Both dishes came with a mound of pyramid shaped rice. Churros were simple but delicious. Ours came with a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar, which was fine for us. My husband had the lomo saltado and since the kitchen is right there, we saw her cooking it and it was like seeing your favorite aunt making you your favorite meal. The owner and what I think are her family were very warm and welcoming. It was clear they are a staple in their community here. He thought the lomo saltado was the best ever, and we're from an area that has a lot of Peruvian. They even had his Inca-Kola. I got the quarter chicken meal and it was equally as well-seasoned and satisfying, super moist and flavorful.
