They repeatedly cut me off, laughed, and said they "don't do partial repairs". frustrated at this point, I asked for a referral to anywhere else they'd suggest I take it. Worst autobody shop ever! Don't go there! We brought our Nissan Altima for a left front repair. We got a called on Friday saying the car was ready for pickup and by Monday they call and inform us that the car was dead and wouldn't start. Shady business. The mechanic says they can fix it if we agree to pay additional 800 service out of pocket. So, if you want shady business and a dead car, take it to them, Macklin's does an amazing job at that. read more

My daughter loves this place because she got to skip school! My girlfriend took her car here and they told her it would take a couple of days and if there were any problems they would contact us immediately. Four days later they call us to let us know that it will take even longer. When my girlfriend expresses her frustration they tell her that she misunderstood. It was her fault. (We came to realize that this man, in his 60's probably, did not understand that a couple of days meant "two" days and instead thought it meant a "few.") Considering that my daughter goes to school across town and then from there my girlfriend and I work even further away, commuting by bus to school and work and back, we would've been bussing for around at least 5 hours total for each day. When they tell us how long it will actually take and my girlfriend expresses her frustration they offer her nothing in return, not even a rental car for a single day because of their error of not contacting us sooner. I'm writing this because my daughter thanks you. We've decided to never go back here but my daughter wishes otherwise! read more

After someone hit my car last February (2020), I took my car to Mackin's for repairs. They fixed up my car and got it to me quickly, however they harassed me for a 5 star review over and over and OVER after my car was returned to me. I eventually blocked their emails and sent all of them to spam. Fast forward not even a year later... The front fender on my car has a broken bracket (AGAIN) and cracking/chipping paint. Paint should last WAY longer than 10-11 months. My insurance company shouldn't have had to pay full price for half-assed work. Find a different shop. Your car may look fixed at first, but you're just going to have to take it to another repair shop later and spend even more. read more

After running over a big pothole, the fender of my Civic started rubbing the tire. Went to Mackin's Auto Body where service manager, Christine, popped the fender liner back in at no charge. The next day there was a different noise, so I went back. This time several staff took their time to do a very thorough evaluation, but it wasn't clear what was causing the noise, so they referred me to a mechanic. When I climbed back in the car to leave, the car wouldn't start, so four staff members came out and did a very thorough check of the electric system. They advised me to call AAA for a tow and referred me to a good auto repair shop nearby. And again they did not charge me anything for their time and effort. I highly recommend Mackin's because they are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, caring people, and really nice ! This could have been a really bad experience, but everything turned out just fine thanks to Christine and her team at Mackin's. read more

I just had the best experience with Mackin's Auto Body . I have an older model vehicle that needed a minor repair to the skirt around the front bumper - I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Manager - Gigi, looked at my car, immediately took my car back to the shop, and repaired the damage for a very reasonable price. He, and the office manager, was incredible friendly and respectful. If you care about attention to detail, do not take your vehicle here. It felt good at first but I came back 3 times to get it "right". Haydn is full of lip service and promises. When asked to verify all items were complete the second time, I was of course assured they were, but they weren't. If I was writing a review strictly of Brandon the manager it would definitely be higher because he went out of his way to address the issues, but it shouldn't have to be elevated to management. QC is definitely lacking here. I choose this place based on reviews and felt an obligation to post an honest review based on my experience, not to trash talk. I'm actually kind of sad to write a bad review. I'm an insurance agent who has used Mackin's twice in the past, with great service. I refer my customers to Mackin's because of my relationship with them. I was left feeling very unhappy with my most recent experience. Someone hit my car (their fault) and their insurer paid to have my car repaired. I of course, chose Mackin's. My driver side mirror was completely replaced with brand new parts, however, when I drove it, I realized the mirror was off. Everything behind me seemed a lot closer to me than my passenger side or driver side mirror. Just driving it to work gave me a headache because looking in that mirror was so jarring. I called Mackin's who seemed to have a hard time believing this was true. They said it was defective and would order me another part, which would be there in a few days. I explained to them that especially when driving, this new mirror was distorted and didn't match the others. I asked them to please put in the new mirror, and drive it first to make sure it's the same mirror as the others. Just take that next step to make sure the repair is right. The day that part was suppose to come in came and went. They didn't call me to tell me when I should expect it. I called again and was informed the part was late to get in, but to please bring the car in to have it installed. I told the very nice women at the front desk and another worker to please drive the car after installation, to make sure the mirror is a match. They did not take that next step, instead they just said it was fixed. When I got in the car, it was the same problem. When I had the employee look at the mirror himself, and compare to the other mirrors, he seemed perplexed. I told him I had my fiancé, and two coworkers sit in my car and drive it, and they all noticed the mirror issue immediately. I asked him what could be done, and he seemed like he didn't have an answer. I suggested pulling the mirror off a same year car as mine (2008) used, since it would be the same. He said he would do that. I got a call saying it would ready on Monday. Monday came and went. The FOLLOWING Monday I called, and was told they "just got it in". That same morning, the mirror they gave me the second time, just fell off, and was dangling from my car. I brought my car in again, and this third mirror finally worked. Lack of communication on delivery/repair times. It seems I had to find the solution for them, and in the mean time, I had to keep bringing my car to them on my lunches, because they were unable to drive 20 blocks to get my car and fix the mistake. Having the mirror they put on the second time around just fall off? That's just bad repairs. Only plus side was Brandon seemed genuine and nice, and the front desk woman was very sweet. I won't be back, I won't recommend this shop to others. I suggest they work on their attention to detail, and keep customers in the loop when there are delays. read more

During the snow storm- somebody hit the door of my Mazda CX-9 in a neighborhood parking lot. There was a major dent which covered most of the door panel. I turned it in to my insurance company and was given a couple of choice for where I could take it. I knew that the Mackin's on 182nd was a big supporter of Centennial High School, so I took it there for an estimate. As John (at the 182nd Mackin's) was explaining to me what needed to be done- I was given a two week estimate for the work to be completed(final paint would take some time to match my existing paint). I dropped the car off on Monday morning and received a call on thursday to come and pick it up. Not only was the Job perfectly done- but several days ahead of schedule. The color was perfectly blended and no one could tell if anything had ever happened to it. If I could give more stars- I would. Well done and much appreciated for making this event almost a non-event. read more

Mackins made an otherwise miserable situation bearable. My car was run into while parked and unoccupied. After dealing with the other persons insurance I was able to drop my car off at Mackins the very next day. Every person I spoke and dealt with at Mackins were beyond friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I received text updates regularly and phone calls every other day, even through the busy holiday season that they had my car. They went above and beyond in making sure my car was in perfect shape before returning it to me.
