    Menu of protein bowls

Got a 4oz burger for my kid and 2 separate kinds of protein bowls. So glad I decided to stop in. I took my food to go but the place was clean, and staff was friendly. Will def be coming back!

Bowl and large 2 item platter. So good!

What a great experience. We were greeted immediately by Ramon and he offered us each a small plate with samplings from the "hot bar" and explanations on all. None needed as they were all great! He explained how they do a bowl type meal as well as platters. We opted for a souvlaki chicken over Romain with as many add ons you wanted such as black or brown beans, grilled veg, roasted potatoes, corn, Kalamata olive, tom, cucumber, grape leaves, feta, tzatziki, hummus(we ordered a side as well and then one to go!) and a few other items. Other bowl was over Med rice w/barbacoa and gyro and a bunch of sides. First off, the gyro is off a spit, not reheated frozen flat pieces like in a take home kit, so it was thick, tender and so good. Everything in these were fresh and as the name implies, flavorful. You order at counter then sit. Ramon kept checking on us and kept our ice tea glasses full. Very attentive and professional. The place is spotless as far as we could see and bright. No blasting music, just light sounds of some and appropriate. As said, we had to take a hummus home and it comes packed with homemade pita crisps as well as a heated pita soft bread. All together great food and service experience and now we know for sure. Will be a staple in our dining out experiences. Side note- was a torrential downpour when we went to leave, before I gathered up my to go bag, Ramon had grabbed an umbrella and escorted my wife to our car while holding it over her alone!!! Wow, not that's how you win over customers, a real gentleman!!! If in GCS, do yourself a favor, it may look like a small lil out of the way place on the end of a gas/convenience store area, but do not let that discourage you from going, you will not be disappointed!! Also, whole meal, $34 bucks!!

This place is a GEM!! It isn't fancy but it IS delicious, bright, clean, and friendly. When we first walked in, they asked if it was our first time and proceeded to give us little tastes of everything! One was better than the next! Ended up getting a fresh bowl with Barbacoa and tiramisu. They were both so good. The ingredients were fresh and quality, plus it was seasoned to perfection. The meat was super tender. These are the kind of people, in the kind of place you want to give business.

I finally got a chance to try out Magic Flavor and was more than happy with my choice. Upon entering, I was promptly greeted by a young lady at the front counter. I mentioned it was my first time here since they had opened, and she was happy to provide a little sampler place consisting of rice, tzatziki sauce, chicken, pork, meatballs, beef, and barbacoa. Though everything was amazing, my heart was set on trying their gyros especially since she stated the meat was cooked on a spit in the back, so I placed an order for the combo with fries and a drink. It came out to be a fair $20 including tax and tip. Most of their offerings consist of building a bowl similar to popular fast casual Mexican-American business, but the quality here is more than a step up for similar pricing and better service. The gyro was stuffed with meat, fresh veggies, and above all: more tzatziki. I'd go as far as to say it's the best I've ever had with its consistency and flavor. The pieces of cucumber in the gyro itself helped to had texture and enhanced the flavor as well. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired nicely with the Heinz on the table. Impressed with the meal itself, I opted to purchase a piece of fresh baklava afterward. It blended crispy with savory and sweet for a perfect match. The place itself is a little quaint spot located on the edge of town, but don't let that fool you. There was plenty of space here, so seating shouldn't be a problem unless you catch a rush. For those interested, the employee said they can also handle large orders too! Green Cove should be happy to have another amazing spot that provides a different option from the norm. Give this place a try!

Magic Flavors Mediterranean Restaurant /Green Cove Magic Flavors is a real hidden gem! The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with a lot of love. We were giving a sample plate, and it was absolutely perfect. Meat options are vast. The pulled pork was my fave! -- juicy meat, fluffy rice, and a side salad that was actually crisp and refreshing. Their hummus and pita were some of the best I've had in the area.thwir Taziki sauce is addictive. So fresh. Lots of salad options, vegetarian options, burger, and more. If you arent adventurous...there's also quesadillas, fries, etc. The staff was super welcoming and helpful in explaining the menu. You can tell it's a family-run place, and they really care about making sure you leave happy...like family The portions were generous, and prices are very fair for the quality. The atmosphere is casual but clean, making it great for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. If you love Mediterranean food (or even if you've never tried it before), Magic Flavors is a must-visit! Not spicy and so full of flavor. --- Would you like a second version that's a little shorter or more formal too, depending on where you want to post it? Also, did you want me to mention any specific dishes you tried if you went there already?

Two of my friends and I decided to try this restaurant since it was relatively new. We were not disappointed. There is basically a Mediterranean menu but other dishes may be had as well. The chef was careful to prepare both my salad and sandwich without anything onion! That was very nice! Plenty of food on the servings, too! The waitstaff is very cooperative and pleasant. There's a bit of decor and perhaps they'll add to it as the months go by. I'm sure I will make a return visit!

