The server (who said she was also the manager) needs a little training on customer service. After waiting over an hour for our food (which was fine) we figured it would be busy over July 4th weekend, she had a hard time with us asking her to take one of the dishes off our bill. The order came out wrong, by the time they remade it we were all done eating (took at least another 20 minutes for that particular dish) we were ready to go but she was not about to side with the customer, challenged us over and over. Not very smart. Lost an excellent tipping customer for life. Can't say anything bad about the food, the rest of the meals and drinks were excellent but not enough to motivate me to go back, sadly. read more

Still one of my favorite places for brunch. Even though I have to drive 35 minutes north and more than likely wait another 30-45 minutes to be seated it is worth it. Their mimosas are delicious, their staff is always friendly, and their food is delicious. We ate here for brunch on Saturday, and there was a 45 minute wait, so we waited with the rest. We walked the Grower's Market in the interim. Well worth the wait! Tiny little restaurant - maybe the dining area is 14x14? Fresh organic ingredients, good flavours, friendly staff. Self-serve coffee and the hodge podge of coffee mugs is an efficient touch! We had the homemade corned beef hash with 2 poached eggs and a BLT on an english muffin. I would try their scrambles and their soup next time. The waitress had this blah-zay feel where she did not care if we had to wait for everything we ordered. I would give this place a better review if food and drinks came quicker. I had the biscuits with sausage gravy. It was all home are and very yummy. Biscuits were huge and really needed more gravy on them...I will know to ask next time and to only get a half order instead of a full order. I tried to take my family here because I had heard great things about it, but we didn't end up getting to try the food. :( We tried going on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 or so. I had called in advance to see how busy it was and was told the wait would probably be around 30 minutes and that it was first come first serve so I we needed to head down and put our name on the wait list. We arrived and put our name on the list and there were quite a few names ahead of us. We had a party of 5 adults (1 in a wheel chair) and 2 babies and we waited for an hour and 20 minutes and the whole time they kept seating smaller parties ahead of us. I understand that this is normal sometimes, but they had seated so many parties ahead of us at tables that we could have been seated at. When my dad approached a woman working there to ask if they would be able to accommodate our party, she was not very friendly and told us she was seating based on the order of the list which we pointed out was obviously not true as many names below ours had been crossed out and seated already. I'm very disappointed. I guess moral of the story is don't come here if you have a party of more than 2-3 people (or don't mind waiting several hours to be seated.) I also heard a customer who had been seated for a while asking when their food would be out and one of the waitresses saying that there were 4 tickets ahead of them, and I'm assuming they had already been waiting a long time. Hopefully this place improves their business practices soon. read more

My boyfriend and I came here as it was recommended by locals and we were passing through on a road trip and wow it did not disappoint! I had the huevos rancheros and he had the corned beef hash and they were both amazing. Best huevos rancheros I have ever had there were so many flavors in it and the corned beef hash had real beef and tasted so fresh. The ambience was also great as they had a cute little outside area to sit that felt like you were having brunch in a little garden. They also have great mimosa flavors and self serve coffee outside and inside. We have been here many times and each time is fantastic! The staff are kind and professional. The dishes are unique tasty and fresh. So far my favorites are the chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles, and their fish tacos. We have also enjoyed their brunch champagnes and they are very tasty. I believe we did a mix of grapefruit and mango. Yum! We have eaten indoors, outdoors patio and taken food to go. Of course my favorite is dining on their patio with many flowers, greenery and umbrellas for shade. I wish they were open later for dinners. If you are passing through Grants Pass on the 5Freeway I recommend stopping by here for breakfast, brunch or late lunch but they do close at 3pm! Enjoy! read more

Visited during the Thanksgiving weekend. Just a fast stop on our way to Medford. Fast stop? Not so fast stop. It was super packed and there was a waiting list. Anyway, I was told this is the place to go if your wanting organic/ GMO free food. Very eclectic. Kind of reminded me of a few cafes in Portland. This place was super small and seating was tight. Service was nice enough, but was unsure about how long the wait would be. She told us something may pop up in 10 min. Waited for about 20 min. We were able to get a small table on the wall. Did I say it was super tight seating? Yeah, my chair was so close to the other people seated behind me, I was afraid to move because I knew I'd bump into them. Way too tight. I ordered a half order of biscuits and mushroom gravy with potato latkas on the side. My hubby ordered the veggie burger with potato ball latkas. Waited another 15 min for food to arrive. About average. Food was hot and fresh. Tasted really good. The only thing that was annoying besides the tight seating.....the FLIES!!!! Wow...you needed a fly swatter to enjoy your meal. Flies in your hair, on your face, in your eye. Anyway, maybe I'll be back after a winter storm rolls through and kills the flies. read more

Although COVID is hampering everyone's dining experience Ma Mosa's doesn't disappoint. My wife and I sat outside in the sun insuring Corona virus didn't get us. We both had bloody Maria's to start with latke's DELICIOUS!! Mia had the mushroom biscuits and gravy BANGIN!!! And I had the special, breakfast pork tacos FUCKING SLAMMIN!!!!! All of the servers were on point with the COVID BS. At one point a parakeet flew up and was beggin for food, I was thinking that bird is fucked when winter hits. Bold statement: the best breakfast north of Cali and south of Salem is in...Grants Pass? Yup, you heard me right. I used to go on frequent work trips down to Medford and I'd always make it a point to go here on the drive-in/out. Everything is fresh, unique, and delicious. If this place were in Portland it would be noteworthy, and make top-10 lists...but it's in humble Grants Pass! My only critique is that the wait times are very long and the service is sometimes very disorganized and inconsistent. Food makes it worth it though, so I'm still awarding a 5-star. read more
