I called my local branch, I was informed that there was even a $200 rebate from a Bosch and HomeWise appliance partnership and an additional $50 install rebate from shopping local rather online. Including delivery, haul away, parts, and install, my total was $1350 (out the door price)-200-50=$1,100. A steal of a deal especially when other places charge $1350 +tax when on sale with no rebates or install. My customer service rep, Ling Wang, also informed me of an included deal of a free 10 year major component warranty fulfilled through AllState and a 3 month supply of dishwasher pods. Additionally, if ordering through the local branch, I was informed that the local branch would handle processing the warranty on my behalf rather than ordering fully online and having to go through the HomeWise 800 number. Ordering local is the way to go. Ling was extremely professional and sent me an itemized receipt after our call. . I was able to have it delivered just two days after my order. When the delivery day came, the estimated time window was from 2-6 pm. They called me prior to their arrival at 2:30 and confirmed the address and time. When they arrived, they took apart my old dishwasher and were careful to get it out and even uninstalled the under cabinet pull out trash can to get better access. After uninstalling and hauling away, we had around 10 minutes to clean behind the washer area. They quickly installed the new dishwasher and that whole process took under 30 minutes. When including testing, clean up, and even the reinstallation of my trash can, the whole process was 1 hour. It was a lightning fast install. Overall, the process was so smooth and was a great deal. I'd come back here for any future appliance needs.

It was our 1st time at the store and NO one approached us despite multiple people at their desk with no customers. In fact- I had to walk over to ask a rep for assistance (is no one here motivated to sell units/increase their #'s??)! I will keep his name anonymous for the review, but mgmt certainly knows who our rep was. We made the purchase back on 5/17/26 (paid in full) and were told we would be contacted during the week to schedule the delivery. I waited 8 business days 5/28/26 to be contacted which no one did, so I decided to reach out to the sales rep and left a voicemail since he did not answer. I also sent an email just to have the communication documented. At NO point during the sales transaction were we informed that the fridge was NOT in stock or on backorder. 5/29/26 Rep sends me a text that the fridge in en route to the warehouse for 6/10/26 arrival. Of course I hear nothing on 6/10/26 so I reach out to check on the status only to be informed it's still on backorder until 6/29/26! They did offer a $200 credit due to the delay which we appreciated- but then the recurring theme of NO proactive contact to customers as today is 6/30/26, and again I had to reach out for status of our fridge. This time the rep said, "Unfortunately, the Kitchen Aid is not coming in. We can cancel and refund you if you like.". And that is exactly what we decided to do as we have zero intention to purchase from Homewise Appliance nor could we recommend in good faith that you will receive good service based on the terrible experience/ordeal we had to go through. We just wanted a good working fridge by the end of May when big box stores like Lowes had the same exact model in stock with next day delivery! 44 days after our initial purchase and we just placed our order with Costco.com which we probably should have done in the first place. Don't believe the hype with their commercials as that was far from what we experienced...

I called the store and they promptly came out to diagnose what might be the problem. I want to specially recognize their strong commitment to stand behind their sales. Definitely would recommend this place.

