Cute place. Really nice view of the runways and airplanes. I could see it being a nice place for a date and drinks. Went for brunch on a Sunday. The food was not good. Bland with weird pairings and combinations. Would return but definitely will eat before I get there

Elevation Chop House and Sky Bar: Cool Concept, Average Execution For an early birthday celebration, I chose Elevation Chop House and Sky Bar, intrigued by the unique experience of dining at a small airport with views of the runways. And in that regard, it delivered--there's something undeniably fun about watching planes take off and land while you eat. The food itself, however, left me with mixed feelings. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. The line between freshly prepared dishes and prepackaged items was a bit blurred, and the overall execution felt uninspired. The plating, in particular, was disappointing--compartmentalized into little bowls with no effort to make the dishes visually appealing. It didn't feel like an afterthought so much as no thought at all. That said, the waitstaff was lovely--kind, attentive, and welcoming. The hospitality side of the experience was solid, even if the food presentation and overall culinary ambition fell flat. I see a lot of untapped potential in this place. With its unique location and concept, Elevation Chop House could elevate (pun intended) the dining experience to something truly special by focusing more on presentation and refining the food to match the setting. As it stands, it operates more like a casual chain restaurant--a simple, no-fuss style that doesn't quite live up to the unique environment. Would I go back? Probably, but with adjusted expectations. The draw here is the novelty of dining by the runway, not the food. Go for the view, enjoy the experience, and don't expect to be wowed by what's on your plate. But, that said, it is not bad, just not WOW.

$$-$$$ Great view of the Kennesaw Airstrip. We watched aircraft land during our visit to this upscale tavern. Drinks were well made by our mixologist at the upstairs bar. We had really good service and the nightly manager stopped by as well. With high ceilings and well lite area, conversation was easy and relaxed. A unique place to dine in Kennesaw GA. We had a ladies brunch to kick off the holiday season. The best part of this restaurant are the views of the tarmac with all the private planes coming in and out. The second best thing is the ambiance. Open, airy, and spacious inside. We started with a few of the appetizers. Fried shrimp with a remoulade sauce, sticky ribs and the spinach dip. We then moved on to entrees. There was French toast, brisket and eggs, the chopped steak, chicken club and the southern Benny. I'll speak for all of it as we shared plates. Portions were generous, food was tasty, everything came out in a timely fashion and was done as described on the menu. We tried three of the desserts, the cheesecake, brownie sundae and bread pudding which came with a creme brûlée sauce. They were all good with the bread pudding as the standout for everyone. Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. I would say that overall it was a good experience and worthy of a return visit. M

It was the day before Father's Day and busy. Mozzarella cheese was great, the Texas Chili not so much. I was disappointed when we arrived and found that the restaurant did not have an elevator or chair lift to allow for my husband and I to enjoy the second floor as I am handicapped. Overall the experience was unique and might try to go back when it has a less lively event.

Along with steak and sushi, you will also find American fare favorites like wings and burgers. For our first visit we went in fully expecting to have a sushi night but after looking over the menu we ended up putting together a full in tasting experience. Our first dish was the oysters and holy moly, they were the biggest oysters I have ever seen in my life. They tasted fresh, served on the half shell with horseradish and cocktail sauce, along with saltine crackers. I highly recommend these. Then came a couple of small plates. Bang Bang shrimp, Spicy Tuna Crispy, and Yellowtail Jalapeño Shots. ALL of these were delicious and I would order again. I especially enjoyed the Yellowtail Jalapeño Shots. Super fun presentation and perfect for sharing. The yellowtail were so tender and they had a nice little kick. From the grill we ordered Shrimp and Scallops with a side of Filet Mignon. The scallops and shrimp were both nice sized and cooked perfectly. The scallops were a little gritty but that happens. I ordered my Filet medium rare and it was also cook just how I would expect it. The meat was a little grizzly/fatty but not terrible. I would order again. The restaurant is huge, bright and tastefully decorated. It was a very relaxing space. Our server was excellent. Extremely friendly and fast. We will ultimately be returning to actually try the sushi! I am also curious about their American far, especially the burger. IG: danny_fuelstherun

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything flavor wise was absolutely incredible and hot fresh out of the kitchen. We were able to get a free dessert to celebrate my dad's birthday. Totally blown away for our first visit and we will be returning. I will only critique that the menu is a little overwhelming, not sure if it's the format of their different dishes and I wish they had more than one kids option. Other than that the food was great and I think this place definitely should be getting a lot more love.

From the moment you walk in, everyone--from the hostesses and food runners to the servers and managers--is genuinely warm, welcoming, and professional. In a time when great customer service often feels like a lost art, it's so refreshing to be surrounded by such positive energy. Our server, Jess, was perfection! She struck the perfect balance between being friendly and attentive while never feeling intrusive. Jacob, the house manager, was equally impressive--his charisma and contagious energy made our experience even more enjoyable. I'm so grateful to live close to Henry's, but honestly, even if I didn't, this restaurant would absolutely be worth the drive. As for the food...WOW! The Snapper Special and the Ooh La La Classics are absolute must-tries--they were phenomenal! If you enjoy a little spice, don't skip the gumbo. It's packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. And whatever you do, save room for dessert! The King Cake Cheesecake and Banana Pudding Cheesecake are beyond delicious. We didn't need the Food Network to tell us how amazing this place is, but it's nice to see them get the recognition they deserve! One more bonus--they now accept reservations, which is a game changer on busy evenings. Henry's Louisiana Grill continues to exceed expectations every single visit. The raw bar is front and center, and there are several great options for oysters. There is a social hour option for chef's choice oysters, I believe it was a dozen for $24. I would've loved to indulge, but my friends were not so inclined towards raw oysters. We enjoyed the peel-and-eat shrimp and the blue crab fritters as appetizers. Both had phenomenal flavor, but the portions left a bit to be desired. For my main course, I tried the low country boil as I always love to see an elevated take on a messy classic. The spices were a bit underwhelming for my liking, but everything was cooked very well. I tried some of my friend's redfish, and it was clearly the star of the show. There was a wonderful textural balance between the soft pillowiness of the fish and the crispy exterior. The downside for me was the service. We had a difficult time tracking down our server, and when we alerted another member of the staff that we needed something, there was no attempt to resolve the issue expeditiously. We had to wait another 10 minutes before flagging down our original server. We were dining close to the lunch/dinner shift, so I'm willing to give them the grace that it was a fluke and not a habit. I would love to give Roberto's another try someday, the menu has a great variety, and the ambiance is hard to compete with.
