It is a cute place but the staff took their time greeting us. I don't mind waiting for a table but it is nice to be acknowledged. The cocktails and the buffalo cauliflower were a miss but the remainder of the meal was pretty good.

Fantastic breakfast spot in Grants Pass. Worth the drive from 199 or I5. Everything they do is top notch. Was so tough to choose, but today I went with the basic Breakfast Burrito. So fresh and a great selection of hot sauces. The Joeys they keep behind the counter is the winner though!

So happy we decided to eat here. Plenty of options, especially GF and vegetarian. I didn't see the mocktail list until after I ordered the ginger beer :(. I would have ordered one of their homemade drinks. Next time!

So good! Specials made the day, great mimosas, great service. The outside dining area rocked.

1/2 order of breakfast shrimp and grits with a side latke. So very tasty!

Everything is incredible! We stopped in for breakfast on our road trip. Food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch. Loved the biscuits, grits, latke, and all the toppings. Service was perfect and caring. Outside dining is adorable! Highly recommend!

Service was great, food came out fast and it was delicious! It's a small cafe. We especially enjoyed the latkes and the biscuits with jam it was so buttery! We are just pass in through but I would recommend 100%.

House made hot honey chicken and waffles was out of this world good. Jalapeños inside the waffle next level step up. Fried chicken breast cooked perfection served with a delightful fried egg on top. The fresh sprout and pickled onion garnish got me tho. Props to the chef. PS this Bloody Mary made by the owner... and cappuccino can't wait to come back. Thanks guys!

I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare, asked for it on the rarer side since you never know with steak), and it came out perfect -- great char on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Exactly how it should be. Also... don't skip the specials on the chalkboard there's always something worth trying. And the crepe berqueno is AMAZINGGG -- seriously out of this world. In my opinion, it's the best savory crepe ever. I always customize mine by adding egg and avocado and it never misses. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The owner, Gab, is always there making sure everything runs smoothly, and you can tell he genuinely cares. Him and his son Brandon take great care of their guests and make you feel like more than just a customer. Service can be a little slower at times, but honestly... give them grace. They're balancing a busy spot, connecting with locals, and creating a really welcoming vibe. It feels lived-in, not rushed -- and that's part of the charm. Nothing but love for this place. ‍

What an amazing experience at DASSH Bakery in Grants Pass!…read more From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the owners, a husband-and-wife team who clearly pour their hearts into this bakery. Everything is made fresh, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the Local Bagel, and it was phenomenal. It had bacon, aioli, and a variety of fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. I honestly can't remember everything that was on it because I was too busy enjoying it! The bagel itself was fresh-made and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ham bagel sandwich with cheddar, ham, and honey mustard, and it was just as fantastic. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. For a sweet treat, we had the blueberry scone, and it was perfection--flavorful, tender, and clearly made from scratch. Their coffee menu is impressive as well. They can make just about any latte you want and offer a great selection of syrups, including cookie butter, vanilla, lavender, and many more. They also have plenty of milk options, including oat milk, almond milk, whole milk, and regular milk. The bakery itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very inviting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating available, including two two-top tables and a larger six-top table, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your food and coffee. The service was impeccable. Since the bakery is run by the owners themselves, things may take a little longer during busy times, but that wasn't an issue at all for us. The care, attention, and quality they put into every order are well worth the wait. If you're in Grants Pass, DASSH Bakery is an absolute must-visit. Fresh-made food, outstanding coffee, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful owners who truly care about their customers. Easily a five-star experience, and we'll definitely be back! Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. Our seating was in the bar downstairs which was very busy and noisy which was ok for 2 of us unfortunately 2 of our party were deaf and that was an issue for visiting. Our dinners: clam linguine, small clams in butter wine sauce was good, lots of broth and noodles could have had more clams. Dinner salads were great, big, crisp and fresh. Hubby had the meatballs with whipped potatoes, not a big meal but very tasty. I often buy ribeye steaks at the Cartwright's market and they are wonderful. Cartwright's owns Taprock restaurant so I figured that's the steak they'd serve but no it was thin and tough like a top round steak, it was cooked med rare that I ordered. It wasn't cheap, won't order again. Margaritas were very good. Service was excellent and there was lots of hired help in all areas. Our waitress was attentive, personable and we enjoyed her service.