I am extremely disappointed with the after-sales service I received from San Jose Appliance Store…read moreand intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When my old oven stopped heating, I decided to replace it rather than repair it. I found San Jose Appliance Store through Craigslist, contacted Anthony, and arranged delivery of a used oven. The oven was delivered promptly, and my old oven was hauled away for an additional fee. Unfortunately, after installation, I discovered that the front burner would not ignite properly. When it did light, it often released gas into the kitchen first, creating what I believed to be a serious safety concern. To the company's credit, they sent a technician to inspect the stove. The technician was courteous, but the repair was unsuccessful. During the visit, brake cleaner was sprayed inside my kitchen, leaving strong fumes throughout the house. My wife and son both complained about the odor, and my son later developed a headache. A few days later, another repair attempt was made when a replacement part was brought to my home unannounced. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. I then contacted GE directly and discovered that the serial number listed in the advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I learned the stove was also missing two racks and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent about $150 replacing those items. I was also unable to obtain a proper invoice because I was mistakenly given another customer's paperwork. When I raised these concerns, I was told the stove had been sold "as is" despite the advertised 30-day warranty. I was also told the missing parts and defective burner were merely cosmetic issues and accused of "trying to demand money." To be clear, I never demanded money. I simply asked the company to provide the correct replacement part so the stove could be repaired safely and function as represented. That request was never fulfilled. Anthony briefly suggested a trade-in arrangement, but multiple messages later indicated that no exchange would take place. The only remaining option offered was another repair attempt, by which point I had lost confidence in the process. Adding to my frustration, I later discovered that the oven I paid to have hauled away was being advertised for resale on the company's website. At this point, I have purchased the necessary burner part myself and will hire a qualified technician to complete the repair. This has been an expensive lesson. I was not seeking a refund, discount, or special treatment. I simply wanted an oven that worked safely and a company that stood behind its warranty. Update: In response to the owner's reply, I would like to clarify a few points. My concerns remain unchanged. The oven was sold with a faulty burner, and despite two repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. I also did not "demand" money. I initially proposed a simple solution: that the business owner obtain the correct replacement part and ship it to me, which would have eliminated the need for any refund. When no effective resolution was provided, I purchased the correct part myself. This was not merely a cosmetic matter. The issue involved a burner that failed to ignite properly and allowed gas to accumulate before lighting, which I considered a legitimate safety concern. At this point, I no longer expect this business to honor its warranty when doing so is inconvenient or costly. My review is based solely on my personal experience. I encourage prospective customers to consider all available information, including both the owner's response and customer reviews, and make their own informed decision.

Turned out to be an excellent choice. I sent out my "SOS" on a Sunday afternoon and got a response within 30 minutes fain Marian offering a mid-day Monday service visit. I said yes, he arrived as promised (with an advanced message saying he was on his way). He had the problem correctly diagnosed in about a minute, and the needed part available, and had it installed all in less than an hour. I thought his price was reasonable, particularly in light of the excellent super fast service. Marian is now in our contacts for the first one we'll call if (probably when) we need another appliance service. Overall, excellent, fast friendly service. Can't ask for more. Thanks.

Most think the homeowners are not knowledgeable and we aren't, otherwise we would fix it ourselves. However, we have everything else you need to be a judge of a clean, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient repair person. Marian's first visit was to vacuum out our Thermador refrigerator and garage fridge. I wasn't in the mood to meet him but my husband told me how he worked. I liked what I heard. About 2 weeks later the heavier door on the Thermador fridge slumped. To be honest, it wasn't to my satisfaction brand new, the door was sticking out a little but after a remodel of the entire home, one gets burnt out. Marian fixed the door better than the brand new one installed and showed us why and how the problem happened. The stove he changed the lights effectively and fast. Then the big question came from me, can you take the oven door off and take it apart to be cleaned? I've asked 2 other appliance companies if they could but they said it takes a long time and is not easy. Then I said, I can make a new appointment for this for you to come back. He said, he could fix it now. My oven door has 3 glasses. To watch him take off the door and apart was pretty amazing because of his calm, perfected work speed and stress-free demeanor. We all know talent when we see it. I think by now, I told him 3 times how happy I was, and thank you too. Lastly, if you are wise enough to call him for help then you must have done many great things in life to get him. Also, YES his prices are well thought out and fair and reasonable. If you are the kind of person who tries to get a lower price from businesses, don't call because you don't deserve him.

After two months of repeated "rescheduling" I began searching online to see if I could find a replacement. The exact model came up on the Appliance Hub website, so i decided to look into it. I called the store and the attendant took a generous amount of time to respond to my inquiry, and to answer my questions about why their unit was priced $600 less than anywhere else I had seen it (i.e. was there something wrong with it...?) She explained about the service that AH provides of supplying new appliances at reduced cost because either the box may have been opened and then returned or unopened boxes may have been returned, in which case AH obtains them and offers brand new, unused appliances for much less. Genious. The great deal was not, however, the most impressive part of my experience...the communication and customer service were excellent. I did everything by phone and text, had my new refrigerator within a week, and had constant, real person updates throughout the week. Anytime i replied to their messages, a personal response came back almost immediately. This company is a model for excellence on many levels. I'm so happy that my old order failed so that i could discover the Appliance Hub. Very impressed.
