Great place for good brunch food! Haven't been disappointed and been a return customer for a year now.

Ma Mosa's a lovely little brunch place. It's absolutely adorable, the waitress was far sweeter and hospitable than any I've encountered without being formal, and the food was pretty good, too. :) There's and inside area, but it's pretty small. The outside patio is where it's at. It's fenced with plants and lush shrubbery. All the little tables are cute wood picnic benches, but finished so they're nice and smooth with umbrellas to shade from the sun. Coffee and tea are complimentary and self-serve. There's even a giant chalk board wall outside for kids to color on while waiting for food. I chose to eat here because it's tagged as vegan breakfast, which is really difficult to find, but I actually had a lot of options! I'd definitely recommend - anything from waffles and pancakes to coconut milk rice porridge and everything in between. They have a ton of freshly squeezed juices, and everything is local and fresh. 4 stars because the food was pretty average, but the restaurant was stellar. read more

The food was good, but I don't know about for the price. I got the special, which was a bacon Benedict with kale and sweet onions. Potatoes were a bit salty, but still decent. Benedict hollandaise was very good. We waited 40 mins for our food after sitting down, which is why I'm giving it one less star. We came on a busy Sunday and waited 45 mins before even being seated. Which was fine. But we didn't expect a 40 min wait for the food. read more

In fairness, I want to say we have only been here once. The food and drinks were pretty awesome. The staff was crazy friendly and fun...ny. This is an active, lively and happy place. However, when we walked in we were shocked how small and crowded it was. But, we decided to give it a try anyway. I am glad we did because the food and service really was awesome. Sadly, we wont be back though. While sitting at a table for two we felt awkward. People were literally standing with their 'rear ends' in our faces (not joking) while they waited for a table. People were also waiting at the coffee 'bar' behind us and we couldn't help but feel like we were part of their conversation since they were standing over us. We felt completely crowded and uncomfortable. If you love being in crowded lively places this place is great for you. If you prefer a slower pace to sit and relax, then this is not a great place for you. read more

A wonderful little breakfast spot. Not your ordinary fare. Daily specials all looked delicious and although a little slow to come out of the kitchen well worth the wait! I had the corned beef hash with country potatoes and two poached eggs, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My girlfriend had the zucchini latkes with eggs scrambled and she remarked "that was probably the best breakfast I've ever had!" Friendly and attentive service, we sat outside in the patio area because inside the small number of tables were full. I would highly recommend this little place to anyone that likes local, fresh, delicious, interesting food. Can't wait to return if we ever pass through town again! read more

The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star rating is they're really spendy! But the food was good! My two friends and I split a pitcher of Mimosa it was $32 and we each only got one mimosa each...so that was kind of a bummer. I feel like for that cost we should have gotten more; however, they were tasty. I got a burrito, again it was expensive for the portion. For almost $16 I expected to take home leftovers. Lovely atmosphere when it's sunny. Tiny inside if it's not. Worth the price if you're out for a bougie girls day or not worried about spending a little extra to sit outside on a beautiful day. I love this place! However, getting a table can take a while sometimes. I waited 2 hours once The Mimosas and Brunch is always so good though! I love their biscuits and gravy! My #1 place for this meal, besides my Moms house, is here. I'm a picky eater. For my gravy option, I do half pork and half mushroom together I do the same on the poutine for gravy! I have been getting the breakfast hash here for years, for years! And over the past three years the hash is just a little more expensive each time I visit. Recently they charged me $16... the menu says $15.50 with sauce. The cost of $14 is really high, and the sauce is too much. A quarter of the sauce would have been better. There was so much sauce I couldn't even finish it and the biscuit I got with it was very greasy. Totally not worth the money. read more

Wow! wish this place was in Portland. Hand made food from local and other fine sources, mostly vegetarian but not shy about meat. Big portions. Melba had a poutine made with cottage fries instead of french, very nicely done. I had the biscuits and gravy--2 handmade biscuits, & when i couldn't decide between the mushroom & sausage gravies the waitress said why not some of each. Great service, & the place was hopping. The best place to eat in Grants Pass! Breakfast or lunch Ma Mosa's is so good. They make their food from scratch so it can take a bit longer, but totally worth the wait. Restaurant is super cute for dining in, plus outdoor seating and it's also easy to call ahead for take out. I am celiac and have no problem eating here. I love 'the staple' and tinga tacos, food is always fresh and there are lots of great options. I live out of town, but always plan on coming here when I'm in GP. read more

