The last guy at least did an excellent foot massage for the pedi but the second time the massage felt like a message you get from your ex that doesn't want to be there or doing it. Sure the place is pretty and has a ton of color options but it is also on average $5-10 pricier than the other local salons. I am not even sure what that extra translated into. Let me start off by saying I tip the nail techs between $20-$25 for service and spend a lot of money here! Been a regular since August. Today, I asked for a gel manicure and pedicure. My nail tech COMPLETELY rushed the the pedicure service. The water was COLD and the towel treatment was HOT! The gel manicure service was HORRIBLE. The nail tech was RUDE. If you are a minority women you will be treated as a "Z" Listed Guest. Luke the manager is racist and rude. He walked out my face and ignored me while I was trying to explain. He just called and said "Well I walked out the store." I left because he was horribly rude and nasty. I am a non controversial woman and very soft spoken. I've come here quite a few times and this time my pedicure girl was super unfriendly. When I said I didn't want gel, she asked me three more times if I wanted gel, and then laughed with the girl next to her about how I didn't want it. She also handed me the $88 pedicure menu, and when I said I wanted the cheaper, signature spa pedicure, it was like I was treated differently. They didn't ask if I or my husband wanted anything to drink. My chair was broken so I had to sit straight to the whole time. She knicked my pinky toe and it caused me to flinch, which she gave me a dirty look for. She made my big toe bleed. She put my feet in hot wax while it was still unbearably hot. And at the end, when she was removing the towel from under my feet, my big toe hit her forearm, and she gave me the dirtiest look. The only redeeming experience today was my manicure from a different person. At check out, we waited forever to pay and my pedicure lady was hovering over the counter to see the tip. Not to mention everything was $210... Not sure I'll be coming back here. This also made me never want to get my nails done again. read more

I've been going to this salon since it opened down the street from my apartment complex. It's ambiance is beautiful but as a 25 year careered, well-trained, licensed nail tech I've worked in several high-end & moderately priced nail salons (Finger & Toes, The Nest Spa, Antoine du Chez, etc.) because of this, I tend to look for more than just a salons looks. The services are not done synonymously, therefore, you WONT get the same service or experience each time you go. This salon is already excessively over priced, but that doesn't stop them from nickel & dimming you as they see fit and this is where one of the major problems I have with this salon exists. Your bill for 1adult short acrylic nails/pedi, a 2 & 3 yr old child mani/pedi w/gel polish will easily come up to $400 w/o drinks, designs or anything extra. Additionally, if your nails need to be redone due to your gel polish chipping or abnormal nail breakage, which is often due to misapplication of products by the nail tech they are not accustomed to adequately explaining their service policies to customers needing to have their nail redone. They will fix for you but you will be required to pay for them inconveniencing you to fix their nail techs work as if it is your fault your nails didn't hold up to the normal 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, customers service is also not synonymous, you will one day leave this establishment a few times unsatisfied. Competition is thick out there! M.Vince Spa is just focused on making money by any means necessary, therefore satisfying customers, keeping customers, communicating adequately with customers and providing top quality indistinguishable service experiences is not their top priority. I know how to communicate and advocate for what I know is and isn't fair or right, however, your managements response was unsatisfactory, hence my Yelp review. The first time this occurred I had no problem receiving the service I deserved without having to be inconvenienced in paying for the fact I had to return so soon to have my nails fixed. However, when it occurred again, I was not informed by your management regarding the nail fix policy, which would have been their opportunity to do so and again when I checked in for my nails to be fixed. I was not informed until my nails were being prepped to be polished that my nail fix service would be charged at full price for a polish change, which I disagreed, and left with unpolished/unfinished/jagged nails. Please don't misunderstand my review, I am not trying bully you or you business nor am I stating false claims. I am stating my experience as a licensed Nail Tech and Spa manager who has also consulted spa business owners in the industry, and has been serviced as well by competitors in our industry. M.Vince Nail provides a beautiful ambiance, however, unfortunately that where it stops! Your services are indeed subpar for your pricing, your management and tech communication with your customers are lacking. I stand by this review as a professional in this industry. That said, I now have bandaids on 3 of my toes after getting a pedicure that left me bleeding due to the technician cutting too far into my cuticles.
