This was our second visit to Maggie McFly's, though our first one was years ago. The menu isn't as large as we remember from our initial visit, but there are still plenty of good options. The ambiance feels more like a bar, but without the loud noise -- relaxed and comfortable enough to enjoy a nice meal. For food, the Wagyu Burger was delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the Chicken Costeleta, which was also really good. There was plenty of sauce, and their sauce definitely stands out -- it adds so much flavor to the dish. Our server was friendly, but not very attentive throughout the meal. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back to try more dishes from their menu.

My salmon was way over cooked even though I specified medium rare/medium. Very disappointing. They offered me a free dessert but didn't want it. The server was very nice.

Ordered to-go through UberEats because we really needed to chill in our hotel room. I felt so irregular from traveling that for my entree I just wanted a salad. Through the app I found the Steakhouse Salad (7oz Black Angus New York strip steak, bib lettuce hearts, chopped bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, grape tomatoes, red onion, croutons, eggs and dressing). I had the option to get a different kind of dressing so I chose Cucumber Wasabi. That was an excellent choice. Nothing really fancy but the salad was delicious and I was satisfied. I also ordered the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake (NY cheesecake with layers of cinnamon-nutmeg streusel on a graham cracker crust, then topped with a creamy cinnamon roll glaze and vanilla whipped cream). Good goodness, this is a CHEESECAKE and it was amazing! I loved it. Thanks for the food!

I always passed this place walking into the mall so decided to try it out. Walking into we were sat right away (didn't expect anything else on a Monday). The place was very welcoming and our waiter was very nice! I got a chicken Buffalo sandwich and it was great!! Definitely had spice but I wish it was just a little more. I only got a photo of my food due to my husband eating his food to fast... he got the chicken Alfredo and he loved it!! Only downside was our waiter was extremely busy (I guess someone called out) but she was still great! We will be back!!

I went back to Maggie McFly's after three years. We originally planned to eat at Cheesecake Factory, but they had a three hour wait. Since we had a large party, we decided to try Maggie McFly's instead. I am glad we did because the food was delicious. I ordered the Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp and it was amazing. We had a party of nine so I cannot list what everyone ordered, but I do know everyone enjoyed their meals. This visit was much better than my last experience. Our server was attentive and the ambiance was great. We will definitely be returning.

Parking here is terrible for starters. Just wanted to say that before actually going into the restaurant, be prepared for a walk. As far as everything else went, my dad and I met his friend there for dinner. Luckily he had gotten a booth before we arrived. We noticed he hadn't gotten a drink yet and he said that they haven't checked on him to get one during the time he's been waiting on us. So, we chat a bit, and about maybe 6 or so minutes pass, and finally our server comes up to us. Now, I get it, it seems a bit busy, and she did apologize for the wait, but someone should've came up to us by now in my opinion. If you're busy, you ask someone if they can get your table drinks while you finish what you're doing quickly. Or have someone inform the table that you're a bit busy but will be over as soon as you can. In my opinion, communication is key between servers and guests. If you don't have that, the dining experience can be ruined quicker than them leaving. Since we had time to look over the menu, we knew what we wanted when she returned with the drinks. Mind you, we asked for water with lemon and an unsweet tea, but got no lemon. I'm not gonna make a fuss over a little thing though, so we ordered our food, and she left again. We got our food in good time and she gave us refills and left us to it. I had gotten two avocado tacos and one fish taco. The avocado taco tasted a little odd. I've made fried avocados before and they were not like this. The breading was somewhat sweet, but coated the avocado well. It was crisp, and the taco altogether had good flavor, but individually tasting each thing wasn't the best. The guacamole could've just been lime crema at that point. It had no flavor but an overwhelming amount of lime. Overall, not my favorite taco. As for the fish, it was a little fishy, which considering it's cod, it should never taste like that. The mangoes were severely underripe, and the mango sauce that comes with it drenched the taco, it made a big pool on my plate. It was more like a mango popsicle or syrup. It just had no complexity, just super sweet. The breading on the fish was good though. As for the rice and beans, oh lord. The beans were good, I'll give them that, but the rice was like eating Ben's microwaved rice packets. It looks as good as it tasted. It was so dry, it clumped together a lot, and the vegetables were like something out of a ramen cup. Dehydrated and rehydrated but not well enough. It just seems very much so like a microwaved packet. Flavor was fine, it just seemed pretty stupid in my opinion to ask about $20 for this food when this is what you're getting. I could've made better at home is all I know. Ambiance wise it is a pretty place. Very moody with all the different lamps around the place. It almost felt like an antique lamp store. Overall, I don't see myself coming back, this place very much so belongs in a mall as far as I'm concerned. Better than a lot of the mall food, but still not good enough to be somewhere more stand alone.

