I already talked to a man 3 months ago to stop texting and calling me. A woman just texted me and after I wrote back saying they are violating the law it's a $500 fine they block me. I call the dealership a man who I barely could understand started laughing at me and wanted to know my business as to why I need a manager. He sent me to a director not the manger who he sent me to an answer machine. Stop harassing me. Also the top portion of the text isn't from me it came from them they signed me up for texts. Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), car dealerships cannot send marketing or sales texts without your prior express written consent. This applies even if you talked to them once months ago. The lack of communication and sense of urgency related to my recent service ... never more. Appt was set for Thursday afternoon, 2:30. This is my work vehicle and I wanted to minimize downtime as much as possible. I was aware it probably would not be on the rack till Friday. After the weekend rolls around and it's Monday afternoon and I still haven't heard anything from the service advisor. I called the main line and left message as well as on the cell phone given to me... never got a call back. On Tuesday afternoon, I decided to drop by the location in person and spoke with the service manager regarding being ignored by the service advisor. He picked up the phone and was able to get an answer in 15 seconds... the truck was finally put on the rack on Tuesday. So I wasted Friday & Monday not working due to the dealer ignoring my vehicle for 3 full days. What is the purpose of an appointment if they will just work on it whenever they want? While on the rack they notice the seals on the rear diff were leaking. I authorized all work to be completed. No call Wed. Left messages Thursday. Still no reply. I had to drop by the dealership again to get an update on my truck. Was told it was being finished and will be available Friday morning. Friday morning I did get a call from my service advisor saying the tech heard noises from the front differential while doing the final road test. Gave permission to pull the tires and investigate. They found the front differential needed to be rebuilt. Gave permission again. Parts ordered on Friday but would not get till Monday. I was finally able to pick up my truck on Wednesday, almost 2 weeks after my initial appointment. My truck is my living. At the very least, the dealer owes me compensation for at least 3 days of lost work due to my vehicle just sitting without anyone even touching it. My 2025 Toyotal Cammry was hit from behind and I had it towed to Mac Haik Ford. Mac had my car for 3 entire months and charged the insurance company $25K to fix it (the max the insurance would cover). I observed several cosmetic flaws that I returned to have addressed and they did not fix them to my satisfaction (i.e. trunk would not close properly, missing housing unit protecting the lights under the trunk hood, missing paint spots, etc...). I finally drove the car away swearing I would never use Mac Haik again. I send dozens of emails and tried to contact management about the issues, but they never returned my calls. Then the real problems started.... 2 weeks later I was hit again in the same area and this time brought the car to Toyota to repair. They took 1 look at the Mac Haik repair job and refused to fix my car! They pointed out numerous flaws in workmanship and standards. They told me not to drive the car for safety reasons. They recommended I take the car back to Mac Haik for repair of the repairs. As proof of their position, they drafted me a letter stating the previous repairs were not done correctly. I had no choice but to have the car towed BACK to Mac Haik to fix the old botched repair job as well as the damaged caused by this recent accident. This time, I reached out to the corporate office and tried to find the right people to complain too. As of this writing, I have heard nothing back from them! Car problems are already frustrating, but even more so when the "experts" can't even do the job right. I needed my entire transmission replaced. The day after getting my car back my car began smoking and stopped on me and had to be towed back to the dealership. The service advisor then informed me that the technician who worked on my car failed to complete his job, leaving my headlights disconnected as well as missed steps with the transmission itself which caused my car to overheat and stop on me that next day. Furthermore, the service advisor Cyrus then asked of me to leave him out of the technicians mistakes when I write my review.... Bold of him to assume his customer service wasn't also poor. Now, the second time my car was given back to me, these underbody flaps were now hanging. Stephen the man tried to tell me they would install it but I had to pay the fees. Eventually, Stephen agreed to refund me 499 for the Low Jack, but before I could even get home he changed to only refund 399 and lied again by telling me this was the cost on my contract (it wasn't). Mac haik Ford sold me a lemon. This car is a 2017 Ford fusion I recently got the transmission replaced through warranty. They were the only people that worked on my car and this was last month. My warranty goes out at 120,000 miles and I'm just over 120,000 miles currently and my engine blew out while driving Right at the 120,000 mile mark. I've been calling and all they do is forward the call to someone that's not there. I'm probably going to have to do a voluntary repo because I'm tired of. I purchased a 2021 Ford F-150 STX from this dealership( 10333 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77024) and