Wife and I decided to stroll in last night and it's pretty nice inside with outdoor seating as well. Decent amount of beers on tap which is always a good thing. The menu is like a novel, I couldn't decide what to get there were sandwiches, burgers, pastas, pizzas the list can go on and on. A huge variety of food! I was a bit overwhelmed so my server suggested the Louisiana Chicken, so I got that and my wife got the white pizza. The food came and the Louisiana chicken portion was huge. It could easily be shared with 2 people. Everything about it was cooked perfectly, I enjoyed every bite. White pizza was perfectly done as well and full of flavor. Good customer service and has a very large food and drink menu. they can accommodate big parties. They also have a bar that you can order mixed drinks from. My family and I always have a great time here. I always get their eggplant fries but the last time I went they weren't as crunchy. Went here w/ friends to grab a quick bite to eat. Things started a little shaky when they told us the wait would be 5-10 mins and it turned into 30+. We wouldn't have minded if they were busy, but it wasn't. We had to check back more than once to make sure we hadn't been forgotten. Now to the food. It's impossible for you not to find something b/c the menu is so huge. We had steak, orange chicken, fish and chips, a burger and fries, a chicken salad, and a grain bowl. I'm glad they can be creative but I rather have a cutting board in the kitchen and a plate for my food. Everything was sliding off the cutting board plate that the burgers were serve on. This place's FOOD is great. Their kitchen menu is expansive as well as their bar menu. Their customer service leaves something to be desired. Staff are slow, both servers and hostesses. Food generally takes a good while to come out as well. When it does, however, it's fresh and tasty. I wish their prices were a little more affordable, but I understand they use quality ingredients and that drives prices up. For this reason I go only on special occasions. Just don't go here. Ignored, talked down to, order wrong, anything you can think of. We'd been waiting on drinks for about 20 minutes so I figured I'd go to the bar and at least get some waters. The bartender looked at me and pointed and said "there's your waters." Went back and sat down. Three minutes later had to go back, our waters were just sitting on a tray on an empty table. This place has a massive menu and I think your experience will greatly depend on what you order. Like tonight, we ordered the French Dip and the Bacon BBQ Burger. The burger was really good and the fries were super crispy and delicious. The French dip was only so-so, and I was slightly put off by the very harsh garlic flavor due to the fresh garlic on the bread of my sandwich. The garlic was so fresh that it was actually mildly painful to eat. Another time I was there, I ordered the Chicken Pasta Milanese and it was AWESOME. The portion was enormous, the chicken was perfectly breaded, and the pesto-lemon sauce was so good. And I had leftovers for 2 more meals. But we also ordered he Tex Amex Eggrolls and they were definitely not what I was expecting. I was thinking I would would get a normal size egg roll filled with corn/beans/etc. Instead I got these fat, slightly soggy monstrous burritos that were deep fried and cut in half. I'm giving 3 stars because the food is great! However, as far as service goes, not that great. Our server herself was good, but the poor girl had just gotten out of training and was given 8 tables around the bar area to herself. We had our daughter with us and it took over an over and a half just to get our food. Thankfully we ordered our daughters food early to ensure she would have food and would be content and occupied. Our food came an hour after hers. I don't know *who* is to blame. I felt bad for our waitress and thanked her but as far as management goes, they really shouldn't stick a brand new server with that many tables. I've been here twice now. Both for lunch and more than 6 months apart. The place was clean and seemed less than 1/2 full each time. The first time I was with a group and we sat outside. I had the Cobb salad and some iced tea. The salad was fresh, crisp and crunchy where it should be and was very good. Everyone seemed satisfied with their orders and we had no problem with the wait staff even though there were 8 of us. I went back again just this past Sunday. It was a rainy, cool afternoon so my friend and I sat inside. Our drink orders were taken quickly, we both had water and my friend also got a beer. but then things took a turn for the very slow. I couldn't tell if it was a kitchen issue or if some how our orders got lost or reshuffled, but from the time we actually ordered until we were served our food it was over an hour. Several people coming in after we were seated, even a couple of families with larger orders, got served before us. Again, the restaurant was not even near full. I had a cheesesteak sandwich, side salad, and clam chowder. The food was very good when it came, although some might have found the chowder a bit salty. I like it that way, but did add some pepper. My friend had French onion soup which he said he enjoyed very much. Prices seemed a little higher than I remembered, but I suppose that's to be expected these days. And as noted by others the menu is very large. Still, despite the slow service, the food was good both times and it's likely I'll be back. read more

I normally review higher for the dyson airblade but this plaque has soured my view on this new hand drying technology. Paper towels when used properly are obviously the most effective form of hand drying for various reasons. I personally have used paper towels for not just drying my hands but for other uses as well such as: blowing my nose, cleaning off the counter, and even cleaning off clothes if I have spilled food on them. Whereas the airblade couldn't do any of these. The airblade, while being more effective in preventing the spread of germs, could never replace the the age old traditional form of hand drying that is the paper towel. read more

