The breakfast selection was good. Both items that we ordered were great. They also had a mimosa flight that was good. Service was fast a good. Everyone there was friendly and prompted. The restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere.

Today was my first (and unfortunately last) visit to Maclovia's. I had a reservation for three at 12:15pm, yet upon arrival there was no one at the host stand, minimal acknowledgment, and a noticeable delay before being seated--despite the restaurant not appearing overly busy at the time. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes just to be greeted or have our drink order taken, eventually having to flag someone down. Communication felt disorganized, and there was visible confusion about table assignments. While one server was friendly, the overall service experience felt inattentive and dismissive, which was disappointing given how popular this place appears online. The food itself was okay but nothing memorable. The French toast was decent, the menudo was average and could have been hotter, and the chile rellenos were overly greasy and basic. After waiting quite a while for the main dishes, the quality didn't justify the delay. Overall, the biggest letdown was the customer service rather than the food. Add in very limited and frustrating parking, and it just wasn't worth the hype. I'd recommend coming in with tempered expectations--especially regarding service.

Let me tell you guys this used to be our Sunday go to family restaurant" But we are totally disappointed now !!! they take so long to serve!! when the restaurant it's not even half full " the waitress have such bad attitude!!! I ordered chicken tenders for my son they refused to make them till after 2pm . Then i ordered some asada tacos they also refused! We asked them if we can talk to the owner they also refused since hes the cooker ! Such a dissapointment

I ordered chilaquiles with mole with added shrimp, everything tastes good, but the way they layer it is not good, because the eggs go either below or on top of the tortillas with the sauce and everything else on top of that. They have parking, restroom and bar to accommodate everything else. They also need to work on their coffee de olla, it's too sweet! The price is ridiculous for the way it was served to me. Almost $45 for one person is insane and I understand the up charge for the shrimp, but still I didn't enjoy it happily.

This place is a hard pass I went in Saturday morning around 9:15 and was waiting to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant for about 15 minutes. The lady said she couldn't seat us yet because she didn't want to swamp the kitchen with orders. When we were finally seated they took another 15 minutes to take our drink order. I said we were ready to order food but we weren't allowed. Apparently they only take drink orders first. After waiting for drinks to arrive then they'll take your food order. Anyways, my husband got chile rellenos which were ok, the kids pancake meal was also ok. I got the take on eggs Benedict and the carne asada wasn't seasoned but the sauce they use was good. Overall I'd skip this place and just drive a few miles down to Gloria's. Giving a one star for the music they had playing though, it was so good lol

I absolutely loved this place! The service was good and the food and drinks are amazing! It is pricey here but I think the quality is worth it because everything is expensive. It is nicely decorated but it is not a very huge place so I imagine it gets busy sometimes. I would definitely come back and try more food especially their Dubai options. Parking was also a private lot so that was easy!

Hidden Gem! The perfect home feel for authentic Mexican food! The staff is soo sweet and friendly. From ownership to the waiters! Came for brunch but now really wanna come back to try the mariscos, p.s they have real cafe de olla . The vibes here are so chill and they have TVs for all sports events. Definitely recommend and coming back

We were here to do a review to support local Businesses, and possibly cohost with them to drive clientele. We had seen that they were busy and closing til 2am but they literally kicked us out by 12:00am they brought our check and they told us if we needed anything. We asked for more chips and I wanted to order another beer, sadly they said we had to leave. I asked what time they closed and they said in slow nights they had to follow orders and close because there were no clients.

It was our first time coming here and since we live close we decided to come and try out the food. Upon entering we waiting about 3 minutes for someone to greet us. The host came and signed us in and asked if we wanted to sit at a table or bar, he suggested bar since it was just my husband and I so we could get seated faster. So we we ok with sitting at the bar plus they had the soccer game so my husband was happy. Emmanuel was the one who took care of us at the bar and I have to say he gave us 10/10 service. We felt welcomed and taken care of. He checked up on us constantly to make sure everything was to our liking and to just have small talk so it felt more like eating at a family member's house which left a good impression on us. We loved our food and drinks and will definitely come back and sit at the bar if Emmanuel is there!

First and foremost Jasmine was our server! She was super sweet and came every minute to come and check up on us if we were good or needed anything. She also helped us choose what was good between food and appetizers. Super polite and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!! Thank you. I ordered some aguacates and they were fire! Spicy and flavorful the music and ambience is top tier!

I wanted to really like this place and make somewhat of a regular spot. Checked them out to have some drinks and listen to some musica. I have to say that overall, It's just not it. The service was pretty slow and annoying. Almost like the customer but thing they are good at is serving beer. If that's all you're coming for, then you are good. Just don't expect to come here and vibe with some hotties. It was a SAUSAGE PARTY for sure. LOL Place was filled with old dudes getting drunk. Felt more like a Mexican bar like El Tenampa. LOL! Dudes trying to out do each other by paying $25 a song. I'm good. I'll have my beers and listen to the music for free. We stayed just cause we were already there. It took more than half an hour to get Mixed drinks not sure if the bar tender went on break and no one else could make drinks. But buckets of beer would come in a jiffy. We ordered molcajetes to share. And it was pretty disappointing. The food had no flavor whatsoever. The molcajetes, the rice, the beans were all flavorless. I had to ask for salsa and put that on top plus limes plus salt. Pretty much I had to season all the food. And the molcajetes were filled halfway with potatoes which all stayed there once we ate the other half of the seafood. At first glance it looked amazing. But was very disappointing. The best thing we had was the free chicharrones with guacamole they gave us. I mean after charging is 18% service charge for the slow service, it was the least they could offer is. The good thing was they charged us for the food and we ordered more drinks and food and they didn't charge us any more 18% on the next receipts. May return just for beers and music. Maybe eat somewhere else ahead of time. Or just stick to some wings or something. Just be ready to be in a room full of drunk dudes. That is the vibe.

Tried Maclovia for the first time on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised--especially after seeing all the low reviews about service. That was not my experience at all! We were seated quickly, and service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly. The vibe was lively with a live banda playing, which added a fun touch without being too loud. We started with the guacamole and chips and papas bravas--both solid choices. For my entrée, I had the chile relleno plate, and my partner ordered the asada plate. Everything was flavorful, well-cooked, and nicely presented. The standout? Their homemade tortillas--so fresh and delicious! My only critique is the rice--it was a bit dry and slightly overcooked. The taste was fine, but the texture could've been fluffier and fresher. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider coming back. It's close to home, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere is great for a weekend night out. Would've given 5 stars if the rice had been better--but still, a strong 4 stars from me!
