They had a pretty big selection of foresters at the time I went in. I was really torn between two of them, they let me test drive both and we're super accommodating with all the questions I had. I've owned several subarus so I know what to look for when buying, the one I ended up selecting was super good shape for the year and had really low miles. I ended up taking it down the road to a Subaru franchise to get it looked at (just for peace of mind) apart from a few small things like the battery ect everything checked out. Upon returning we began the negotiation process which I usually dread, it was easy and they have me a great deal + new battery (: They also said I can come back when I'm ready for the big headgasket service in 1-2 years and they will give me a discount! I got my car in the next day and they worked on it for about a week and a half replacing the head gaskets, AC Compressor, and CVT pump reseal. They gave me a couple upgrades on the house that were very appreciated. Two weeks after my car's "open heart surgery" as Jon called it, we drove to Boise and back with no issues :) So grateful to have a knowledgeable Subaru shop nearby!

I stumbled across Accolade. They did such an excellent job fixing up my car and didn't charge me an arm and leg. Over time I got to know the owner. I discovered that he has a real passion for Subarus. He helped a friend of mine get a used car and that really worked out well. After that I decided to let the owner know that I was in the market for a second used car. It took a while but we found one. He replaced the engine in that car and during the shakedown phase there were a few slight problems. The owner went over and above the call of duty and out of his way to fix every problem. It's like having a brand new car and he sold it to me at a very fair price. If you're looking for car repair I can recommend them. If you're looking to buy a refurbished car this is the place you want to go. Enough said!

Now it has been a few more weeks, haven't had the car for a month, haven't even used the full tank of gas, and I had to take it back to the shop again with an extra 300 dollars cost. In total I've spent close to 1 thousand dollars on fixing this car out of pocket on what was supposed to be a reliable car. Didn't bother contacting them again because the last time I did, they were stressing I brought the car "as is" and this is very upsetting for me, especially since I work 12 hour night shifts and had to stay up bringing the car in the shop twice when I should've been sleeping for work. My car has had a transmission overhaul, shifter fixed, lights replaced and the engine seals now need to be replaced because they're failing. I've spent thousands on repairs and more still on the way on a loan that is now underwater. Do NOT buy from these guys! *update* looks like the previous owner sold the car back to carmax after only a few months. I now have to pay $5800 to get a new engine. It's not the seals. The engine is broken and the warranty won't cover it because it's not broken enough Do NOT buy an extended warranty with these guys. You'll get screwed and not in a nice way. I'm having a lawyer investigate this. What carmax did is pretty shady so I might be able to get them reported to the bbb and fined.
