To be honest we love your food! For the most part the service is good or just ok. What I do not like is being nickeled and dimed for food. The cheese sticks here are better than 99% of places I have been too! However they give you a 2 oz container of marinara(that's not full) of sauce then charge for any extra... if I spend 60-100$ here a week... this is insane! Take better care of your customers! We were looking for a new location to watch Sunday football and left this place very disappointed. We understood and were patient with the fact that they were understaffed (who isn't?) but their one waitress was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. A good attitude can go a long way. Instead, she made our whole party feel uncomfortable. We waited over two hours for them to put our football game on one of the seven tv's (we were the only people on the patio) and it never happened. On the plus side, the food was good (burgers and tots were good, wings and fries were average). If they're going to publicize that they're a great place to go to watch football, they have to be prepared for the Sunday games. read more

This used to be our hangout ages ago when they were in Hutto. I missed them! We recently found a Buffalo Bills watch party at this location and I was excited to get Maggiores wings again! The crowd was great and welcoming (met some really great folks) and the food was as good as I remembered. The wait staff did a good job considering how crowded the patio was. The honey wasabi wings were YUM and packed a punch, and I had to get my standard lemon pepper, which were great as well. The wings were a really good size. I didn't get a pizza, but my Bill's partner did and gave it the NY thumbs up. He was also very excited to have Molson and Labatt Blue, evident by our final tab. read more

Did and order of wings today for medium hot and got honey barbecue (gross) kinda hard to mess up wings....I also added in some tots which were nothing special and maybe there were 10 of them. So I paid 30 bucks for the wrong order and crappy tots. Then when I went in I had to hunt someone down to get the order and pay. All there are in there are a bunch of loud, drunk people and the staff is not very attentive but thats what you get when you pay young girls to do a job. Not gonna go back or order anything else as there are so many other places that are better and cheaper that here. read more

Worst pizza EVER! We ordered 2 pizzas to take home. The pepperoni had 1 piece of pepperoni on each slice and the deluxe pizza had maybe 1 piece of each topping on each slice. Very skimpy on toppings! The crust tasted stale. The cheese tasted fake. We will not be eatting there again! read more

Stopped into their lounge have a few drinks and apps. Immediately noticed there were no social distancing measures in place. Every sofa was jammed with large parties. Tables were full. The bartender had her mask looped behind her ears but pulled under her chin. The bar back wore his on/off. My drink was ok. I ended up drinking one and leaving. It felt like Covid Central. I recently did a search on Yelp for "bar" near Cedar Park expecting to see our usual local stops but was surprised when Maggiore's popped up. I ignored this place for sometime now, assuming it was a take out pizza joint. Maggiore's has a nice size bar with a decent beer selection. The wine by the glass is limited to your undrinkable magnum bottles but they do offer wine by the bottle. A bottle that costs $10 at HEB sells for $25, I would like to say ouch, but that does come to $5 a glass which is fair. The food menu, although mostly Italian themed, is somewhat diverse with items like baby back ribs, buffalo wings, 5 different salads (some with the option to order family style, and your typical bar apps. I ordered a cheese and garlic pizza and LOVED it! They also have a recent addition of a nice size, covered patio. read more

This place has it all amazing service and the happy hour is fantastic 2-7 and reverse happy hour. From 10 -11 and on sundays every game with all day happy hour. Brandon the manager is always a super big help making sure drinks and food is delivered properly and honestly makes the entire place seem so friendly and a good place to get good drinks and great food as well I personally feel like the entire place has better vibes cuz of the staff. I love coming to this place. I love the waitress and she's always so cool and very friendly. We were there on a Sunday and they have happy hour all day which is a huge plus. We ordered chips and hot sauce and usually I love it but this time it was a little off but usually it's really good and I enjoy it. Their queso is some of the best I've had. We always order the chicken wings with the hot teriyaki sauce. The hot teriyaki sauce is to die for yummy. Their pizzas are also delicious the mozzarella is is really good and their sauce is zesty. It's one of our favorite places to go on a regular basis. Highly recommend it if you're in this area. We ordered a lot of stuff on the menu through our visits and we're never disappointed read more

