My uncles hosted their 75th birthday party here. We had a private room that comfortably fit 14 people. We were loud. It was private. Service was attentive. There was a prix fixe menu with options to suit everyone. Started off with a Caesar salad. I had the filet (perfectly medium rare) with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Sides were served family style. Finished with a chocolate mousse cake. All food was cooked well and portions were generous. The servers kept the alcohol flowing and remembered our names. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next family party.

If you've ever considered trying the Afternoon Tea at Mac's, DO IT!! This was such a fun experience and would be perfect for any occasion like Mother's Day, Birthday's or simply "just because." There were so many special touches, including a reserved card at your table. A side note: you must make reservations. The Afternoon Tea dates are listed on the Mac's Chophouse website. You are first brought scones, crumpets and your choice of tea, followed by a three-tier tray of sandwiches, quiche, and desserts. Everything was incredible. You can also add a bottle of champagne to your experience for $30. It's $65 per person and well worth it for all you receive.

THIS is the lobster tail they served us !

The positive- The staff tried really hard to provide a professional, attentive service. The negative- They need to RE-TRAIN the kitchen staff!!! The broiled lobster tail was rubbery , dry and room temperature. the seafood charcuterie was missing several items AND they served us an empty lobster tail !!!!! this made me think that this was someone's leftovers . Overall the experience was terrible- we won't be back

We went out to celebrate my birthday, and Hubs selected this restaurant. It was located in the Marietta Square. It was bustling with people and parking was somewhat challenging, but we eventually found one in the parking garage. The restaurant was nicely decorated and pleasant. Our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu, and she was very accommodating about my seafood & fish allergies. The food, ehhhh, subpar at best. The "dry-aged" steak was bland, so were the mashed potatoes and asparagus. It's no place we'd revisit. It was nice walking around the square during the Christmas season, but that was the highlight, unfortunately.

Going to Mac's for a date night was an excellent choice and I can't wait to go back. The ambiance and the service were both great and our server Rado was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated immediately and had very quick service. For dinner we shared the Beef Wellington bites and the Mac's Chophouse signature sides trio with Spinach, Mac & Cheese, and Brussels Sprouts, all of which were delicious. For dinner we each had a steak that we both enjoyed and also loved the side of Aligot potatoes. After dinner our server brought us a complimentary dessert which was amazing. Overall I think Mac's is an excellent place for a special occasion or celebration and I look forward to coming back!

My wife and I took her mother to Mac's Chiphouse for a late dinner on Mother's Day. The ambience is really nice in the restaurant. I ordered a glass of wine and the spinalis steak. It was cooked really well. We shared Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. They were all season well. I will say our waiter was not the best however, I would return.

Food was very delicious. We had a seafood charcuterie board which was very different and tasty. We also had a seafood platter that brought just about everything, Salmon, lobster, shrimp and scallops with a side of mash and broccolini. Our server Jonah was very knowledgeable about the menu he suggested just about everything and he was right! We've been here prior a couple times and this was by far our best experience. Ambiance is always nice.

Great food, great service, recommend this place for a great steak. We had a decent sized work dinner (14) and they accommodated us comfortably on the 2nd floor, never an empty glass, food was spot on. Went with the 12oz barrel cut filet with Oscar topping, thick, juicy, great cut of beef.

Lemon drop martini, beef Wellington bites, side trio, mushrooms, Mac and cheese, creamed spinach.

Food is always great and the service matches the food. Incredible staff and food every time. Great bar and bartenders, managers and RAs.

My visit to Mac's Chophouse was pretty much a one-and-done experience. While the ambience was nice--elegant and inviting--it didn't make up for the lackluster service and food quality. It took almost 10 minutes just to be acknowledged by the hostess and seated, which set the tone for the evening. When I finally ordered, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, but it arrived rare. At a place like this, I expected them to get the steak temperature right, but that wasn't the case. Overall, while the atmosphere was pleasant, the experience was quite disappointing.

We went to Mac's for my fiancés birthday and it was the most incredible experience from the moment we walked in the door. The host was so kind, and even told him happy birthday (which just shows they notice these things on the reservations), our servers David & Brooke were absolutely incredible. We also had Max bring us our food and he was so friendly. We got the tomahawk ribeye to share, a wedge salad, pimento cheese fritters & the trio of sides. We decided to forego dessert and they brought us a special dessert on the house for his birthday. They were extremely attentive, never let our drinks go empty and everything tasted delicious. We definitely will be back very soon!!!

