Curious to see what Royal Fried Chicken was about, we stoped in tonight and placed a to go order. To sample their menu we ordered wings, tenders, a steak and cheese sandwich and every one of their sides (mac and cheese, beans, mashed potatoes, fries, coleslaw, and tostones.) I also noticed other cars who had to pull over and a line of people in the restaurant. The food itself was just OK. The chicken was crispy, but drier than I expected. The fries were also dry and overall disappointed with the meal. It appears that they need new leadership that can help with time management. How the staff manages the drive through line is very impressive and their internal systems of communication are spot on. I have no idea how they do it, but they make it seem effortless and the team members are polite and friendly. I did order myself a seasonal (cherry berry) sun joy (a half sweet tea, half lemonade drink) and it was delicious.