We came back here to eat a few days ago. As stated in my original posting, I do come here often but just to have a drink and watch sports...but we decided to give the food another chance. Why? Because after my review I was contacted and asked about what we ate and what could be better. I was impressed that they were trying to take customer feedback to improve their menu. I was excited when we sat down because they had a new food menu...and then immediately saddened because nothing had changed. Same crappy salad selection, etc. So I opted for a small pizza...which is good but I there are many places with better pizza. My husband got a chicken quesadilla...which came out as a ground beef quesadilla...yuck. $10 for half a club sandwich? My wife and I went for dinner, I ordered a Mag's burger and she ordered a club with a side salad. Her salad was delivered and a minute or two later our food arrived. As stated above, who sells half a club sandwich for $10? I got a delicious, good sized burger for the same amount. We asked the waitress and she said that's the portion so we sent it back. To add insult to injury, the price of the side salad went for $1.99 to $3.99 after they took the club off the bill. Had I known that we would have refused it all and found another restaurant. Pretty cool place!! Easy access to the venue - plenty of parking and if you run of $$$ - you are just a hop, skip and jump from a bank :-) Service was great - they were very attentive to us, polite, outgoing and upbeat. Food was good (just a little greasy on the cheese bread), prices were decent - especially on Wednesdays, you get a $5.00 1/2 Litre Carafe of their delicious House Wines :-) It does tend to get a little loud in there but it is OK and managable. Good thing is they don't allow smoking inside the venue!! The booths are all wood and can seat six comfortablely. I do plan on returning for experience many more good times there. read more

So it's one of two bars in my neighborhood. While our neighborhood bars aren't the greatest they are all we have. Maggiore's is the only one with a full bar in so close to home. Ever since we canceled our cable service I find myself in occasional need of a sports bar to catch my Cowboys play on Monday Night Football. I've gone to Maggiore's twice in the past football season. Once I just enjoyed an appetizer and a drink. I forgot what they called it but the appetizer consisted of freshly fried thin chips, blue cheese crumbles, green onions, and bacon. Despite the guilt over the calorie avalanche on my plate I quite enjoyed it. On another occasion I had their burger and fries. The burger was thick, juicy and quite respectable. I'd eat that again for sure. The fries, on the other hand, were a disaster. It's another case of a restaurant that breads its fries. Damn it, why do they do that? Ruining a perfectly good food like that. I'd like to give them 3.5 stars and then deduct a star for the potato atrocity bringing them to 2.5 stars. So I suppose 3 stars is good compromise. read more

