Ive had enough bad hair cuts to last a lifetime. I keep my hair pretty short nowadays and unfortunately for me i have a bunch of cowlicks that make my hair challenging. OMG i just figured out why they call them that. It looks like a cow licked your head in one spot so now your hair is all goofy there. Anyway, these awesome folks really know how to cut mens hair. I love it. I think they specialize in women's styles mostly cause they have a kitchen dedicated to just mixing up specialty hair color stuff that i don't image many dudes need. I asked if I had booked the wrong appointment could I changed and rebooked but they would have then charged me $80. My blonde pulls VERY warm and is stubborn. Combine that with the greys and other new challenges as I age and I feel like a hard case. I have been getting my hair done at Mabel Salon for about a year, and love it there. The atmosphere is great and the stylists are even better. Recently, Mabel Salon did the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. They brought a whole team to our Airbnb and even did my mother's and Nan's hair as well. We were all done on time and looked phenomenal. My hair and makeup lasted all night, even with a lot of happy tears shed. Wonderful place! So very happy I gave this place a try, as an elderly lady I was a bit concerned it might be too much of a hipster salon, but it was so very welcoming with such a sweet staff.