was told by the sales representative that the spray-in bedliner included a lifetime warranty and could be resprayed when it wears down. Recently, after 5 years I brought my truck in because the coating has become thin over time. I made the effort to prepare for the appointment, including removing my bed cover and even canceling work to bring the vehicle in. However, the service department refused to honor the warranty, stating it only applies if the liner is cracked or peeling. This is not what was explained to me at the time of purchase, and I was never provided written warranty terms clarifying these limitations. A bedliner typically wears down--it doesn't just crack or fall off under normal use. I also spoke with Roy, who handles the bedliner work, but the request was still denied. This was a frustrating experience and feels misleading, especially considering the time and effort I put in based on what was originally promised. I've purchased four vehicles from Mac Haik over the last 15 years. While their sales department and selection of vehicles are great, their service department is abysmal. One of my current vehicles, a 2021 Edge ST, has a major safety recall and it currently has 33k miles on it. I dropped off my vehicle for the recall and reported two other issues to the service advisor, namely TSB 21-2081 and TSB 21-2389. A week later, the service adviser Carlos Rivera still has my vehicle in a diagnostics queue with no action taken. When you purchase a vehicle, you're not just purchasing the Brand name, You're also purchasing the service that comes with it. Speaking of, I also purchased Ford's premium service plan to extend the warranty to 7 years. I expected better service, considering my loyalty as a customer To the same dealership, And my brand loyalty to Ford. I paid out of pocket just to find out they installed a faulty part and acknowledged that the part was bad . For over a year trying to get them to fix the part and the management telling me that they need to do another diagnostic test and pay 190 for the test also another 190 for the engine to be test saying a bad catalytic converter can't cause damage to my engine. Shady dealer offered to buy my 2017 100D Tesla Model S for 24k based on tires and brake inspection??? Told them I did not want to drive 3hrs only for them to try to low ball me as I just had wheel and tires put on and the brakes services at Tesla. They said no problem would buy full asking price. I drove up there this AM. Only inspection done was buying manager drives around parking lot less than 5 minutes. I wait while he sits in glass office, then comes back and says due to the car needing brakes and they cannot work on Tesla Brakes at the Ford service center that advertises working on all makes and amodels that they would offer me 4k less than asking? 1 the car has 58k on the ODO brakes last 150k-200k in these, 2 I just had the brakes and tires services and in case of the tires replaced. 3 Unlike Ford Tesla believes in right to repare and makes all their service docs available to anyone for free. 4 you cannot actually check brakes without pulling a tire, measuring rotor thickness against tech specs and checkign pad. We have been customers at Mac Haik for years but no more after this most recent experience. They replaced my daughter's brakes a year ago. After that, we repeatedly reported that they were loud and didn't feel right when braking. Every time they said it all looked fine, the last time as of 7000 miles ago. We purchased a brand-new 2024 Ford Expedition Max from Mac Haik Ford on June 25, 2025. Within just six weeks - and before the vehicle even reached 900 miles - the dashboard displayed a "charging system service now" error message. While the vehicle was ultimately repaired, the experience with Ford left us extremely disappointed. When I called to make an appointment for the warranty repair, I was told there were no loaner vehicles and was told there was an Enterprise rental located near the dealership. Before renting, I confirmed with the Ford Hotline that my rental costs would be covered. Trusting that assurance, I chose a smaller, less expensive vehicle, as I did not want to take advantage of Ford. Afterward, I was initially told by Ford that reimbursements were limited to $40/day, and then later told I would not be reimbursed at all because the rental was not a Ford brand. At no point was I informed of either restriction by the dealership or the Ford Hotline. On top of that my calls to the dealership's GM went unanswered and I received no follow-up despite multiple cases being filed with the Ford Hotline. My family is still out $538 due to warranty work on a brand new Ford vehicle, even though I was explicitly told via the Ford Hotline the rental would be covered. The bottom line is that I trusted Mac Haik to sell my family and I a brand-new vehicle that did not come with hidden headaches such as corrosion inside of the connector and grill shutter actuator. I trusted that my three young kids and I were driving around in a safe vehicle that had been inspected prior to being sold. Took my 2021 Expedition in for a routine oil change & tire rotation. Lug nuts were not secured on my back tire and while driving on I-10 my car was shaking violently. Luckily, I pulled over & called for a tow. One lug nut was left and a bolt completely broken off. The tow driver said I was lucky, he has seen bad things happen from this. I would not recommend. Buncha B*llsh*t - It costs $173 for them to plug a code scanner into the truck and diagnose why the check engine light is on!! At the end I payed $173 for Mac Haik Ford to MISDIAGNOSE