Boca raton. Excellant mozzarella triangles ( takeout) but they forgot the sauce. Sooo disappointing.

    Margherita Pizza & Caesar Salad

First time visiting Maggie McFly's and my experience was a bit underwhelming. It was like a modern Cheesecake Factory vibe. Definitely somewhere to meet up or grab a few drinks. The menu was huge there was so much to pick from. The prices were kind of high in my opinion. The Korean bao buns were at least decently sized and the flavor wasn't so bad. The chicken was just so big for the bun I kind of wish they cut it in half and added 2 more buns so it was more proportionate. I ordered the 1/2 margherita pizza and 1/2 Caesar salad. The salad unfortunately was my favorite part which was sad because I was looking forward to a good pizza. The pizza was super bland and very thin. The cheese slid right off and what was left underneath was almost as thin as a sheet of paper honestly. I asked for ranch to try and add some flavor to it but the ranch was so watery and sour. It didn't really taste like ranch, more like cheese I'm not quite sure. My husband got a potato pizza and was also not impressed. Our server wasn't bad! We had a huge party to celebrate a birthday and she was the only one working so I don't like to complain about slow service when it's just one person and 25 people. Overall I don't think I'd recommend this place for the price. It wasn't worth it to me. Next time I try, I'll def try some different dishes. Maybe pizza wasn't their thing.

This was our 3rd visit here (I always wait to review after we have tried a place a few times, unless we are out of town). The menu is EXTENSIVE, which always worries me. I watch so much Robert Irvine and Gordon Ramsay that I know of your menu is huge, you probably aren't doing anything well. Not so here. All 4 visits, I have been very happy with our meals. Tonight was a family dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor seating is nice. We sat indoors tonight. It IS loud, though. But it's clean, even the bathrooms. We started with the giant soft pretzel appetizer, as we always do, when soft pretzels are on the menu. A soft pretzel is a soft pretzel, it's the dipping sauces that set a place apart. While our pretzel was a tiny bit overdone, the cheese and mustard sauces really made up for it. SO good!!! I could eat a bowl of both with a spoon. I had the "giant BLT Wedge" salad. I say giant, because it was under the Giant Salads section of the menu. It wasn't giant though. Not even a quarter wedge of an Iceberg head. Just 3 slices out of the middle. It was pretty straight forward with bacon, tomatoes and blue cheese dressing. Tasty enough, but really could have been better with some chunks of blue cheese and maybe a balsamic reduction drizzle. I also ordered truffle fries. They were cooked perfectly, though there was way too much "shaken cheese," (which is what I call Parmesan from a can. It took away from the truffle flavor. My meal is why they are losing a star. Hubby had the ribeye, which was cooked to rare perfection. He said his side Ceasar was very tasty. His steamed broccoli was pretty standard fare. The kid went with the Mac & Cheese burger which was really good, though messy. He ate it with fork and knife. It isn't like other Mac & Cheese burgers in the area where they just throw some Kraft deluxe on a burger. Kudos for that. father in law had the Tuna, blackened and cooked mid-rare. He was very happy with it. Service was great, as were the drinks. The cocktails were a bit inconsistent. I had 3 PB Mochatinis (don't judge) and all 3 tasted differently. Different bartenders maybe? We will definitely be back. They do a lot of different food on that crazy big menu, but I haven't had anything yet that I wasn't happy with.

