This is our second time at Maggiano's, and it's definitely my go-to Italian restaurant, except for Louie's from The Godfather. That place is a whole different ball game. Maggiano's is cozy, dimly lit, and has a touch of class. It was lunch, so I grabbed some appetizers-- crispy garlic bread, crispy mozzarella, and my wife had salmon. Everything was delicious. The only downside was the wait for drinks. They came out after the salads, and it seemed like they weren't too busy. I wonder what was going on? But it's Christmas time, so everything's great.

We were early for our reservation so we enjoyed a tasty red sangria at the bar area. When seated at our table, we felt a bit rushed through our meal. Before we could even finish our salad, our chicken Marsala and chicken franchise was delivered and before a bite was taken the waiter asked how our food was. Our food was delicious. Portions were definitely smaller than in our past visits. Highly recommend the Espresso Martini for an after dinner drink.

Not sure what I'm missing but not impressed with this location. Started an early dinner at 4:30 so it was pretty empty. Dining room was nice and clean. But that's where the good parts stopped. I ordered the lasagna and at $27 I was really expecting the best I've ever had. Well...not to be. The flavor was ok but it seemed left over from lunch. The killer part is there was no cheese of which I love melted over the top. Very disappointed. My server was sub standard as well. Really seemed disengaged. Not interested in how dinner was or if I enjoyed it. Only get a 2 today. Could not give higher as it was very disappointing.

Maggianos has been a staple in my family for years. They keep changing their menu around but it's still good! They now have vodka sauce, love that! But their portions are getting smaller. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the chicken parm used to come with 2 big thick meaty juicy slabs of chicken parm?? Now it's a VERY thin single piece of chicken. Still delicious. But the price has gone up, while the portion size has gone down. On a different note our server was an angel!

The staff here were so nice! My date brought me flowers and they brought me a glass with water to keep them in. We had the crispy mozzarella, eggplant parm, and shrimp scampi. Between the bread, mozzarella, and the frozen peach Bellini, I was full and enjoyed eggplant leftovers at home lol He did make a reservation, but it was a Monday night and pretty quiet

good vibes good food good service. For the record tho. Why is it called crispy shrimp. it's fried shrimp. It seemed like it wouldn't be battered so I was curious to see how the shrimp would be crispy lol. Food was good tho.

A small dried out 'double portion' of Chicken Marsala.
    John D.

Where do I start. First we did the "double portion" carry out promotion. We did NOT get what we paid for. Example, we got the chicken marsala for $28.50 and paid the extra $10 for another full portion and got a small side of spaghetti and two small pieces of chicken.... For $38.50! And that's supposed to be a double portion???? What is a single portion then? 3 strands of pasta, a mushroom and a chicken finger. What a disgrace. There was no liquid sauce, dry as a bone. See the picture attached, and yes its a very small container. Never again. What happen to this place? We used to love going there. The best part of the meal was the butter that came with the bread.

We enjoy going to Maggiano's but our waitress Iyanna with long red box braids was a horrible waitress. She did not check up on us much and paid us no mind. We had a party of 7 and tipped 20% but we were so disappointed with the waitress.

I'm going about this review a little bit differently compared to how I usually write them particularly because I feel it's important separate and highlight certain parts of the experience. Service: 5/5 Our server, Abbey, was a rockstar. She was easily one of the top two servers I've ever had in my life (the other was at a high end steak house). So attentive, so accommodating, very apologetic (even though she didn't have to be). She was able to fulfill everything we requested and did so with a smile on her face the entire time. She was kind, personable, and her sense of humor was refreshing. She, along with being with our group of 9 other friends, was definitely the highlight of our experience. If I do come back Maggiano's I would 100% request her again. Food & Drink: 3/5 I will say that Maggiano's does not let you go home hungry and any leftovers you may have even after additional plates are ordered are allowed to be boxed and taken home. The overall quality and taste of the food was average to below average, but I was okay with that for the price and quantity of food you are served. We chose the Family Style meal for 10 people which I believe was $40/person plus drinks (and tax/tip of course). This includes their Caesar and Maggiano's Salads, and your choice of 2 appetizers and 4 entrees (everyone must come to an agreement on food selections). Looking back, I'd say I enjoyed the salads the most. The Maggiano's salad was a hit with everyone. For our starters we agreed on the Zucchini Fritté and Spinach & Artichoke al Forno. Zucchini was fried to a very nice golden brown and was crispy. The spinach and artichoke dip wasn't bad but was noticeably salty. We then chose Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, Lasagna, Chicken Parm, and Salmon as our entrees. Unfortunately the chicken in the fettuccine was a little rubbery, but I did enjoy the chicken parm and how that was cooked. My girlfriend enjoyed the salmon very much and the lemon herb sauce the salmon was served in was very tasty. The lasagna was huge and and edible (as was everything) but didn't blow me away. Drink wise I ordered a Peroni draft (which is what the menu showed), but our server advised they no longer have draft beer. No big deal, I don't mind bottled beer. Since I was driving I elected to have a Heineken 0.0 which it was nice to see the restaurant carrying a non-alcoholic beer. My girlfriend ordered a dirty martini which we both thought was overly salty. I wanted a glass of wine but thought their wine was a bit pricey. Dessert: 4/5 I forgot to mention above that the Family Style meal does come with an assortment of desserts as well for the table to split. After all the food I consumed earlier in the night I barely had room left but everything looked good so I tried what I could. Im not a big dessert person so I was surprised I liked everything as much as I did. I've never really liked or tried many different tiramisu but I found Maggiano's to be very good and it wasn't the least bit soggy. This was also the first time I tried crème brûlée and loved the caramelized sugar on top. Our server said the butter cake is her favorite. It tasted like a snickerdoodle and was also very good. I did not try the cheesecake or apple crostada but our table finished everything which I feel is a telling sign. Atmosphere & Dining Room: 3/5 Maggiano's is very big but upon entering it was very crowded with not much room to stand while waiting for our table. The dining room was loud (to be expected with the number of guests in the restaurant). The tables were very close together as we had servers barely being able to squeeze between our table and the table behind us to drop off and pick up food. In conclusion, I'd say our experience was a positive one. As stated earlier our server was incredible which is so important when it comes to your overall dining experience. We never once felt rushed. The price of the food was very reasonable especially for the amount that came with dinner but don't be expecting impressive quality. It was nice Maggiano's has a valet service because the Cherry Hill Mall parking lot can be very hectic and hard to find a spot.