my truck and said it was a catalytic converter issue. Read on to see how they managed to screw up. 1 star because its the lowest amount I can give. 1 additional star because Kevin the service rep was very prompt, courteous and he had great communications with me. My truck's extended warranty covers me up to 150,000 miles. Of course when you buy the truck, they'll upsell you on how great the extended warranty is and "you don't want to risk it" etc etc. Cool, I got the extended warranty. Fast forward to last month where I had two issues on the truck to figure out, 1) the check engine line was turned on and 2) I knew I had a leak somewhere since I can smell smoke coming from somewhere. Since I have extended warranty on my truck I went to Mac Haik since it was just down the highway from me. Kevin was my rep and let me know that my two issues (Listed above) are two different departments responsibility. Since we're not sure if the leak is what is causing the check engine light to go off, I would have to pay a diagnosis fee of $173 for a technician to see what its about. THEN see if its related. If its NOT related, then I would have to pay ANOTHER $173 fee to have the other department figure out where the leak is. It also could have been possible that their SUPER and MIGHTY extended warranty they sold me may not cover the leak fix. This some major b*llsh*t. I reluctantly agreed to see what the check engine light is about and Kevin made me initial right next to the admission paperwork to agree to that stupid @ss fee (You know sh*t is about to go down when people do that). I leave the truck and get a call back later to say the check engine light was about my catalytic converter. Kevin says extended warranty won't pay for it and it would be somewhere between $1200-$1500 bucks. Right now catalytic converters are on back order since people be stealing it. Nothing they can do to make them produce it faster states Kevin. He also told me he'll send the truck to the other department and see if the leak can be identified and see if extended warranty will cover it. Luckily, Kevin called back few days later to say the leak was fixed and the warranty did cover it and I just got to pay $100 bucks my "deductible". (Which in its own right a b*llsh*t thing too). However I was on my own for the catalytic converter since its back ordered. Payed my $273 and took my truck back. I took my truck to chinatown and asked a mechanic to take care of it. Turns out it WASN'T my catalytic converter but rather my engine thermometer that needed to be replaced. Chinatown mechanic charged me total $600, which is way less than the $1500 Kevin told me I could possibly get charged. It could have been covered with warranty as well. Well Mac Haik managed to mess that part up. Ridiculous. Does a restaurant charge you a fee to order meal? Do Librarians charge you a fee to help look for a book? Then why the hell does a STEALERship charge you a fee to see why the engine light is on. You don't have to rationalize, its stupid. Do yourself a favor, visit AutoZone and have them plug in their code scanner for FREE if all you need to know is why your engine light is on. read more

I bought the car on December 31, 2024, and I did not get my title and license plates until August of 2025. I was forced to file a claim with the Texas DMV who found Mac Haik Ford guilty of multiple violations. I asked them to clean up the mess and they said it wasn't their job. Talked to the service manager inside and he acted like I was trying to scam them into doing a free detail. My car arrived dusty but in good shape -- I got it back looking like it had been in a junk yard for 5 years. My hands smelled like grease and the knobs were slippery as snot. Took my Ford F-150 King Ranch in for some body work due to a Minor accident. When picking up on May 27, 2025 after the Memorial Holiday, which was ruined. I drove four hours to this dealership to look at a 21 F150 Platinum. The salesman was great (Christos) and I made a deal on the truck with the intention of returning in two days to drive it back home. Christos gave me a guarantee from his manager that no deposit was needed to hold the truck and that the purchase order was enough. The next day I work out everything with the bank, and my bank representative calls the dealership and speaks with Sebastian who guarantees the deal is done. The same day I added the vehicle to my insurance policy and provided the identification to the dealership. Thirty minutes before I am supposed to leave the next day (the day I told the dealership I would be back to get the truck) I receive a call from the finance manager informing me that they had sold the truck to someone who had walked in. When I informed the finance manager that he must be mistaken because the deal was already done, he confirmed that the truck was sold out from underneath me. This was extremely disappointing because the dealership had given me deceptive information (a guarantee that the truck would be held) and preferred a customer who financed in house through their lenders over someone who had their own financing. I will make sure that myself or anyone I know will never use Mac Haik, and I will be filing a formal complaint with Ford corporate. This was unacceptable. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle at Mac Haik. I was very impressed with my salesperson, Daniel Mclerie. I was not sure what make and model to purchase, and visited other dealerships over the course of the last few weeks. Daniel stood out given his knowledge of the Ford models, empathy for my concerns, answers for my questions, prompt responses and general efficiency.