I've always seen this restaurant when doing my wine tasting so decided to give it a try. Overall it was an odd first experience. The host that took us to our table was in good spirits with a contagious smile! We were promptly greeted by our service. Since this was our first visit and the menu is large we asked for recommendations and he didn't have any specific suggestions. We ordered the egg roll sampler, bbq bacon cheeseburger, and the short rib grilled cheese. The egg rolls are very filling. You get the southwest, buffalo chicken, Philly, and Big Mac. The Buffalo was most flavorful, Philly was good but the meat lacked flavor, and the Big Mac was good but the pickle took over. The bbq bacon burger was missing the bbq sauce and had to be returned as the bacon wasn't well done as requested. Now the weird part. The short rib grilled cheese has bbq sauce on it and a side of tater sauce in the place. Thinking I was brought the wrong sandwich and didn't have time to deal with the error. Pretty sure it was brisket and with the fat, onion, and cheese textures together I wasn't a fan. Some like fat but that's why I didn't order brisket. The truffle fries had the parm pulled on top and the ends of the fries were soggy. When I lifted the paper come I could see all the oil gathered - enough that I was able to pour it out into the metal cup pictured. Normally truffle fries are tossed with the ingredients and this seemed to be layered. Overall the atmosphere was nice. The restaurant was clean. The chairs at the bar are stunning and the employees at the host stand have the right energy! I would give the restaurant another chance if in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Ambiance is nice and modern. The restaurant truly is pretty. It's also big inside so it can accommodate many. We ordered mozzarella sticks for apps and they were well cooked and so yummy. My dinner was Alfredo, and I wasn't a fan. It was very milky in my opinion

    Buffalo Chicken Pizza
    Desiree B.

While our service was great, the food absolutely fell short of amazing. I had the buffalo chicken pizza, my mom had the risotto and our friend had a pasta dish. We didn't try any drinks which maybe they put more thought and effort into those since they have a HUGE selection. So if you're a person who cares more about the drinks over the food then this may be your place. Would I try them again perhaps. The atmosphere was a very laidback place yet very well maintained. They have plenty of tvs as well.

My visit here was on July 4, 2026. The outside of the place isn't hard to find or see. When you look at it from the outside, it looks more like a tropical type of theme. Parking did seem pretty limited as they were busy when my mom and I got here. Based on that, parking can be severely limited during peak times. Once we came inside, it definitely looked like a tropical theme, which was easy to see throughout the place. Another big thing I noticed as soon as we came in (and remained the case the entire time) that it was excessively loud. It was hard to hear each other, and even our server. I never got over to the outdoor seating area as it was pretty busy. We were greeted by a hostess at the counter and we were immediately seated. With it being busy as it was, our server came over to the table and said she would be back shortly, though it was a bit longer than expected. Someone else came by to ask if we wanted water while waiting for her to come back and we both did that. Once she was able to come to the table, we weren't quite ready to order yet, but I did get the Bay Bloody Mary. The Bay Bloody Mary was good and did have a kick to it, as expected, though more than I thought. It was still good though. After a few more minutes, we were ready to order. I decided to go for The Lesner With a Waffle as the main course item, scrambled eggs, and bacon with Cheese Grits and a Fried Biscuit as the side items. My mom ordered the Jamaican Dark Rum French Toast entree with bacon and a fruit skewer. Given how busy it was, I was surprised that food came out about ten minutes later after ordering. The food looked really good and hot when it came out. I don't normally do a waffle, but that waffle was really good. I only put butter on it as I didn't want to add even more sugar to the meal already. The bacon was nice and crispy as requested. I wasn't sure how the Cheese Grits would be, but they were surprisingly good. The last item I had was the Fried Biscuit. Wow that one was a highlight for sure, though I won't do that one too often. My mom said the entree she had was good too and there were no issues. Overall, this was a good visit. I would give it 3.5 stars but rounding to 4 in this case due to the great food. The biggest negatives were the noise levels, as it was hard to talk to anyone there, and they automatically add an 18% tip for all transactions, regardless of party size. Given the circumstances, the service was good too. I will come back in the future, but maybe not on a weekend or around a holiday where it gets busier than normal. This place is worth checking out if you are in the area and looking for something to choose from to eat at.

The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied. As well as Chef Braedon for coming out to introduce himself and explain the magic he placed on our table. My friends and I will most definitely be back.

You would never suspect the great atmosphere of this venue from the location. But the charm of the place really isn't the story. This is the kind of place that offers a gastro pub menu and they do not disappoint with a familiar yet unique menu offering some truly great dishes and perhaps the best burgers in VB. Definitely coming back.

