There never seems to be a greeting or asking if I need help with anything. I'm usually the one going up to employees to ask for help. On my last visit I went there with my son. He picked out a few items and we went to the dressing room so he can try them on. Got in and out of the room and nobody asked if we needed help looking for anything. Went back and got some more clothes and then back to the changing room we go. Second time coming out of the dressing room one of the employees asked if we had gotten a promotional discount card. I was honestly very surprised that an employee had finally acknowledged us at the store. I wish I had gotten her name. A few days after purchasing some Jeans my son wore them for the first time. He only got to wear the jeans a few hours before they tore. He was simply standing up when they tore. I called this Levi's store to see if they can give me a refund or exchange and was told they could not do anything about it there. They told me to contact Levi's and I was provided the number and website where I can file a claim. I called the number provided and within a few minutes I got an email with instructions on how to file a claim. I'm still waiting to hear back. This store usually has pretty good deals and usually also has a clearance section with even better deals. I just with employees were a little friendly and more attentive. Also wish they had more size options. The shorter lengths for men hard to find.

Now to the point, I have purchased dozens of shirts from Original penguin over the years, with great success. However, the last purchase for $104 was 4 tshirts. I have at least 20 different colored tshirts and love all of them. Unforunately, original penguin has changed the garment to include a tag attached to the collar. ALL OF MY PREVIUOS TSHIRTS HAD PRINTING which is great because the new tshirts have a tag that seems to made out of some type of material realted to sandpaper (slight exageration) that itches lIKE CRAZY TO THE POINT OF RUBBING MY SKIN RAW. NO problem. was my first readtion, I had tags before that were simple to remove and VIOLA' !! no more tag. However, for some unknown reason Original Penguin Designers decided to attach the tag in such a way the makes removal without damaging the material impossible (Not Virtually impossible, truly impossible) I contacted customer support, provide pics of the tshirts as wll as pics of the dozen or so other Penguin Tshsirts noting 'long time customer' 30 years, and literally dozens of shirts and other Penguin items I recieved a couple of very nice replies to mine, thanking for the precision explanation of my issue and the pics. Response was a canned standard response of 'sorry about yer luck' no return since the shirts were washed (thinking it would not be an issue to remove the tag) and not a peep about the more than $1000+ worth of products I had purchased that did not have tags and 'we will notify our design team of your problem/ Meanwhile the Hunded bucks is in our bank account and 'have a nice day' NO offer to correct or help with my issue, perhaps a discount on other items that may or may not have a tag.. Pretty much a B**** slap, on top of having to keep 4 shirts I cannot wear, 2 of which wse damaged when i VERY CAREFULLY attempted to remove the sand paper-like tags , $50 a tshirt is not cheap - plus this company apparently cannot or will not stand behind their overpriced shirts. I just wanted anyone to know that can relate to my predicament, and save you some cash and a the frustration of dealing with what is now, it seems, more interested in the short tearm Hindred than the longer term that is much more lucative thanks again for the opportunity to post my 2 cents worth tony guinn (the true Original Penguinn)

This store actually has a great selection of items and good clothing brands like Dickies. I was fully planning on returning to shop here regularly, but because of the aggressive, arrogant, and passive-aggressive behavior of the cashier at checkout, I will never step foot in this establishment again. Owners need to train their staff not to act like tyrants at the register. A good clothing selection means nothing if your employees make loyal customers feel mistreated, inferior, and stressed out when trying to pay. You officially lost my business. Next time a business acts like this, I will just drop the clothes on the counter and walk right out."

