on the way, and while we were just hanging out, drinking soju, and waiting, the server started cooking all the meat pretty fast. By the time our friends arrived, the beef combo was already cooked, tossed onto their plates, and looked kind of burnt and cold. It would've been nice if they waited for everyone to show up before starting. That aside, it's still a solid Korean BBQ spot, especially if you're into intestines like I am. The flavors are good, and the meat quality is there. Also, just valet when you come it's only about $4 and saves you the hassle of finding parking in K-Town.

Came here randomly on a weekend. Was able to book a reservation through yelp same day 40 minutes in advance, and we were seated pretty easily when we arrived. There were a lot of people so the place is pretty packed and gets loud. Service was really good. Everyone is pretty friendly no issues there food wise it is pretty mid in my opinion. Get the daechang option + beef if you do go. I would personally skip out on the other intestines (small). A lot of people around us got the beef plate option combo so I am curious to try that next time I go. The small intestines were very salty and wasn't that great compared to other places. parking is valet or street parking

King Chang is so fire I got the small beef combo with the spicy soup & a side of steamed egg. I also ordered a small intestine soup (which is my absolute FAVE) and we got a half side order of beef tongue All the meats that came with the beef combo were absolutely fantastic. Great marbling, super tender and so flavorful! The beef tongue was delicious as well but our absolute favorite meat was the boneless short rib. It was SO SEXY omg... cooked to literal perfection and absolutely stunning... The small intestine soup is so freaking good... I loved the intestines were so chewy and yummy and the soup was refreshing and perfect The steamed egg was cooked right in front of us which was super cool & a new experience at kbbq. The side dishes were all so delicious and the kimchi hit so hard.. the kimchi is kinda spicy so be careful LOL Service was great, it was SUPER slow on a Friday night which was super surprising so the staff was super attentive and fast There's lots of tables for small & big parties, perfect for date night or group dinners. There's a private parking lot with valet available; if you street park be careful: my car window got smashed

Loved this place -- it feels like a step up from your typical KBBQ spot in LA. The meat quality was immediately noticeable, especially the marbling. Everything we tried was well-balanced in flavor and cooked beautifully, but the standout for me was the intestines combo (곱창콤보). It was rich, clean, and surprisingly refined -- not overly greasy or heavy like it can be at other places. We also ordered a few sides, and they were all solid. The cold noodles were refreshing and cut through the richness of the meal nicely, and the spicy chicken feet had a good depth of flavor without being overwhelming. What I really appreciated was the overall atmosphere -- it felt genuinely Korean, not overly commercialized. The wall of celebrity signatures added a fun touch without taking away from the dining experience.

As a die-hard offal lover, KingChang-La redefined my expectations! The aroma of sizzling BBQ hits you at the door, and servers grill everything for you--no work, all feast! Marinated meats are so flavorful, no sauce needed! Must-Eat in LA Koreatown! This Offal Heaven Kept Me Coming Back All Week! Top Picks Beef Large Intestine: Braised for 48hrs! Crispy outside, juicy inside--zero funk. Even haters beg for bites! Intestine Combo: Fatty large intestine + chewy tripe +糯粉小肠 (like Cantonese "粉肠")! Wrap with kimchi and cheese--mind-blowing! Spicy Octopus Bibimbap: Crunchy rice, chewy octopus, and gochujang. Add grilled intestine--carbs + fat = perfection! valet:$4 Limited parking--try street spots nearby.

Always great service, nice and clean restaurant. The workers are very friendly and helpful. Delicious place for gopchang. The intestine is actually marinated well too. The other meats such as the galbi or brisket is also delicious here! Flat rate $6 parking around the corner, valet parking in the small lot out front, or street parking available.

Skip the wait at Ahgassi and go to King Chang. This spot is way better in my opinion. My SO and I shared a medium intestine combo and left full and satisfied. Love that you can get three type of intestines. Chewy, fatty, and some crispy are just some of the words i would describe the experience here (all good adjectives btw). I also love the ramyun here! i know you can make it at home, but the noodles just goes so well with the meats. The service here is amazing, and they help you get started. Best to wear the clothes you don't mind smelling up. Parking is available on the street and they have a valet service in their shared lot.

Amazing service! Alvin was great!!! So attentive !!!! I love that they cook the food for you here so you can just sit back and relax! They sell beer pitchers and soju so I highly recommend this spot!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Best Korean BBQ by far. Fresh and flavorful. The service is amazing. We didn't have to wait or ask for anything. Everything is all ready waiting for you when you are seated. All you have to order is your entree. Celebrated my birthday and our servers made sure I had noodles, noodles, noodles. We had the small beef combo, radish kimchi noodles, pancake & steamed egg. Delicious. Yummm yummm yummmy. Daniel, Katie and one young lady who didn't have the glowing badge were amazing. Music was just right, atmosphere was inviting to just eat more. Definitely will be returning with the whole family. A must to eat here when you're in koreatown. Reservation highly recommended due to long wait times for delicious K-BBQ

Prime boneless short rib & cheese fondue!

