Came here on a Monday night for the first time with a group of friends all in the industry. We were told by the Bartendar, Liz that it was HH but when asked what the HH consisted of, she didn't know. When asked about certain drinks and food items (how the tuna and Baja chicken taco is served) she didn't know. "I'm not sure I'll have to ask". Let me start by saying I have never written a review in my life. I've never even had a Yelp account until today. But I found today's experience worth writing about. The food was amazing, and the service was hands down the best I've ever experienced... and I go out to eat a lot. My family and I had two servers today. Hillary and trainee Amelia who noted it was her first day with a huge smile. The restaurant was pretty busy and yet we were waited on perfectly. Hilary's knowledge of the menu was spot on, which was impressive. IF YOU'VE SEEN THE MENU YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. She knew everything. Amelia, although only her first day was SO attentive and foresaw our needs before even we did. She was professional and polite but man was she FUNNY. My fiancé and I decided to try Maggie McFly's tonight. We were seated quickly, and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I ordered a burger, and it was very greasy. Every other bite had a hard piece of something in it. I haven't had a burger in a long time and I was looking forward to it, so is was disappointing. We arrived at around 820ish and our server did not mention that both the bar and kitchen were closing at 930. When she finally came around to take our orders she was swearing and speaking to other tables, ultimately forgot to ask what we wanted. She ended up leaving for so long we tried to order with other servers to which they said they're assigned tables but they would call her back over. When she finally came back we tried to order drinks and she told us that the bar was closing so we couldn't order drinks, she said she'd try to have the bar make us one since we didn't know but she again wasted time speaking to colleagues that were sitting at a dining table and didn't make it to the bar in time. She also stated "I'm not rushing you but I have to rush you to order" because the kitchen was closing - this after she took nearly 45 min to finally take our order. When we finally received our food, it was cold. I sent it all back and left. She tried to say I can comp one meal but not all. We didn't have time to eat even if we wanted to eat our cold food. She had the nerve to ask if we wanted it microwaved for the road. Never going back, terrible service, completely inconsiderate. read more

Manchester and Buckland Hills Mall definitely needed a restaurant/bar like this. They did an amazing job renovating this space. I was alrady a big fan of Maggie's in Glastonbury, so I was very excited to hear we'd be getting one of our own here in Manchester. The menu is huge, but my friends and I typically enjoy the happy hour specials. There are several apps for 3.99 each and $1 off all drinks. If you're looking to try a few different things while enjoying a huge selection of beer, this is a great place in Manchester. My favorites are the eggplant fries and tex-mex rolls! Drinks can be a bit pricey, but it feels worth the extra dollar or two when you compare the atmosphere to all the other chain restaurants around Manchester. We will continue to come back! read more

Like the atmosphere of this restaurant and have been 3 times in the last month. 1st time was great, went in evening and sat near bar had a terrific Butternut Squash Soup. 2nd visit at the bar where the sound on TV's was up and it wasn't as cozy. Ordered the same soup and it was watered down. The last time we went with the kids at 7pm and it was busy. The service was pretty terrible. Took almost 3 hours start to finish. We did order smores which the kids loved for dessert so I'm sure they will want to go again. read more

My sister lives in CT so we needed a halfway point to stop with the kids, and can say we found our spot. We have been here numerous times, and haven't been disappointed with any meal. We've gotten the pupu platter, burgers, fried mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and the list goes on. There is a large variety of comfort food available at any given moment. One of my favorite spots in Manchester. Perfect menu with a huge variety. (Think Cheesecake Factory but not nearly as ridiculous) There's something for everyone. Great atmosphere. The booths can be a little hard to get in if you're short, you might feel a bit like you're getting in to a high chair, but it's well worth it. Yummy read more

When we walked in the place seemed fun. But once we were seated it took nearly 15 minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders. Took even longer for the food. The steak was way overcooked. 10 o'clock on a Wednesday evening and we needed dinner and we didn't want fast food. We walk in and the place wasn't busy, we were seated at a table in the bar area. The waitress asked for our drink order, two margaritas and we began searching through the notebook for a our meal. The drinks came, tall, thin glasses a little different. The drinks were a little weak. We ordered the Spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer, the dip was really hot but good and what made it really good was the assortment of things to dip and scoop it, potato chips, tortilla chips, bread, carrots and broccoli. We ordered the Crab cakes and Pulled Pork burgers, the wife loved crab cakes entree. The pulled pork burger was good sized, the pretzel bun was shiny and greasy which made holding the burger in my hands impossible, without constant wiping off my fingers. Thank Gawd this place has cloth napkins. Once one got past the bun, the burger and the pulled pork was really good and the fries were no big deal. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. The prices of the food was a pleasant surprise. Based on the other reviews and comments, it would seem that my experience was consistent was theirs, it can be good and not so much but good enough to try it again the future. read more

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service from the corporate office regarding a 'bug' issue we experienced at this location. When I contacted the Corp office they said the would investigate the issue and get back to me. After two emails inquiring about the outcome of their "investigation" I never received a response. Although the Manchester staff was very apologetic, there is no reason why I should see what I saw while eating my dinner and then get no response from their corporate offices after reporting something that could be a health hazard. read more

Dirty dirty dirty! The menu was all greasy. The wall by the booth had food spatter and our ten year old noticed how dirty the floor was.

