I purchased my 2021 Escalade from this dealership back when it was under a different ownership, known as "Parkway Cadillac". My rating would for sure be less than 5 stars if I was to leave them a review before the new ownership, and before I changed service reps. A little backstory- My Escalade has had an oil issue since the beginning; it burns oil much faster than it should and I can't seem to ever make it to my scheduled oil change date, or milage, before my "add oil" light comes on. An employee once referred to my vehicle as a "Covid Car"! I've complained since the beginning but was told "it's normal", yet was also told, I'm not the only one complaining about this issue", and "it's because I leave my truck idling too much" (Has excessive idling hours). All of these Statements did not sit well with me and I found them to be ridiculous. Despite my many complaints, nothing was ever done about my issues, even after a supposed, " Oil consumption test" was performed and I needed a complete engine replacement after it WENT OUT! When I heard the dealership was under new ownership I went to meet John and Lisa to personally express my issues and frustration with the way my complaints had been handled so far. They were very understanding and I did feel they tried to take care of me, but by that time it was too late, it was now 2025! They are very friendly and seem to really care about their customers. I was lucky enough to accidentally be paired with a new (to me) service advisor,Francisco, during one of my "add oil" light issues. He immediately confirmed my feelings from the get-go, something wasn't right. He quickly dove into my extensive record history and actually took the time to personally reach out to GM regarding my documented complaints. He has been "ON IT" since the first time he saw me. He's currently conducting an OFFICIAL "oil consumption test" and going above and beyond to attempt to make things right. Sadly, so much time has been waisted and the window seems to be closed to help me as GM has denied replacing my engine (again). Even though my experience with my dream car has been nothing short of a nightmare; I mean, why should an owner of a vehicle costing more than $100k have to carry oil in their vehicle....my experience with the CURRENT OWNERS and service rep, Francisco, has been a breath of fresh air! I finally feel heard and know they are doing their best to help me, even though it seems like a lost cause to me at this point in my warranty (now relying on my extended warranty). I'm excited to soon get rid of this vehicle that I love so much but has caused me so many wasted hours of service hours and money in oil changes. I'm looking forward to the 2027 model which will hopefully NOT be another "Covid car", and I know I will definitely be coming to Magic as long as Francisco is here for all my service needs. He even helped guide us through additional DMV-related items, which we truly appreciated. His attention to detail and excitement made the experience even more memorable. We absolutely love the vehicle--but even more than that, we're grateful for the experience. The warmth, professionalism, care, and authenticity from this team set a new standard for what a dealership should be. We've been to many dealerships over the years, and this is, without question, the best experience we've ever had. If I can get this dealership, Magic Cadillac in Valencia a zero, I would. It first started this Early September when we were looking to initially buy a Cadillac Vistiq and over time we decided to lease for the very first time in life. We were divided between Rivian or Cadillac Vistiq. My husband visited for the first time, he took me back to test drive and then we decided to lease. That's when it went horribly wrong. He left messages that he was ready (we were trying to take advantage of the govt. deal for EVs ending in 2 weeks). He waited for ONE WEEK and he kept calling and NO one called him back. He was so frustrated he called Cadillac of Pasadena ( for we had 5 days left for the government deal for EVs) who called him back the SAME day so they quoted him the price. They locked it in and the next day we went and got our leased vehicle - all in less than 2 days whereas we have been dealing with Valencia for weeks (since my husband visited) and we were patient for weeks for we wanted to support local businesses and it seems no one wanted to sell us a car or lease us one. I read the other comments and they have similar experiences. If this is a franchise dealership, as an owner they need to start reading these comments for I won't be surprised if they lose business at the rate they are going. They need to train the staff to return phone calls and bottom line...care. read more

Don't even bother! If you're wondering why you can't easily find your local Valencia Cadillac dealership on your maps anymore, it's because they had to rebrand due to their awful reputation and business practices! Two years ago, I purchased a Cadillac from out of state and brought it to get warranty work done. When the service advisor, Linda, tried charging me $279.99, I said "No way!" Why should I pay out of pocket to get my car that is still under warranty even looked at!? So, all I did was get an oil change, for a cost I wish I had on hand, due to what happened today. Today, I brought in my other Cadillac that I bought from out of state to get its first oil change. I waited around for an hour and a half, got the usual joke from one of the service employees that they wanted to part out my engine, and finally, the car was ready. However, my wallet wasn't. I was charged $24/qt for oil, plus $90 in labor, and $12 for an oil filter, totaling to over $400 for an oil change. This was after I called to make my appointment and was told it would be $160 + a $20 discount for some promo they were running. What happened next shocked me. I had to negotiate on the spot with the service manager & advisor for a fair and reasonable price. Seriously?! They kept trying to tell me how that is the price for my type of car, which is an ongoing lie told by many service centers. Oil is oil, there should not be a 100% markup on such product. So, if you want to get screwed by an unprofessional dealer, take your fresh Cadillac in, but if you're a serious owner and want to be taken seriously, go to a dealer like Cadillac of Pasadena. read more