Even though my initial experience at Macy's was less than stellar, I had hoped for better results when I sought help with my watch. Unfortunately, my encounter with a staff member regarding a dead battery took a negative experience to a new low. After explaining that my watch was a gift and that I lacked a receipt, the staff member seemed uninterested in assisting. Their outright refusal to address the dead battery puzzled me, especially since another watch shop had directed me to Macy's. The lack of willingness to work with customers on simple repairs is disappointing, particularly for a store of Macy's stature. The confusion continued when I inquired about the manufacturer's warranty. Initially told there was none, I questioned the inconsistency with standard industry practices. The staff member asserted that warranties needed to be purchased separately and, without one, assistance was off the table. This conflicting information and the lack of effort to find a resolution left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Beyond the unhelpful staff, the store's environment contributed to the unpleasant experience. The substantial wait time, even on a weekday, reflects poorly on Macy's customer service and efficiency. Considering the many negative ratings, my encounter is not an isolated incident. 2nd time I've been here and probably my last. I liked how this mall has a 24 hour fitness so after a great leg day workout I decided to check out what was new at Macy's. Well the men's section was pretty big and I was in the Nike section when I noticed a Latino looking guy kind of near me the whole time. Didn't think anything of it so I went to the fitting room. While trying on clothes I heard someone say make sure you count the items on a walki talki. Oh. They're watching me. I'm an Asian kid with a hoodie on but I guess I fit the profile. Anyway I brought all of my items out and handed them to the cashier. I had a pair of shorts I was thinking of buying but still wanted to browse around. I checked out the polo section and sure enough Latino boy is there but pretending to be on the phone. Then some Latina girl shows up then they walk away. Ok maybe I had one too many pre workout drinks and thought maybe they weren't actually following me. I then went to the clearance section and sure enough he was standing by the exit watching me! Yeah it's good if you want to watch your merchandise but you made yourself too obvious and it was pretty awkward. I put my items down, went to use the bathroom and left. Incident occurred on December 21. My mother was discriminated against. JOSE in the perfume section yelled at my mom who was in line and told her "GET OUT OF THE WAY" she told him she was waiting for her perfume to be wrapped and he said "it doesn't matter, move". He only yelled at her btw not the other people in line. My mother was left feeling anxious and harassed. My mother has been a Macy's regular for years and has been a Macy's card holder for years. HIS behavior is disgusting and unacceptable. Why he thought it was okay to yell at a customer is beyond me, why he's comfortable yelling at an elderly woman is CONCERNING. What was supposed to be a sweet Christmas shopping experience turned into a hostile environment. THIS trashy, toxic and abusive behavior shouldn't be allowed. Not sure if he needs a vacation, therapist or a damn meal but he does not have the right to yell at anyone especially my mother. My mother spent money at this location and it's ridiculous she was treated so poorly. JOSE YOU DO NOT BELONG ANY WHERE NEAR WOMEN. We have never been treated this way at this location, we will no longer be supporting Macy's at main. Management, shame on you for hiring an abusive male who yells at women. read more

Macy's is probably the worst store there is. You can not use any of their coupons..they keep changing their policies and when something their store/employees do.. they tell you to call their customer service number. The people who you are calling are also very rude and do not help you out one bit. I have never in my life written a review for anyone or anything mainly because I am not one of those people that experiences problems but ever since last year they have been giving me problems. From the point of my online orders not coming through on time to someone reporting my gift card stolen. When confronted they say they cannot assume that it was their employee who probably reported the card stolen. I still have my gift card with me and it had around $70. Their customer service and the people who work at their stores..are not helpful one bit. I do wish all these stores close because after hudsons and marshals they have brought down the name so bad that it cannot be repaired again. Completely underwhelmed and dissappointed. read more

Associate/mangr Mani, (not sure about the name), blond lady at 1st floor customer service by the entrance, is very unhelpful and impolite. I was returning a dress that's been not used and perfectly clean, with all tags on, she investigated it for 5 mins and decided she wont accept the return due to some unnoticeable light dust some where.. she would tell me that "the dress will get discarded because of this and won't be put back on the rack" which is i know not true because i have returned many merchandise before that were just the way I bought them and got put back on the racks just easily. She made my life HARDER, i hope this get fixed because she is the only one that doesn't accept returns since a year ago until now... The lack of service was unexpected. I had always found their staff to be great in the past, but this past visit was not up to par. They didn't have what I asked for, and while telling me that she would call around, the sales rep went on to help several other customers first. Then when she came back, she found the item at two other Macy's but couldn't figure out how to call them? I finally called them myself on the phone, and put the item on hold. After a long shopping day I went to buy shoes at Macy's and the workers in the shoes area were nice but couldn't handle all the clients. When I finally find the shoes I wanted I came to pay for them and the cashier suggested me to do a Macy's card for discount and that process took longer then I expected and eventually for some reason it didn't work and I didn't got the card. I ended up spending over 2 hours in there and found 2 pairs of Skechers sneakers. Off-Broadway (now Rack Room Shoes) has the Buy One Get One 50% off all year round. However, their prices are not really discounted prices. Service is good here. If they don't have your size, they will order and ship to your home for free.