Wonderful food and great service! I've visited Maggiano's in the last, but I must say this recent visit truly impressed me. It was getting late, but the host seated us warmly. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly and the food arrived fast. The bread. The soup. Our entrees... everything arrived piping hot and fresh. I'm looking forward to visiting again this summer.

She gave a really good rundown and suggestions of menu options. So, think we got a bit excited from all her suggestions and underestimated the portion sizes because we ended up with a lot of food! Lol. Wings, shrimp, meatballs, nachos - all pretty decent portions/larger plates. I was even shocked by the "side of bread" being a plate of bread lol. The wings were really good, meatballs were ok, shrimp good and nachos ok too. Our little one enjoyed her Kid's Pizza, which was large than we were expecting for her. Would come back to this location or try out the KOP one.

Going back last week was very disappointing. I ordered the special shrimp tacos, sent them back, the ingredients were very unpleasant. We also ordered appetizers : the wings were mostly overcooked, as were the clams. My husband said the dumplings were OK. The best part of the meal was dessert. We had the bread pudding and the chocolate chip-cast iron cooked cookie sundae. Perhaps they should limit the menu to deserts. We will not be returning anytime soon.

The fact that they have 3 different restaurants in a restaurants means that everyone can find something they will like. You also have choices for seating (outside, outside at bar, inside at bar, by rollup windows, etc.) so depending on the weather you can do what suits you. The weathers are a nice addition as well for the fall/spring. Only two downsides are I wish they offered more beers in 16 ounce pours (they have 50+ on draft but typically only offer 20 or so in 16 ounce pour, the rest are 12 ounce) and that the TVs weren't blaring for some of the sports events. At this point I'm starting to wonder if the chickens are real or if I've been the victim of an elaborate prank. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my poultry disappointment. We ordered a couple different wing flavors, including the Honey Mustard and a blueberry-based sauce, and both were excellent. The wings themselves were massive, meaty, and cooked really well. The Honey Mustard had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess with just enough mustard bite to keep it from feeling overly sweet. The blueberry flavor was surprisingly good too. It had a sweet-tart fruitiness that sounds unusual on paper but worked really well with the smoky, savory wings. Both sauces had plenty of flavor without completely overpowering the chicken. The atmosphere is classic neighborhood pub. Cozy, casual, and the kind of place where people seem comfortable settling in for the whole evening. Downstairs there's a bar and shuffleboard area that definitely attracts a younger crowd. It gets pretty lively and noisy, which adds to the fun if you're there with friends. My only real complaint is that parts of the place felt a little messy. The stairs leading downstairs were sticky, and parts of the basement floor were too. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it was noticeable. The staff, however, were fantastic. Fast, friendly, and personable. Even when things were busy, they kept everything moving and made us feel welcome. Overall, it's a fun spot with great wings, good energy, and a laid-back crowd. Still giving it four stars because I left without seeing a single chicken, and I feel mildly betrayed. But if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and eat some seriously good wings, it's definitely worth the visit.

This is indeed a sports bar with live music, and I do mean live, and very VERY loud music. Not that this feature is a bad thing, but on a random Thursday for an early dinner, an ear-shattering double set of various stages of hard rock and classic rock was not expected, and despite there being seating semi-separated from the bar area, the volume is so loud here, I am surprised anyone can even eat; not even sure how conversation is possible. We had to shout to each other at the table until we got lucky and the band graciously took a break. That being said, our food was top-notch! The staff was also extremely nice and our server was patient and attentive and also gave great suggestions, as I always have a hard time deciding on multiple options when a restaurant's menu is as extensive as this. One exceptional highlight were the long hots wrapped in bacon. Just crazy good. Like on another level good...and I am not usually a big appetizer guy. I will always share in what the table orders, but I was ready to hoard these and not be nice about sharing! The sheer variety afforded by the menu makes Kaminski's a great place for groups, as there is truly something for everyone here, and on top of that they have soups! If you didn't know from other reviews, I am freak for soups, and here it is the traditional Avgolemono; a greek rice/orzo chicken soup with fresh lemon. Simply a delight. This is a place we will definitely be returning to and a big part of that is because of the simply massive amount of selection the menu affords. On top of that, everything we had was good. However, I will definitely Be calling ahead to find out if they will have live music on the night we decide to go, which will probably keep us in the Monday to Wednesday range, as I am pretty sure they have live bands for the rest of the week. Kaminski's is definitely worth the trip over the river for us, but we will likely just stop by when we are in the Cherry Hill area for something else. If you live nearby, you are doing yourself a disservice by not going here regularly. Head over and give your eardrums a workout, and your stomach a tasty gift!