Magic flavor is Magic. The food is fresh, delicious, and a good portion! The customer service was excellent. We mentioned it was our first time and they provided samples going over and beyond to make sure we found something we would like! The Mediterranean chicken bowl was customizable and super yummy!! We will be back!

Wanted something different so tried Magic Flavor. There is plenty of parking out front. They have a display case with various choices. They offered us a variety sample dish, nice touch. Everyone was friendly and we got our food quick. You pretty the counter. We ate at a booth. Everyone got a little something different and we were all very happy with our choices. The tazzicci was excellent I couldn't finish all my food and I was very satisfied. Highly recommend and will eventually try different dishes.

Always enjoy trying out new restaurants. When you walk in the front door you see two cases food and told the dishes are all homemade. Looks like lots of tasty items to choose from. We tried the gyros and much to our surprise the meat is pre-packaged - very bland. French fries and tzatziki sauce were both good. Staff were friendly and wanted to make sure we had a good dining experience. Bathroom was clean, as well as the rest of the restaurant. I would give this restaurant another try - ordering fresh homemade foods from the front cases. PS They shared a sample of the homemade hummus - excellent!

I would like to start off by saying that this review is long overdue. (I would have written it sooner, but I kept getting halfway through eating my food before I'd remember to take a picture of it still looking nice LOL) Today was third time going to Magic Flavor, and it did not disappoint. This time, as every time previously, I was greeted with a warm smile and a "Welcome in, how are you today?" the moment I walked through the door. They are always happy to see you and serve you. Magic Flavor has a wide variety of Mediterranean and American options to choose from. Everything is beautifully seasoned and made fresh daily. See something unfamiliar and new to you? No problem! They've always been happy to let you have a sample. In fact, the first time I went there, the owner insisted on whipping up a mini plate of an assortment of the meats and vegetables to choose from at the hot bar. All three times I've gone, I've always gotten a bowl. It's filling and satisfying, plus I love having wide variety of things on my plate when there are so many yummy things to choose from. Today I ordered a bowl with half chicken and half steak with white rice, black beans, roasted potatoes, corn, hot veggie medley, tomatoes and cucumbers, Kalamata olives, tzatziki, and one stuffed grape leaf. Delicious! My husband ordered the gyro with fries. He says he enjoyed everything, and I know the fries were good and well seasoned because I took two of them. As for the ambiance, the whole restaurant looks clean and neat. There's a decent sized area on the left side of the restaurant containing an alley of about 12 tables. Each table has some condiments and napkins. The napkin dispensers are awesome, they have hand written "thoughts of the day", bible verses, and jokes on them that they seem to change out frequently. I love seeing when mom and pop businesses add personal touches like that. Altogether, going to Magic Flavor has always been a great experience; the food is consistently delicious and fresh, and they're always happy to see you. What more could you ask for? I'm so happy to have such a great local eatery in my neighborhood. I encourage anyone reading this to try going there today! Make a trip to Green Cove Springs if you have to, it'll be worth it.

Mediterranean bowl - pick your own toppings! Sooo good!

The food is great, fresh and the serving size is awesome. They have $15 specials with an appetizer which is a good value. My husband and my MIL almost always order the small salad with gyro meat. Susan and I visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill expecting a traditional sit down restaurant…read moreand instead discovered a counter service spot that completely won us over. From the moment we walked in, the space felt clean, bright, and welcoming, with a simple Mediterranean style that made it comfortable to dine in. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, both dining in and picking up takeout, which immediately told us this place has built a loyal following. The food is where The Great Greek really shines. We started with the four dip combo, and honestly, that alone is worth the visit. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The tirokafteri had a bold kick that built just enough heat to keep things interesting. Paired with plenty of warm, soft pita, it is an easy dish to share and one we would happily order every time. For our main dishes, I ordered the gyro, which I often use as a benchmark when trying a Greek restaurant. The meat was flavorful, the pita was fresh, and the tzatziki sauce really stood out, tying everything together beautifully. The feta fries were another highlight and were hard to stop eating. Susan ordered the Atlantic salmon, and it ended up being the biggest surprise of the meal. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and paired with sides that complemented the fish rather than overpowering it. Portion sizes are generous, pricing feels very fair for the quality and amount of food, and service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Even though this is a counter service restaurant, staff brought the food to the table and checked in to make sure everything was just right. We even left with leftovers and dessert to enjoy later, which is always a good sign. What we thought would be a quick meal turned into a really enjoyable dining experience. This is a restaurant we will absolutely be returning to and one we are happy to recommend to anyone looking for great Greek food done well.