Our first table ended up being under a spotlight that was directly in our line of sight (it looked like it was meant for the specials board), so we asked to move. Staff was accommodating and got us to a better table quickly. The space itself is really nice. It was clean, rustically decorated, and the live plants in liquor bottles on the tables are a nice touch. Our server was friendly from the start and took drink orders right away. My daughter and I had sodas, and my husband ordered the Southern Charm Old Fashioned off the specials menu, which he enjoyed. The menu is on the smaller side, which we actually like. One unique detail was the option to "buy a round for the kitchen," which we thought was a really nice touch and decided to add it when we ordered our appetizer. We started with the fried deviled eggs after a friend recommended them. They were creative with three styles (classic with pickle, togarashi ginger, and crispy prosciutto), but overall a bit on the dry side and not as flavorful as we expected. We asked for Dijon, but they don't have it. Our server suggested and brought out the Baja dipping sauce instead, which did pair well and kind of improved them. My husband had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. He said the fish was flaky and well cooked. I ordered the Union grilled cheese, which unfortunately seemed like it had been sitting a bit before being served, as the bottom was soggy. It was just okay overall and not particularly memorable for the price. The sweet potato fries on the side were the clear standout. They were crispy, the perfect balance of sweet and salty and honestly the best part of the dish. Our daughter had the kid's smashburger. It was exactly that. Service throughout the meal was good. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and there when needed. The main disappointment came at the end. When our meals were served, the server actually offered sauces at the table (ketchup, mayo, ranch, etc.), and specifically suggested items like the baja sauce for the eggs and ranch to us. Because of that, we were surprised to see several charges for the sauces on the bill, especially since they were offered and recommended at the table with no mention of any additional cost. We were also charged a credit card fee, with no signage anywhere (entrance, hostess stand, or menu) indicating that paying with a card would include an extra charge. It just left an unnecessary sour note on an otherwise solid, casual meal. Nothing was bad, and nothing really stood out as exceptional, but the lack of transparency around those final charges really impacted the overall experience for us.

The biscuits and jams are a must try, the blueberry and peach jam are fantastic. We both did the half sandwich with a side and got so full! A great, cheap, lunch special! This place has a great southern vibe, but still feeling modern and bright. Loved our experience!

Before entering I noticed a Sign on the door warning about the delay due to short staffing in the kitchen. I appreciated the transparency and with no timing restrictions decided to proceed. The menu has a good variety of food and beverage options. They even have mocktails and can make any mimosa (flavor) non-alcoholic. For breakfast I opted for coffee (free refills), and the Chicken and Waffles, specifically the Life's a Peach option. Coffee was good, not too strong, not too weak! The meal was also good, think peach cobbler, with chicken. The waffle was thick and soft. The chicken was lightly seasoned and crispy. The peaches were on top of the chicken, but I think on top of the waffles would have been a better call (so I reconfigured things myself). Half way through eating I noticed the candied pecans were missing so I asked my waitress because I was interested in trying them with the dish. She noted that they didn't have them and haven't been able to get any for over a week. While I would have ordered the dish anyway, it would have been nice to be told upfront. Another downside of the meal was the third chicken tender was all batter, I didn't see a bit of meat in there. Check out the picture and let me know if you see it. Anyway, while the hostess - first interaction with the business - wasn't very warm, I found everyone else I interacted with to be very hospitable. I enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it.

First, let me say the service was absolutely TOP TIER! The staff was attentive, friendly, and the overall atmosphere definitely gave that elevated dining experience. I don't mind paying for a fine dining experience as long as the food matches the experience. We started with the crab dip appetizer, and honestly it was solid. Definitely a good appetizer choice. For drinks, I kept it simple with a tequila sunset and substituted pineapple juice for orange juice a good drink! Now for the meals. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. I hate to even say this because I had such high hopes, but the lamb chops lacked seasoning for me. I ordered them medium, but they were definitely more medium rare. I love a medium rare ribeye, but not so much with lamb chops. The mashed potatoes and green beans were decent, but overall needed a little more flavor. My husband had the Butcher's Burger with wedges. He said it was a solid burger, slightly overcooked, but still good overall. He did enjoy the different flavor the pork belly added. My daughter ordered the Pasta Pescatore and said it was good, but not necessarily an "oh my goodness, I have to come back for this" type of dish. Overall, because so many people told me I would LOVE The Butcher's Son, I think my expectations were extremely high. The experience and service were excellent, but the food itself didn't completely wow me. It was good, just probably not my first choice for a return visit.

The atmosphere is nice, the food is spectacular, service this time was just ok but not something that would ruin our night. Our waiter was very absent for the most part, it did take a while for us to get our drinks and order; not much check backs for refills and such but overall he was a good server. The food is always amazing, I've never had a negative experience for their food. And the location is nice. The establishment is clean, more on the higher end, we came in dressed to impress for our date but you had a mix of how people were dressed. Down to just your everyday wear. 10/10 recommend
