My Dalilah spinning the cups & me just relaxing.

Mad Tea Party, yeah in my teens, 20's, 30's but now in my late 40's it's more like Chill Tea Party. Why, because I don't spin the cup no more I'm too old & I'll end up Broken Tea Party by pulling something haha. But it's still fun & an enjoyable ride & a must when you come to Disney. Lines seem long at times but it goes fast & a ride that many get on twice, during the day & make it one of your last rides at night & feel the cool breeze as you spin. As I got older I appreciated this ride more as a chill ride but it's still fun for all. Another classic good old ride at Disney.

The LO always makes it a point to take me to the Tea Party lol. Its fully outdoors like the film. Pretty simple set up. You sit in a teacup and spin around until you go mad. If you just want to cruise then don't spin the wheel lol. Line is usually not too long but you may get dizzy so be aware.

I really love the theming of the teacups

The teacups is just such a fun ride. Don't let long lines scare you. I feel like this ride line is constantly moving. I think that's because you can deceptively hold a ton of riders on each 'trip.' And once you are on the ride, I love that the intensity is really up to each rider. If you're an adult, spin like crazy and get dizzy beyond belief. If you're younger (or with younger riders), don't spin your cup at all and just twist and turn a little bit. It really helps make each rider have their own unique experience. I know that this ride type is no unique to Disneyland (I don't even think they invented it) but there's just something unique about this version. Maybe it's the perfect theming. Maybe it's just the atmosphere it's in. I'm not sure. All I know is that I love that my boys all want to go on here every time we visit the park.

If you like rides that spin spin spin, then this is it! I went on it and that was a huge mistake! It looks like a lot of fun for kids but I'm getting older and hadn't ridden this ride since I was younger. Big mistake! I got out and went to the bathroom to throw up! That was on me though, I should have known better! This was simply my experience, my kids loved this ride! I love that they are tea cups, super cute!

A rare shot of the ride with no people (rain)

For my 200th review of 2024, I wanted to save for something special. What's more magical than a Disneyland review?! This attraction has been an absolute favorite since I was a kiddo. My nanny would love to take us as kids as she was born and raised in England. It had some nostalgia for her, and honestly makes me think of her every time I go by. A recent trip was a rainy day, and I was able to capture a rare photo of the attraction with no one in the tea cups. If you haven't tried this ride, then it's a must on your next trip. Also, there is a prop tea cup just a ways down from the ride queue so you can take a posed photo. Occasionally a photo pass photographer is there to snap a photo as well. Cheerio darling!

It is an okay kids ride... I remember liking this ride as a kid. As an adult though, this ride is so underwhelming. And the line gets long for this! For this! I'm in disbelief. While standing in line, one of the kids crapped their pants. So, it smelt like poop. Awesome- as if standing in line waiting wasn't bad enough. We had to smell dodo the entire wait. Gross!!! We only went on this because my partner wanted to spin the teacup as fast as possible to make me dizzy. The irony is that there is a limit on how fast you can actually spin them/ how fast they will go. So, the joke was on him. Or maybe it was on me, since we waited in the poopy line for a boring ride?

Still our son's fav ride! I've officially made it 3 times on the ride without feeling dizzy, too!

The Mad Tea Party is located in Disneyland's Fantasyland next to Alice in Wonderland and Storybrook Land boats. You're essentially in a oversized teacup that is spinning around. You can make it spin more by twisting the wheel in the middle of the teacup. This ride is for all ages and heights. It does spin often. If you get motion sickness easily, you should avoid this ride. It's always a short wait time for the Mad Tea Party. In the morning, it's usually no wait, towards the evening it's usually less than 15 minutes. It's a beautiful ride a night with all the lights lit up!

    Posing in the tea cup!

What a Tea Party! Omg this ride always makes me so happy (my fiancé more happy because she loves the spinning) but this ride is very exciting! Nostalgic, colorful Disney magic at its finest! I love to NOT spin and just enjoy the ride but everyone I go with, wants to break the world record for spinning the tea cup. I don't mind. I go with it! Anyways, it is sooo fun to pick which tea cup you want to ride in (sometimes happens , sometimes doesn't) and the song is so cute and exciting. I love the movie and this ride makes you feel like you're in the movie! This ride is never longer than 40 min which I feel is worth the wait! Fantasyland is Fantasyland because of rides like this! I love the Tea Party! Especially the mouse in the tea cup at the top of the ride!

We seem to always end up riding the teacups when we visit Disneyland. Always. The Mad Tea Party is very similar to Mator's ride at Disney California Adventure and provides super grammable moments while you're in a huge teacup flying around at medium speed. I do wish Disney would re-vamp the entry point as it frequently ends up with line cutting and this last visit it made it almost impossible to social distance, but all in all we love the pastel colors of the cups, the music, and and how adorable the pictures always are. Definitely not one to miss if you're visiting Fantasyland!