We enjoyed this dining experience. It's all about the aesthetics of this restaurant, just a vibe all on its own. We tried a few dishes and I'll say stick with the steak when at a chophouse. That's my bad. The extra crispy springer MTN chicken was perfectly crispy, but in my opinion and my wife's it needed more salt/seasoning salt. The steak with the gravy on it was . We also enjoyed the balsamic brussel sprouts so much we ordered twice. The Mac n cheese was perfect and the mashed potatoes are very creamy. The staff is very attentive, helpful, and generous. On Father's Day my waiter gave us a complimentary homemade cherry ice cream lava cake type of dessert. Wowser. We'll certainly be back and I'll get the steak next time. Great spot for a special evening.

This place is located in Marietta Square. There is ample parking, but it is always packed. Walking into the restaurant, you are immediately greeted. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I love that the lighting is cozy and makes you feel you're on a date. They do have a happy hour from Mon- Thurs. I ordered a lemon drop, the Roasted Alabama Oysters and the Lobster Bisque. My aunt ordered the French onion soup and the Beef Wellington bites. Everything was amazing! I would rate it 10 out of 10. Definitely will be back soon.

The seafood was super fresh and flavorful, and the vegetables were crisp. Our favorite Seacuterie items were the smoked trout spread, mussels, and smoked salmon. I was pleasantly surprised by the pickled figs. I'd never had them before, but they're now one of my favorites. They add the perfect balance of texture and saltiness to each bite. The tuna was our least favorite. It was pretty much flavorless compared to everything else. Overall, it was a good experience, aside from the awkward start.

The spinach dip appetizer is shrinking in size, yet it seems like the price has increased. Then they charge extra for garlic bread versus the crust that comes with it, which is like, okay, cool, but with the small dish of spinach and crab dip, it makes it almost not worth the change and extra cost. On my last few visits, I've ordered the Texas Redfish Pontchartrain, so after reviewing the menu, I decided to go that route again. The server informed me that they were out of that fish and offered me the option of choosing another fish. We discussed the trout and the snapper. As long as it was filet, I did not have a preference. The server recommended snapper. I agreed. The entire meal was really delicious from the sauce to the fish and shrimp. I was charged à la carte for everything on the plate down to the sauce for that meal, which was confusing because I thought they were giving me the option to order the same meal and swap the fish. Instead, they charged me as if it was my request to rearrange the meal and charged me for the fish swap, the sauce, etc. The server did make some adjustments so it aligned to the pricing of the meal somewhat. The brownie dessert is always delectable. The meal took a little minute to come out, but once it did, everything was good. I did like that they brought the kids meals to the table as soon as they were ready, which was extremely awesome and insightful.

I got a pair of oysters, a raspberry fritz drink, and the snapper meal along with garlic bread. The only complaint and reason for the 3 stars is because they don't take Apple pay. I was highly disappointed because I am a virtual girly. My license is now on my phone. I have had so much scamming happening with my real cards - I only carry my digital wallet with me. I had to go on the website, purchase a gift card, and then pay for my meal that way. It was insane. Just imagine if I didn't have that option or a physical card? Would I be in jail ? Just a little uncanny that in 2026, this wasn't an option. The staff did advise it was coming so that's good to know but be aware they only take physical payments at the moment! Will definitely visit again in the future.

The grilling was immaculate- the meat held together but was perfectly tender to be separated with chopsticks. a slightly spicy, vinegary green onion salad was the perfect compliment to the rich, fatty mackerel. i will be getting this next time we come in. finally, we ordered the bingsu, a airy, fluffy pile of melt-in-your-mouth sesame snow covering a slightly deeper flavored sesame ice cream, covered with a milky sesame cream. that may all sound like a lot, but it was well balanced with sweetness, savoriness, nuttiness, and a bit of bitterness. everything came out at the perfect timing, and service was excellent. in all of our interactions with staff, service was at the level of a place with a much higher price tag. from the menu explanations to the presentation of dishes, the bar is evidently high for training. For all our food, the price was a little more than $100 , which feels like a bargain for a 3 course meal + alcohol.

I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. It was chilly went we visited, but on a nice day, the patio would be nice too. We ordered and were not in any kind of hurry. Probably a good thing, since the kitchen seemed to be very backed up and the food came out very slowly. The servers also seemed to be a little overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if the crowd was heavier than expected. Please don't take this as complaint - the service staff were very friendly and did their best to keep diners smiling. Unfortunately - the food was a little underwhelming. We ordered calamari - it was slightly over cooked and chewy. For dinner, we had the gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca. The safe in the chicken dish was overpowering (I ended up having to scrape it off) and the chicken was overcooked. It says a lot that my favorite thing on the plate was the sautéed spinach (which was delicious!). I really, really wanted to love this place, but I'm not sure I would visit again. There are too many places in this area that have much better food for the same price point.