This place serves gourmet, planet-friendly food that is, most importantly, delicious! I've had the Huevos Rancheros (cotija cheese and a mole-like sauce mean extra deliciousness) and an eggs benedict special that were both fantastic. Can't say enough good things about this place. Second time visiting this popular breakfast/lunch spot. First piece of advice, this place is very popular so get there early (like right when they open) or be comfortable with sitting outside or waiting a little bit. I had one of their specials for breakfast, a frittata with their house made gluten free bread and it was amazing. Great portion sizes so come hungry! My wife had the chicken and waffles, that she highly recommended. Coffee is unlimited, self-serve from local Rogue Roasters . Mimosas are very good if you're able to spare some time for an eye-opener too. All in all, amazing spot. Will bring all our friends and family to this place that are visiting. read more

None of our group got the food we actually ordered. And they didn't do anything to accommodate us. Service was very slow.

The waitress sat us at a table with wet seats. We used our napkins to dry the seats and weren't offered more napkins. We waited twenty minutes for a server to take our order. Fourty-five minutes later, we received our food. It was bland and cold. Ate a few bites and we were done. My eight year old observed that there was too much flour in the pancakes... We waited 20 minutes for the check and had to track down the waitress to get it. Waitress asked if we wanted boxes, we said no thanks. Never asked how the food was . Would not recommend. read more

When driving down from Vancouver, or up from California, you need to pull off the freeway and come here! Now this is the flavor of true Oregon cuisine. Nothing fancy, fresh, local ingredients, very creative dishes. You may have to wait. Small place with a beautiful seating area outside. Worth the wait. I was so excited to try MA Mosa's! I was yelping them the night before. My husband and I have a baby so we wake up early. Already thrown off (moving from Vegas) that they open at 8 am we waited to get there as soon as they open. When we pull up at 7:50 there are already about 30 people in line. While we are waiting an older couple walk up as they are about to open and cut us in line( we thought maybe they were with another couple and definitely didn't think they would cut a couple with a tiny baby). They end up taking the last table and my husband casually calls the guy out about cutting line and he plays dumb. Then we explain to the waitress the situation and she was very uncaring. Food was bland. I got the biscuits and gravy had no sausage and very watery rue. Tasted like water with a slight amount of cream. My husband got corned beef hash which was more like a beef stew. One hour wait for food that cooks fast. I simply don't have the patience especially when I'm hungry! There are so many reviews about the long wait time how on earth can this not be corrected. Bummed this wasn't a great experience. You can fix this for all, do it management do it! Update a year later: I found some pretty great dishes that are vegan. Also the wait has greatly improved. Still slow but in the worth it slow category. Being vegan I have to order custom which can get pricey but ask them to help you not get an $18 burrito. A restaurant that is currently trendy to ooh and aah about, but the reality is a massive fail. I have visited this restaurant three times. I say "visited" because I have never actually gotten to eat here. The parking lot is non-existent; one must park in neighboring businesses parking areas, or far away in a public lot. The restaurant is tiny, and due to its trendiness, is always too crowded to wait inside when seating is full. The ambience is tantamount to being seated by a Denny's restroom door: loud, crowded and frenetic. When on one visit my dining partner and I were particularly determined to actually eat here, we parked three blocks away, stood in discomfort awaiting a clear table, and finally got to see a menu. What a disappointment! The selection was underwhelming and unimpressive. We stood up and walked away from our hard-earned table. I have never been tempted to return. If you're a hipster, you are obligated to rave about this restaurant. But if you're an independent thinker, there are better options in the Grants Pass Plaza area. This is a super cute, local spot, with delicious farm to table food. The drinks were equally amazing. We are from Texas and got this great recommendation from our Airbnb host and so glad we gave it a go. The outside seating area was lovely, so I recommend sitting outside if you can. Enjoy! read more