Waiting in line to get on a teacup shortly. The waiting time wasn't too bad that Saturday - about 20 mins to 25 mins.

A MILLION STARS!…read more What can I say about Disneyland that hasn't already been said? I've been visiting for years, and no matter how many times I walk through those gates, it still feels magical. The attractions, entertainment, food, and attention to detail are second to none. Whether I'm racing through Space Mountain, taking a relaxing cruise through the jungle, enjoying a Dole Whip, or simply sitting on Main Street people-watching, there's always something to enjoy. Every corner of the park tells a story, and it's clear how much care goes into creating the experience. What keeps me coming back isn't just the rides--it's the feeling. Disneyland has a way of making you forget about the outside world for a little while. It can be a place for adventure, nostalgia, family memories, or just a fun day with friends. My real world anxieties and stress melt away and I am simply HAPPY! Of course, like any popular destination, there are crowds, lines, and rising prices, but for me, the magic still outweighs the frustrations. The cast members are often wonderful, the parks are beautifully maintained, and there's always something new to discover, even after countless visits. Disneyland truly is The Happiest Place on Earth, and after all these years, it still feels like coming home.

While I had not heard too much about it, I dedicated my whole day to exploring DLR and wanted to make the most of it. That being said, I purchased a Park Hopper ticket and made my way over after spending the first have the day in DL. Opened in 2001, DCA was not an immediate hit at its debut. In fact, it took a major facelift in order to start gaining some traction in terms of park attendance. The park is Disney's interpretation of California, separated into different lands based on regional areas of the state or by Disney IP. Some of the strongest areas IMO are San Fransokyo Square, paying homage to the Asian heritage in SF, and Pixar Pier which is a huge area combining Disney-Pixar theming with vintage California coastal vibes. While I feel this is the more adult park when comparing it to DL, there is a lot for kids to do here as well. There's a also a strong selection of attractions, and the shopping and dining are also decent. I took a spin on the parks icon - the Pixar Pal-a-Round, which provided awesome views of the park and greater Anaheim area. If comparing DCA to DL, it's my opinion the former is the stronger park - the theming and types of attractions speak to me more. Overall, I thought DCA was great - it's definitely an enhancement DLR as a whole, and I would no doubt return next time I plan a visit here.

Previously, I had attended during an unfortunate time when the kiddy pool was being closed down to be shocked multiple times. Back to back. Incidents that shut the pool down for hours at a time and then caused my health to also be affected thereafter.... I came back for this visit since my kids' Cub Scout group was celebrating their year end achievements and it was a great opportunity to join our community and give it another shot for the kids. They also were older and not on the baby pool. Well, I'm so glad I did. Despite the renovations going on, things seemed more organized and clean. The check- in process was much more streamlined and efficient and our rooms were ready and clean (no carpets!! Yay clean room!) with a view that wasn't great since the climbing area was literally right outside, but the kids loved it! Everyone still gets their free wolf ears too. The restaurant breakfast buffet had staff around to mind all the little and big hands reaching for food and we had a "breakfast taco bar" the family really enjoyed. The pool is full of flavors for all age levels and adventurers but a treat for me was seeing the outside pool area- there were loungers in the water, shaded regular seats, cabanas and no echos. It was like a resort! Inside is louder and humid while outside is full sun but open. Something for everyone. Lots of fun free and paid activities so be sure to check the schedule. We took part in story time (free) and yoga (free). I also appreciated the midweek crowd level even for a summer. I recommend you give it a try to see if it's a fit for your family! Okay thanks bye

We are extremely disappointed with the safety of the children's area at Great Wolf Lodge…read more Our 2-year-old daughter slipped near a children's water slide and struck her head on a hard corner in the play area. As a result, she suffered a large bump and cut on her forehead, as well as a significant bruise and swelling on her foot. What concerns me most is that this happened in an area specifically designed for toddlers and young children. Wet surfaces, running, slips, and falls are completely predictable in a children's water park. Hard, unprotected edges should not be present in places where small children play. Immediately after the accident, we showed the exact location to a staff member. Unfortunately, there was no medical professional available on site. The only assistance offered was ice and a bandage. We were very fortunate that she hit her forehead and not her temple. The outcome could have been much more serious. I am attaching photos so other parents can see the extent of the injuries for themselves. Families visit Great Wolf Lodge expecting a safe environment for young children. Considering the high cost of admission, I expected much better safety measures and a more adequate response to injuries involving children. I sincerely hope management reviews this area and improves its safety before another child is seriously hurt.

The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.
