    Preparing for paint job

    Trust the process, that is what I have to tell you about the experience I had with Maaco. They were open to me bringing the car with all the body panels removed so they could paint as much of the body as possible. Then they painted each individual panel and they came out great, I was able to put the car back at my leisure at home. When I first picked up the car, I was not impressed, the paint looked like excess orange peel. I looked online and saw that this is not the paint but the clear coat as it cures. Two months into the paint job, the clear coat has been doing its thing, curing and getting smooth and stretching. I'm quite impressed at the quality of work Maaco completed on my vehicle. It is not perfect, but that is expected from Maaco, it is clearly listed on the estimate and their website. If you want perfection, go somewhere else and pay 5K more. However, the quality of work I got on my 4Runner far exceeded my expectations and I do not have any regrets with getting my vehicle painted at Maaco.

    Last review for today (this is the most I've ever written in one day). Got my baby painted here and I'm extremely happy w the work they did. The harsh Temecula sun will mess up your paint really badly esp if your car is dark colored. My baby had skin rashes for the longest time, but Maaco did a fantastic job making her look beautiful again... no more skin rashes!! The staff are very good at giving quotes and I got a discount too, I just forgot what for lol but the dude said he'd give me one. It took them a little over a week bc they had a ton of cars at the time. Great value!! The pics are before & after so you could see the difference. I highly recommend Maaco for your baby's paint needs!!

    Went all good did good like they said good prices compared to everyone else if you got messed up paint or got a bodykit that needs to be painted these guys the one to tapn with just get one good terms with them and theyll get u right

    Had my truck repainted 9 months ago. Color change from navy blue to white. The quality of work compared to the price I paid was absolutely worth it. Yes there are some minor corrections I would take it back to fix if I had the time " Marc the owner let me know they would repair anything I noticed at no charge if I decided to bring it back". Yes they did take a little longer then they told me at, and I did receive update calls every week of where they were at with the vehicle.I did notice when I dropped the vehicle off they had a completely full lot so when it took longer then expected I could understand that. Overall extremely happy and I would recommend.

    So as I explained in my previous post how horrible this company, representatives and customer support is my option has not changed. Through this app they requested I send an results to them explaining my issue with pictures, I did snd now 6+ months later absolutely NO RESPONSE. Do NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. If you want more proof of poor workmanship text me.

    Well, now I do not recommend this place. They did not take responsibility for the job they did. They didn't offer me no discount and I would not recommend this place to no one. They did a horrible job. Make sure you do your research. They try to hurry up and speed the process on trying to give you the car and they end up making mistakes. This is the process of you getting your car within one to two weeks. They're very careless and they do not take responsibility for their reactions. When I asked for them to fix the bumper on where they were the gaps, they told me that that was all they can do this type of Mickey Mouse job. Do not go there if you want a Mickey Mouse job. There are 100% trash and no they didn't give me no discount and they do not listen to the customer at all. I do not recommend this body shop to no one....

    Stopped in and got an estimate seemed like a great deal was Trying to surprise my son for his 16 th B day by painting the truck we just finished building . Dropped the truck off and was told 12-14 business days , after two weeks I stopped in and the truck was painted but they said they had to repaint a fender as it had fish eyes , no problem I waited another week no response so I called and they said the fender didn't match after repaint so they would have to repaint the whole truck . After 1 month I got a call 4:30 pm truck would be ready to pick up May16th after 2:30 pm . May 16th 12pm I called and told manager I could not pick truck up before closing but was Off the 17th and could be there 8 am he responded with I'll have to charge you $100 for overnight storage I said after having my truck two weeks over the expected time of completion he said yes that's our policy you signed the paper .... I said ok I'll be there before closing left work ( lost more then $100 in wages) got a Uber from Menifee to Temecula location and walked around the truck to find the Valance above the bumper below the grill had never been painted , they responded with I can remove it myself and bring it in they'll paint in one day and I can pick it up ( probably wouldn't have been upset other then they tried to charge me $100 for overnight storage for a vehicle that was not completed ) they wanted full payment which I paid knowing I have to remove a body piece and bring back for paint . The paint is orange peel looks good from 10 feet I didn't expect show quality but it looked better the first time I seen it before they had to repaint . They sanded the rocker panels some areas to bare metal and did not spray them with paint I'll include pictures ... for the price I didn't expect a show paint job but expected all panels painted and all areas they sanded I also didn't expect to be threatened with over night storage ($100) charge after they were two weeks past completion and didn't paint all panels . For a 16 year old boy driving to high school it looks good but very rushed and not complete . Also they agreed to remove emblems circled with yellow marker wrote trash removed two left the Third on the tailgate probably took longer to tape off then remove !!! I'm not upset it's what I expected but there communication could be better with update as I had to keep calling and stop by I would have preferred they contacted me with updates rather then me stopping in and calling once a week.

