Previously we had taken our autos there assuming they were giving us the right diagnoses. We recommended our son take his GMC ACADIA DENALI there after his car smoked and engine died. They said they ran a diagnostics on it and that he would need a new motor. The total would come to $6500 parts & labor. After questioning that my son took his car to another shop that someone referred to him. The following day the new mechanic called and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with his car that it had been idling since he left it and they had ran a diagnostics on it. Apparently after an oil change and hitting some speed bumps the radiator fluid had splashed on motor and caused this chain reaction of lots of steam and motor turned off. He had thought that steam was smoke because it was so dense. We will take our business to the honest mechanics shop on THOUSAND OAKS in the future . read more

Trash!! These are the facts.....Over the weekend I had 2 flat tires st once. Both on the driver side. Resulting in me I needing a tow. Understanding my overall predicament I knew that I had to secure the location by calling to make sure they had the correct size tire before I give the tow company my location.I called, spoke to someone who confirmed that they indeed had the (2) tires in the correct size that I requested. Once the tow truck made it to my location, I called my destination to let them know that I was on my way. . After hearing this, the individual I spoke with asked me to repeat the size of the tire I was in search of. After relating this info to the person whom I previously spoke to, he then gave me the information of a lifetime. That they did not have the tires that I had asked about after all. Upon hearing this confusing yet shocking revelation, it asked my roadside assistance driver if he would be able to drop my vehicle off at a location between our current location at the time and before the original destination. I was given bad news which turned out to be almost a 4 hour wait outside of a location that not only provided me with inaccurate information but also had the nerve to close there doors in my face while I sat there waiting on another tow truck. The lack of professionalism and disregard for my temporary dependency I am more than happy to provide the rest of the community with such information hoping to get someone's attention when the satisfaction of servicing of a client's needs becomes paramount to the business's success . I was utterly dissatisfied with the lack of assistance and support provided me as a result of disinformation on the behalf the servicemen who represented the company Macias. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Grandpa took his car for misfire light, charged 300$ to replace sparkplugs. Grandpa picked up car and was still missfiring, mechanic told him to drive it and would go away had a bad ignition coil. Grandpa took back the car and they charged him another 150$ to replace ognition coils. If they were good mechanics they would of diagnose the problem the very first time. Have bought several used tires from them over the past two years, they have fixed multiple flats for me, and even welded a broken piece of equipment I had. Recently, I purchased some new tires from them to support local business, no complaints. We even had my wife's Mercedes losing air in one tire with no apparent leak, Macias was able to quickly and accurately assess the situation and get us back on the road in a few minutes. Dishonest shop. Stay away. I paid 200 dollars to have 6 spark plugs changed. About 3 weeks later my car starts mis firing, they had only changed the front three not the back three. I guess the back three were too much trouble. I also paid to have a timing belt and water pump done. Now I wonder if they even did them. Stay away unless you enjoy paying for work that's not done. read more
