This place is one of those Instagram famous places that you hope the food is as good as it seems online and it actually is! Their assortment of mimosas is a beautiful thing to see and highly recommend to get the 3 part one. That is a perfect blend to share between two people. The go to food thing here are their madres chilaquiles. Add an egg to it and its a perfect plate with all the goodies on it. I haven't asked if you can get it with the green sauce so it comes in the red. The birria included is flavorful and a great addition instead of the steak. The wait time for me was not that long. I am a big supporter of using the yelp check in to cut down the wait times. I arrived right before my check-in time and only waited about 5 minutes to sit with several of people waiting. I saw a lot of people walking up and adding their name. Please just use the yelp check-in and you'll have a much better experience. At least I did. read more

She recommended the Madre chilaquiles & I must say , they were delicious !! The ambience is super cute and cozy. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. I am pretty sure on the weekends it does tend to get busier, but we did come on a Wednesday and the vibe was very chill. Not too much foot Traffic. First timer here, and let me just say, I did not imagine the portion sizes being so big! It's a great thing, and also a bit of a challenge. I ordered The Journey since I love everything strawberry, and I will say it was pretty sweet, so it's perfect if you have a sweet tooth! I ordered a side of sausage links because I needed something salty/savory to go with the sweetness of the strawberry pancakes. It was a stack of three pancakes and I got through about half, and I could not finish the rest. I would say it's something worth splitting with a friend even! The music was good, but sometimes a little too loud when trying to talk to the person across from you. We went on a Friday morning so it was not as crowded, but it is a small parking lot and we got lucky that one person was leaving as we were making our way around the building. The service was decent, but I think my favorite part was the food runner who brought out my plate and asked if I wanted to record what was about to happen, and I didn't know what was going to happen, but it was very mindful of him to have asked! My wife and I had intended to go somewhere else to eat and stumbled upon this place. We were 6th on the waitlist but when went to check in, they immediately seated us! The service was fast and overly-welcoming; you felt like you had just come to a family party. Food was delicious. I ordered the Horchata Latte and my wife got the Dulce de Leche Latte; both were delicious. We ordered the Madres chilaquiles, Nutella French toast, and the Fruity Pebbles pancakes. They didn't miss on a single dish. The chilaquiles were so flavorful and savory. The French toast was light and fluffy but the fried plantains and Nutella really took it to the next level. I don't care for pancakes as much as waffles but the fruit pebbles pancakes were so damn good I couldn't keep my hands off of them. The ambiance felt like an outdoor party. It was loud and leaned heavily into "let's turn up for brunch" kind of a vibe. A final note, they have flight of drinks. Not only alcohol but all kinds. This is such a great place to take your girlfriends for Brunch. A lot of groups laughing and vibing to the music that they have. It does get a little loud so if you wanna take your mom I may reconsider sitting outside. I took my mother in law and we sat inside and I felt like I was yelling across the table. The food was good and food came out fairly quick . Unfortunately I did ask my waiter for water like 3 times and finally got it after asking a different waiter. Tried Madres on a late Saturday morning... it's true what everyone says about the parking, it sucks! The lot is so small and since it's busy, there's no parking, we parked a block down but it was okay in the end because we were so full, we needed the little walk lol We got the abuelita latte, the mazapán latte (blended) and the iced hibiscus.. they were all so good! The mazapán latte blended was just the right amount of sweet, it wasn't overbearing. We got the hazel waffles, the birria omelette and the chicken chilaquiles. They were all delicious choices! It was a little pricey but I mean, for once in a while, it's okay. The vibes were cool too, everyone doing their own thing, music bumping, overall, I give it a 9/10 only cause of the parking situation, but the food was bomb. read more

Very very good place! Definitely will come back. Not a single thing isn't good here. The only thing that is extremely disappointing is how I ordered oat milk for MY coffee. Once the receipt came it showed plus $1 for oat milk on my sister's matcha and my mom's coffee when they did not ask for oat milk. They also charged us an extra dollar because they said eggs are expensive! If you cannot afford eggs then maybe don't have it on the menu. It's not our fault eggs are expensive and we shouldn't be paying the restaurant an extra dollar for some eggs that should already come in a breakfast sandwich or plate. Makes zero sense. Other than that food is very good. Just charge too much extra this and that. read more