    I cannot express how pleased I am with the customer service and professionalism I received from the Temecula MAACO. Kieth and Michael went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was completed adequately. The body work and paint job came out better then I expected. The entire team at the shop did some fine work. There are some imperfections but my vehicle is 20 years old and it just needed a subtle refresh and I'm very happy with the work and price I was quoted. I will highly recommend this shop. If your looking for professional, kind, quality customer service, MAACO Temecula does not disappoint. Stay safe and be well! Thank you!

    The paint looks good considering the cost. My 1 Star is for the service. Front desk and guy who gave me the estimate was really rude and acted like I was wasting his time. Then after I dropped the truck off and picked it up - I was getting texts from a technician who worked there ?? He got my number from my paperwork I assume. Super shady. And when I told a manager about it who told me he'd call me back after handling it - I never heard back. Wouldn't ever go back or recommend anyone. Terribly unprofessional. No one mentioned it before we took the truck in or after, that every single emblem from the vehicle would be missing too. I called back after I was home and noticed and the guy was super rude about it and said they said they usually break. Would have been nice if I had a heads up on it or they mention it as a possibly before hand. Also, I told the guy the parking break was broken and not to use it and to please let them know. Picked it up, it had the parking brake set and drove home on it (the notification doesn't work showing its on and it gets locked) and I'm sure they drove with it on too.

    They did a great job on my 1993 Jeep. They did it in about a week and it was done just right no overspray and looking beautiful.

    Crash Champions attempted to repair my car instead of recognizing that it should have been declared…read morea total loss from the very first visit. They kept bringing me back to the shop for three months, only for the insurance company to ultimately deem the vehicle unsafe to drive and a total loss. I took the car to Crash Champions a second time, following the insurance company's instructions, to give them an opportunity to correct their mistake two months into this ordeal. Instead of fixing the problem, the shop attempted to conceal what had become an irreparable issue. During this attempt, my service writer called to update me, and I asked directly if I'd be satisfied with the work this time. Her response was that if I didn't like it, I could just bring the car back in. That shouldn't be the standard. Repairs should be done right the first time. Getting basic updates was a struggle the entire time. I'd call and be told the person I needed was in a meeting or at lunch, with hours passing and no callback. Twice I drove to the shop in person just to check on the status. What's worse, they tried to give the car back to me multiple times when it wasn't even safe to drive, putting myself and my family at risk. It was clear their team wasn't capable of handling this level of repair, and each "fix" was more of a band-aid than a real repair. After the third failed attempt, the manager, Ray, called to apologize. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the service writer, calling her "too green," despite the fact that she wasn't the one doing the actual bodywork or paint. He then offered to repair the car again and personally cover my rental and repair costs, basically asking to handle it outside of insurance. I declined. This experience was exhausting from start to finish. Crash Champions seems built around quick, low-cost patches instead of proper repairs or evaluations, and in my case their negligence cost me months of my time, immeasurable stress, and potentially worse had I not taken my car elsewhere for a second opinion and found out the vehicle was unsafe.