When we arrived, we were greeted by a waiter by the name of Dorek Hayes and his service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! He made us feel comfortable while keeping things professional. This place is growing on me more each time I go. The menu is sooo vast but I've loved everything I've ordered so far. The bartender Brittany is amazing. I have introduced a friend and my husband to this place and they loved it. My husband enjoyed the option to be tucked away in their back seating area and my girlfriends enjoyed the rounded booth seating. They were especially accommodating to my friend who had a boot on her foot and even offered her a chair to sit her leg up. How thoughtful is that!!? I think visitors will love the idea that they are right outside an entrance so you can either walk off what you ate while in the mall or eat after a tiring trip in the mall. In a word: meh. Nice servers but really bad service. Always friendly service people but they forget something about our order or forget to pay attention to us entirely every time I come here. They don't bring things out in the right order i.e. I ordered a beer and an appetizer and drinks for our kids and one entree while the kids decided what they were ordering for lunch. I asked for one more minute to decide and the server disappeared for nearly 15 minutes and drinks arrived with the entree and appetizer all at once. The hostess was not there when we walked in and took about six minutes for her to appear and take us to a table. I came the other night for a drink and a meal and the bartender completely forgot half of my order and didn't check on me. I left a poor tip which I rarely do but she literally did nothing to earn even what I left. I had to flag someone else down to pay my bill so I wasn't late for a movie about to start. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant and the food is decent. Just really need to retrain the staff on how to serve customers. Check on your customers. read more

I have a long review to post of this place, but it seems its way past the word count, and due to nothing but weirdness last night at dinner, I can't seem the whittle the full review down. So, here's a condensed version. If you like menus that are about 3 inches thick, having two servers who never communicate with one another serving you, not getting your meal even ordered, or it arriving without the changes you asked to make to it, semi-hot food, or being asked if you need a to-go box with a fork and knife in your hand as you're still very clearly eating your meal, this is the restaurant for you. If that doesn't sound like fun, I'd probably avoid, at least on a Sunday evening when the restaurant is pretty empty. read more

We stumbled across this place wanting "good burgers." We got way more than we expected from this place. This place is like an upscale bar/restaurant. I didn't realize how bar like it was until we entered which is obvious with the televisions with the sports stations on. Nevertheless, lets get to the food. The food was great. Let's see, we had the Crab bisque, Chesapeake Bay crab dip, chicken parmesan, mac and cheese burger, chicken nuggets, ribs + mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes, french fries. I ate a little bit of everyone's food including the kids. My oh my, I was definitely impressed with the ribs and burgers! My chicken parm, not so much. My chicken was a little overcooked and dry. The marinara that goes with it, it more like crushed tomatoes with a little sauce. So needless to say I wasn't impressed with that. The chicken nuggets my little one had, must have been gourmet chicken nuggets. Those were the best chicken nuggets I've ever eaten from a restaurant! I would definitely re-visit and try something else to eat if I'm ever in the area again. Oh dessert! How could I forget. We got the apple pie crisp with the ice cream, cinnamon cheesecake and a oreo cupcake. I love the apple crisp. Cheesecake was great per the 16 year old. The 10 year old didn't particularly care for the oreo cupcake, because on top there was some type of whipped frosting that was a little on the bland side so he just ate the cupcake. I went to this restaurant with my family. We had to wait about 10minutes before being seated because of Covid19 and social distancing. The waitress was friendly but the overall service was slow. It could have been because of short staff. Our appetizers came out with our meals. I had soup and sandwich. The menu has a big variety. I had the southern chicken sandwich and butternut squash soup. Both where good choices for lunch or dinner. I suspect the service speed will very depending on staff. I highly recommend the butternut squash soup. read more

I ordered the seared scallops, the waitress brings the entree to me and explains to me after seeing small scallops the size of marshmallows for hot chocolate " we didn't have the regular scallops so we got you the smalls ones!" I mean Really!??? If the order goes to the kitchen and the cook finds out there isn't any scallops that go with this order... 1. Go back to the customer.. 2. Tell the customer that you don't have the item....3. Ask if the customer is ok w the order with those changes or have them order something else. It's quite simple really. Don't assume they will just agree to it because the plate is already in front of them. Your staff need training. This ruined the experience of an otherwise good evening. read more

LONG READ WARNING Sadly, I had a pretty terrible experience dining here for lunch. I really don't like complaining about food establishments because I know how hard it is and everyone has off days. And at first, I felt that much of my experience there was a misunderstanding but the more I've thought in it, it was just unacceptable. This issue most stemmed from customer service and pay but also with the food and service itself. When i arrived, there was almost no on there. But the waiter I had was great. Friendly and quick to take my order. The order itself took quite a long while to arrive but as always, I didn't mind waiting. It arrived wrong the first time and I didn't want to reorder it so I politely gave it back. The side dish I ate, skewers of beef, was perfect and decided to go with just that. The waiter offered some veggies as a side and I agreed. When that arrived, it was under cooked. Without time to reorder again, I asked to pay the check with the Samsung pay app on my phone since my wallet had been recently lost. I was told that they wouldn't be able to scan my phone with their machine because of fraud in the past. This was new to me as literally every place around the Lynhaven area accepts this form of payment on even older card readers. The waiter got the manager for me who said the same thing. Understanding that this may be putting them in a situation, I offered to give whatever information they needed me to give and call back once I could get a card from the bank or home. The manager instead decided to coldly interview me on why I was intending on paying with an electronic app and not a card on a 7 dollar tab. When I explained myself and honestly still felt like I was being treated like a dine-and-dasher, she was short with me throughout the rest of our conversation before I said I would call back and pay. This could have been handled so much better. Now that I have called and paid, I just need for this experience to be known. TLDR: Long wait time, even when almost empty, incorrect orders, and management who's customer service and problem resolution skills were as lukewarm as the under-cooked food they served.