$30 for a sirloin steak, or maybe $35, but I'm not sure so I'll be generous and say $30 for a SIRLOIN STEAK?!! Am I crazy or does that sound ridiculous? I think they called it a strip steak or something that made it sound like a better cut of meat, but I just remember it being tough and a bit overcooked. The sides were okay, but every side was petite and $6 per? For crying out loud, I don't know if its because I am young they can pass low quality cuts of meat off on me but I felt ripped off. 3 star food at 5 star prices. Its okay but not a good deal whatsoever. I'd be willing to pay more for satisfaction too! I just want to be satisfied, that's why I ordered what I thought was the best thing on the menu, certainly the most expensive or one of the most expensive. read more

I went here and didnt have to wait long. The staff was nice and the food was good. My burger came out medium rare when I asked for medium but it still tasted good so not the biggest deal. I had fun and the atmosphere was nice. The biggest problem I had was the cupcake I got from the small nora cupcake co stand inside the establishment. I got the candy explosion cupcake.The cupcake looked so pretty and nice when I got it. However when I got home and opened the case the frosting was crooked. Not a big deal. BUT when I take a bite the cupcake was hard and not sweet. The whole thing tasted salty almost. The frosting tasted like slightly sweetened cool whip but also somehow bland. There was candy on the inside so that made me smile but the cupcake was gross and inedible. But my experience at Maggie McFly's was good. read more

3 stars because drinks are good but service is not up to par. My family and I (total of 3 people) wanted appetizers and drinks on a Friday evening around 8pm. The place wasn't overly busy as the hostess sat us immediately in a the booth when we walked in. We browsed the menu and waited for someone to come to our table so that we could place our order. 15 minutes later, we left. I approached the hostess informing her that servers and bussers walked in and out of the kitchen and passed our table on numerous occasions but not a single person ever came to us or acknowledged our table. read more

My first time at Maggie McFly's. Had the Brie Pear salad. It was delicious. Sat at the bar! Staff were great. Noelle recommended and made the perfect drink for a hot summer day. Gin and tonic but it was infused with rose essence and head muddled cucumbers. Would have given five star, Love that the food is locally sourced, but the salad had tomatoes in it and just didn't feel they belonged with pear and Brie and candy pecans and cranberries just a little out of place. I was excited maggie mcflys was opening at the mall, and it did not disappoint the 3 times I've been. The menu is extensive whether you're going for a dinner or a few appetizers. I went on a Sunday, had a Bloody Mary and the potato skins, which were perfect. Only complaint was there was tomato juice all on the outside of my glass which made things messy. The menu is out of this world and you literally need a good 5 minutes to look through it. The customer service was awesome and so was the white sangria. I've come to this location a few times. Most recently my husband and I had a date night and decided to eat here. The food was delicious, came quickly and was hot. The only thing I have to say was disappointing was the service. When we walked through the door the hostess practically beamed and took our name. She was awesome. Shortly after we were sat. Then came our waitress, who never smiled, showed no emotion, and seemed generally unhappy. She was obviously busy with tables seemingly far apart from each other. The food was great, never had an issue there. It would just be nice to have our server be a tad enthusiastic about, well, Went back for lunch a few days after this visit. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. There was a slight mishap with my meal but a manager went above and beyond to make sure I was happy in the end. Customer service is top notch. Recently went here and sat for close to 25 minutes without a server. We were right up front too, the hostesses stood at the host stand not even acknowledging we hadn't been served yet. The table next to us had just finished their meal and the manager came over apologizing for how long it took. We eventually got up and left. My sister & I stopped in for dinner. My sister asked the waitress if the dish she was thinking of getting had onions in it. The waitress said no. When the food arrived it had onions. We waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come back before my sister got up to find her. She then said the kitchen must have misunderstood her & took it back. When it was brought back out there were still onions in it. We asked for the manager to came over. When my sister told him what happened he just looked at us & said the waitress wouldn't really know how the food was prepared since she didn't work in the kitchen. He did take the dish off our bill but not 1 time did he apologize. I would never recommend this place if the Manager can't apologize & throws his wait staff under the bus & does't really seem to care what his customers think. read more

Went to the mall with my girlfriend and as we were leaving we noticed the flashy display on the outside. Neither of us were too hungry, but we decided to at least pop our heads in and grab something small since we were in the area. What a great decision! The atmosphere and staff both made for an overall pleasant dining experience. We were seated after a very small wait and began looking for the options. The menu is Cheesecake Factory-esque and has something for everybody. My girlfriend and I both decided on burgers (more specifically I ordered the pulled pork burger).