Excellent meat quality and top tier service! We came here on a Friday night for a group dinner and could not have had a better experience. Located right next door to Ahgassi and one of the few KBBQ spots in KTown that takes reservations. We made a reservation online for 7 people and had no issues accommodating us. There were quite a few large parties there as well. Here's what we ordered: King Chang Family Combo - This was the perfect amount of food for us. All the beef items - especially the prime boneless short rib - were delicious. The marbling of the beef was actually insane (see pictures). We added a half order of seasoned short rib just in case but we could've done without it. Large intestines - I've only had beef intestines once and was hesitant on trying it again, but this ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night. This is one of their specialties and highly recommend giving it a try Fried dumplings with mozzarella - These were tasty and weren't too spicy Spicy buckwheat noodles - Pretty standard but served chilled and paired nicely with the grilled meat Huge shoutout to our server Alvin for the best service I have ever had at a KBBQ spot. He cooked all of our meat perfectly and helped us with everything before we could even think to ask. Note, this is not AYCE but we were absolutely stuffed and came out to about the same price per person for a premium AYCE option even after several drinks, side orders, and tax/tip. Lastly, we walked to the restaurant but they have a valet parking lot with plenty of spots.

Parking is terribly hard, maybe impossible. Had to street park a few blocks down to get here. This KBBQ place is more traditional than your typical KBBQ places regarding the different cuts of meat served and the side dishes. There is someone grilling the meat for you, so the meat is cooked to perfection each time. I think maybe this place is not really my cup of tea in what they offered, but still really good!

Such a nice option when you want something a little different without going across town. We ordered the coconut beef adobo, pork ribs, and the cornbread bibingka. The pork ribs were not your typical saucy, sweet, fall off the bone type. These were more dry style with a bark that can be a little tough, but the meat itself was still juicy underneath. The cornbread bibingka was also really good. It felt like the perfect mix of classic cornbread and bibingka, slightly sweet and soft, and the sugar on top was a nice touch. Portions were solid too. My husband and I had enough leftovers for the next day. Overall, really glad we finally got to try it, and we would definitely love to try more of their dishes someday.

We ordered beef ribs, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and dessert. They were out of the banana pudding, so we settled for peach cobbler. The total was around $50, which isn't bad for dinner for two. The excitement really started to hit when we got home and opened everything up. Unfortunately, that's when reality set in. The mac and cheese was terrible. Completely flavorless, watery, and mushy. The pasta was so overcooked it practically fell apart and blended together like baby food. It tasted old and had absolutely no seasoning or richness whatsoever. First and last time ordering that. Next was the brisket. The slices were gray, dry, and looked like they'd been sitting around for a while. I took one bite and immediately said, "Absolutely not." Another disappointment. But I wasn't too worried yet because I came for one thing: THE RIBS. The flavor was actually still there. The sauce and seasoning reminded me of the Woody's I remembered. BUT THE TEXTURE... A completely different story. The ribs weren't tender, weren't juicy, and definitely weren't falling off the bone. They were tough enough that I found myself working for every bite. At that point, the empty parking lot, empty dining room, and lack of lines made a lot more sense. By the end of the meal, I ended up rinsing the remaining ribs off so my dog could enjoy them as a chew toy. What hurts most isn't the bad meal--it's seeing what was once a legendary BBQ spot become a shadow of what it used to be. I almost wish I hadn't come back because it tarnished some really great childhood memories for me. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in being honest. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on this experience, Woody's is not the Woody's I remember, and unfortunately, I won't be returning. If it's any consolation, the cobbler was okay. But not worth going out of my way for.

I saw a few YouTubers eating food from moo's Craft so knew I had to have it on my list of places to try when visiting socal. My group and I decided to stop here for our lunch before going to universal studios since it was along the way. Parking is pretty confusing for us. They state there's a lot behind the building to park at, but it looks liked you have to pay and we weren't sure which lot. So we just did street parking. We did go around 1:30 pm on a Thursday, so did not have much of an issue with finding street parking. Inside the restaurant, they have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There's no wait staff, so you go to the counter and order and once it's ready, they call your name/number and you pick up your tray of food from the counter. We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the food and everyone said the BBQ was some of the best they've had. The brisket was really tender and seasoned well. Everything was seasoned well actually. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.
