I highly recommend Tiffany at Mabel Salon!! She did an amazing job on my haircut, color and gloss. It was my first time going to Mabel Salon and it was a very welcoming and relaxing experience. Tiffany is really kind and caring and listened to what I had in mind and also offered some great suggestions! I have some curly hair under an outer layer of straighter hair and it can be unruly! :) She suggested some light layering to even everything up and ended up creating a lovely textured lob. I also love the rich brown color & gloss she applied - it made my locks super shiny. I always think the true test of a haircut is how it feels and looks a few days after the salon when you have to style it on your own. Tiffany's haircut is easy to style myself and I love it! If you are considering booking an appointment w/ Tiffany I would do it now as the salon is very popular! And on a side note - the space itself is beautifully designed and very clean. From the minute you walk into Mabel Salon you are treated with kindness and feel so welcomed. Its truly a fun warm lovely atmosphere. I was fortunate enough to have Stephanie work her magic. She is phenomenal. So intuitive and talented. I was not happy with my last color elsewhere and it was hard to even look in the mirror at my hair after searching I came to Mabel hoping for a miracle and Stephanie met and exceeded. I am the type of person who hates spending the money on getting my hair cut, so i just avoid it all together. I decided it was time to try looking for a salon in tucson, I booked with LJ and she did such an incredible job on my hair!! She didn't make me feel like my request couldn't be fulfilled, she didn't make me feel bad about how my hair looked when i came in, she understood my relationship with my hair and gave me a cut to suit my lifestyle! I am absolutely obsessed, it was well worth the money! The salon is very nice and clean, they offered drinks when I came in. After 3 years of living in Tucson and struggling to find a great reliable hair stylist, I won big when booking with Sarah! I used the online booking service which was super easy. I chose a balayage and haircut but ended up needing only a partial which she changed so I didn't get charged for full. My haircut is fire and exactly (finally) what I was looking for. She was wonderful! The entire staff was very friendly and inviting. The salon itself was clean and beautiful with easily accessible parking. Each stylist has their own space which is much less stressful for me than huge open floor salons. Highly recommend! read more

My first haircut at The Mabel Salon with Jarrett was a good experience all the way around. First, he is a short hair specialist, my cut and style is perfect! I'm older, use a cane, have arthritis and was concerned about not being able to get around as well. But, I was treated great respect, kindness and consideration. Jarrett even helped me out! The salon is nice, relaxed and earthy. It will be my home salon from now on. Though I do wish they would put up a hand rail front and back. The ramp in back is steep. I cant speak to all the personnel, but Sarah is fantastic! She took my vision and made it a reality. This coming from a man that is always apprehensive about changing their hair cutting professionals as everyone knows they are not all the same. Sarah is also highly personable and easy going. This salon is a little gem! This was my first time there and I was warmly welcomed by Caitlin who was my hairdresser. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and then she explained how she was going to proceed. After a relaxing shampoo which included a scalp massage, she proceeded to cut my hair. I saw Cassandra for a lash lift and tint and she did an AMAZING job on my thin, blonde lashes. She made the whole experience very comfortable and I could tell she genuinely cared about giving me the best result possible. I'm writing this a few weeks later and my lashes still look great. I requested a haircut. My stylist was Jarrett. He was awesome. I was very pleased. He was very professional and listened to my concerns. I have very long hair and was nervous that I would walk out with a much shorter length. That was not the case. Jarrett truly listened and cut my hair the way I requested.