Worst. Salad. Ever. Ok, so I know this probably isn't the best place to get a salad but how can you mess up a salad? I'll tell you how. I ordered the grilled chicken salad on my second visit (this was the 2nd chance visit, the pasta I ordered the first time we ate here was equally bad) There was barely any chicken and it was cold and cubed, the rest of the salad looked like they took items from the burger topping section of the kitchen and threw it into a bowl. Iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, big rings of red onion, and a crapload of black olives. (which were tough to pick out, but hey, I forgot to say "no olives") That's it. I've had better fast food salads. I'm still pissed that cost me $8. On to the good points, the service was okay and we managed to find one clean table at 2 in the afternoon. It took us almost two years to make it back and give Maggiore's another try, but it was well worth it. Let's start with the food. We had mozzarella sticks and pepperoni rolls for appetizers, and both were amazing. The moz sticks were big and hand-breaded, and the rolls were as good as I remember them (Brooklyn Heights on Lakeline should take note). Based on the experience documented in my last review, I wanted to give the burger another try so I ordered the Mag Burger. I don't say this lightly, it was perfect. The burger was exactly medium rare as ordered, and the fried egg wasn't overcooked so the yolk drizzled delightfully over the rest of the burgery goodness. My son's chicken tenders (also hand breaded) were so good I had a hard time restraining myself from poaching bites off his plate. The service this time around was impeccable. Our waitress (Sedona) was on point throughout every aspect of our meal, from greeting us within a minute of being seated, to asking for my son's autograph when he told her he wanted to be a musician when he grew up. You know i stopped in a couple times a few months ago with my kids once during the day and once during the evening. After waiting a loooong time a hostess sat us. A server half heartedly greeted us, probably because i had two little ones with me. Mind you i didnt realize it was a sports bar but i wasnt expecting judgmental service. After a long wait she brought us our sodas. After asking questions about the menu it was obvious the server didnt want anything to do with us so i paid for my drinks and left. It's all about Tuesday nights at this place if you are hungry... $6 burgers & fries. These aren't just burgers though. These are hand patted burgers. You can tell they didn't arrive in a box of frozen beef ripped apart and thrown on the grill to defrost. definitely fresh and almost as good as my own (yeah I am a little biased). Service is hit or miss but it never sucks. Service being defined as the time it takes to come from the kitchen. I think the food relocation engineers are pretty responsive. I've had the stromboli & pizza which is also good but after a Tuesday night at the baseball fields across the street the burgers are drawing me in. Have review Maggiore's in the past and always been a positive experience. But, the last few times have been a bit lacking and after this past weekend, felt I needed to do a quick review. My daughter was having a sleepover with about 8 friends and they wanted spaghetti, meatballs and breadsticks. I called and talked to the hostess and she assured me that one meal would feed two-12 year old girls. I placed my order and it was ready to go on time. The bar was busy, post KY Derby but the bartender was attentive and quick as usual. The issue, not the service. The issue, the dinner. I included a picture of one of the 5 spaghetti and meatball dinners I received and it was the best of the 5. It was basically a box of noodles, two meatballs, only one breadstick a glob of cheese and almost no sauce. I literally had to open a jar of sauce to make the meal edible. If one of the meals was a little light on the sauce or two, not a big deal. But this was just a painful experience on how it was prepared. We will be going back to Maggiore's as it is really a nice, local place and hoping our last few visits were an anomaly and not a trend. read more

Great place, and the staff always hustles. I've been coming in here for years and I can tell when they are short handed, but others would never know. The owner came in with his wife and friends during the busy time, and didn't hesitate to help. Again, nobody was ever complaining, but it's just an example how to run a business. I love Maggiores and frequent the restaurant at least a couple of times a week, until recently. It is so hot inside. I get that it's 105 outside, but when I come inside to enjoy a cold beer I would like the atmosphere to be comfortable. I've been coming here since you opened this location and every summer it seems to get hotter and hotter in here. I'm really looking forward to College Football Season, but if the a/c doesn't get fixed I'm not sure how many games I'll be able to enjoy here. Sometimes I crave a sloppy meatball sandwich, but I just didn't for a long time where to go to get one. This will be where I go. Their lunch special Italian meatball sandwich is a monster. I almost didn't order this as I was having a lunch meeting with a local public figure and wanted to look my most professional. However, I gave in and I was rewarded for lack of decorum. It's three large Italian meatballs (seasoned the way they should be and not just ground up meat rolled into a ball. Their sauce is basic, but chunky and delicious. The mozzarella cheese is a thick and it's stringy, so it gives the effect of a messy sandwich, which I love. It's served on a hoagie bun that falls apart, the way it should. The fries are good, but basic. I'm only giving this a 3 star because I haven't had anything else here. read more

