Update! I went to another dentist and they told me that I have open margins where the crowns were put on. Very sloppy job done by Mr Vo. Also I was told that I needed deep cleaning which was never recommended by these so called doctors. I paid 3,000 up front and they couldn't give me quality work! I knew I needed a lot of work done and mr Vo did not do his job by telling me everything was fine when it wasn't at all. This is negligence! overcharging me for shitty work! Dr. Lange and his team took wonderful care of me today as a new patient with a serious situation. Angela was my first contact, and got me in within a day. Paperwork was a breeze online. Hayley was able to fit me in for a cleaning prior to seeing Dr. Lange, it was the most comfortable cleaning I've ever had even with an abscess on my gum. Dr. Lange assessed the 2D x-ray, and then used a 3D x-ray to show the extent of bone damage. He explained perfectly what should be done, and let me decide. Alondra assisted and was spot on throughout the procedure and gave helpful recovery tips. Dr. Lange was able to extract the tooth, remove the infection, apply bone graft and insert implant post today. I am so grateful. My sister in law recommended the office, our niece was a hygienist there prior moving, I can't thank her enough for the recommendation. If you are looking for a caring, thorough, modern equipment, and thoroughly discussed options this is the dentist and dental office for you. I'm a very happy camper. I hate going to the dentist. Not because I'm scared, but because I despise mouth and dental related pains. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, as I can sit in a tattoo chair for 4 hours without flinching (one of my tattoo artists even called me crazy once for being able to sit still for so long :'D ), however, dental pain for whatever reason is difficult for me to endure. Keeping that in mind, the staff at MacArthur Dental Arts gave me an experience what was virtually painless and pleasant. So I am not exaggerating when I say that my visit to this dental office was the best I've had in my life. From the greeting at the front desk to when I checked out, everyone I met and who took care of me was kind, gentle, and made me feel comfortable. Alondra took care of me for my X-rays. This is the part I hate the most. Having to jam those tools in your mouth at uncomfortable and awkward angles can inflict a high degree of pain on a patient depending on what office you go to, and I've had some pretty terrible experiences with this in the past. I don't know what Alondra did, but she worked her magic and gave me an X-ray experience that was almost painless. Why can't all dental offices be this gentle?? I always thought that the pain comes with all X-rays no matter what before this. Nancy took me to her chair after for a dental cleaning. It had been a bit longer than the recommended every 6 months for a cleaning for me because dental offices were closed because of covid, along with other things that were going on in my life. I could tell Nancy knew as she has many years of dental hygiene experience under her belt, however she didn't judge me for it and gave me a spotless and thorough cleaning. Her personality was also very warm, friendly and welcoming, which I didn't really realize mattered so much before, but it really does when you have someone poking around in your mouth for an extended period of time. Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Vo saw me to assess my teeth, gums, etc. and consulted me about some work I wanted done on my teeth after I had finished my orthodontic treatment at another office in NYC. He gave me information about what options I had to fix my small lateral incisors as well as post orthodontics teeth whitening. He was very nice, informative, patient, and not pushy like some other dentists I've had in the past. I appreciated that I didn't feel rushed, especially since I drove over an hour to come to the office. There isn't a single negative thing I can say about this dental office. They are wonderful. Dr. Lange and Nancy are the best! I haven't been to the Dentist in 2 years and I was a little worried I would have "pandemic teeth" eeek! So when I scheduled my teeth cleaning, I wanted a more experienced and aggressive teeth cleaning, Nancy was my girl. I told her to not be shy and "get in there" when cleaning my teeth. Luckily, I did not have "pandemic teeth". Whew... I have always loved going to the Dentist and I only saw Dr. Lange once before the pandemic. I had another Dentist that I was seeing for 25 years until she retired so it was hard to find a Dentist I feel comfortable with and can do a more aggressive teeth cleaning experience. This practice was it! A colleague recommended this Dentistry and they sure did not disappoint. Nancy recommended some teeth cleaning techniques so that I can get into the back of my teeth when brushing, and Dr. Lange examined my x-rays and teeth, and to my surprise I have no cavities! Woo hoo! I had heard from a friend that MacArthur Dental Arts was a great office to go to. Dr. Vo and Nancy, along with the entire team were not only incredibly professional, but efficient and kind. I came here for a cleaning and a crown for a fractured tooth. Nancy cleaned my teeth so thoroughly, I felt great after her work. She even gave me some pointers helping me clean my back teeth easier that I will use going forward. When it was time for the crown, Dr. Vo is the first dentist I've ever been to where I experienced absolutely no pain! Not even a slight pinch. The incredible part is, they do the entire process in house! I thought I would need to have a temporary crown while it is being made in a lab. The whole process took about 2 hours total. 45 mins to shape, an hour or so for the crown to be built in their machine (which you can watch btw, it's pretty cool), and another 15-30 mins to finish up. I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Vo from now on. read more