I would consider myself a regular of this place - or better stated - I was a regular. By that I mean I was there 2X per week. Good Points: Nice TV's. Bar Staff are attentive. The general setup is nice. Wings are good. Bad Points: Food Quality has declined. Bathroom cleanliness has declined. The Pizza while not bad has declined over the last 3 months. It feels to me they are getting cheap on quality of ingredients and the amount. Salads: Not a lot of creativity. Bag of Salad type of salad. Dressings bland. Sandwiches: Again decent but not great. Wine: Really poor choices for by the glass. Basic red, white. Music: Mostly this placed play upbeat pop/rock that would appeal to most. nothing offensive etc just good rock n roll. Lately for some reason when I have been in the place there is country music playing. I am not talking about cool J. Cash or Willie or Dwight. I am talking sappy love song ballad country tunes. OVER and OVER. Does not get you in the mood to have a "Happy Hour". I asked about it once and was told that it could not be changed. Ok. So I will change. Generally, this is a neighborhood place and at one time felt above average but is in the decline. I will bottom line it. It is like a relationship. When this place opened it's food was above average (not awesome) but solid and there was attention to detail. Now that it has been open and has customers, it has become average to below average with its food offerings and that attention to detail is gone. My customer experience is low. Went in to watch the Browns Lions game. Didn't think I would find a local sports bar that was showing the game while the Cowboys and the Texans were playing, well I was pleasantly surprised. Sat at the bar, for a great view of the game! Stevie was our bartender and he took great care of us. We had a few beers and then at half time ordered dinner. They have a great variety of items, but I was in the mood for pizza. Ordered the medium deluxe thin crust and was blown away. It was one of the best I've ever had. Thanks Steve, and the entire Maggiore's staff for an almost perfect night. Only complaint it was a little warm in the restaurant. It was in the mid 90's when we went in there and apparently their AC wasn't working as well as it should have been. It is an ongoing problem i heard. I had been driving by for a few months and saw that there is always a crowd of cars in the parking lot. Tonight we decided to stop by and check the place out. We came in and were promptly greeted and seated. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and knew what he was doing. The menu is nothing ground breaking and honestly is kind of boring. They don't do anything special, but what they do, they do very well. We started with a chicken strip appetizer that was cooked to perfection. The breading was top notch and for once the chicken wasn't cooked to death, still had moisture and wasn't tough as nails. My wife and I both ordered stromboli and were very surprised at the quality of them. We both have lived on the east coast and have had some top notch stromboli. This was as good as any of them. They came out promptly and the attention to detail was apparent. I would have given it another star if the menu hadn't have been so boring. I would like a little bit more imagination in the apps and a few more choices in the pizza toppings. Things like artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes or feta and pesto. None of those things are high food cost items and are widely available. Regardless, I will be back and will recommend it to friends and neighbors. read more

I go here fairly often and after 2 years of living in the area I don't think I've ever been disappointed. The drinks are reasonable and the people are nice. Sometimes the little league families get a little annoying with the kids running around the bar area, but it's not like parents don't police up their kids. The food is surprisingly good. When I first went in I want expecting much. The sandwiches are filling and yummy. I usually get the chicken sandwich, but the pasta salad is kind of an odd pairing. The pizza is ok. Being from the Chicago area, I have a high standard for pizza. Sometimes it's too crispy and greasy, sometimes it's too thick; however more often than not is somewhere in the middle. I really, really wish they did a thin crust. The toppings and sauce they use would make a thin crust with extra cheese fricken amazing. Good pizza is hard to find in texas. Their other food is really good too. The wings are on par with pluckers, but cheaper. Also, get the pizza rolls. They are great drinking food. read more

The name of this place leads you to be believe it is an Italian restaurant. It is not. It is a sports bar. It is not a dive, but not far from it. There are four large TVs above the bar showing sports events. But there is also a smaller TV in the corner of the bar blaring out heavy metal music from MTV videos. I found that loud music annoying and totally not needed. I ordered a Reuben sandwich (as did the gentleman sitting next to me at the bar). Both sandwiches were extremely over cooked. Although the bartender discounted the sandwiches 50%, the experience was not a pleasant one. If you want a drink and much better bar food, go to Top Spin. It is only 2 minutes away. read more
