First time at this nail shop, and I must say I liked it. One of my friends is a regular here and recommended that I give it a shot because my manicurist was very busy. It was a great decision glad I came and gave them a shot! They don't try to push you into getting gel like some places. I actually had to request it! I got a mani and pedi and requested no polish on my toes. The manicurist working on me didn't question it and did what I wanted it was nice not having that feeling of someone trying to persuade you into something you didn't want like all the extras design,gel,etc. I give this place 5 stars for their service and great job! This place is a BIG NO NO for me. I won't go back, I went for a pedi and acrylic. First the lady that was doing my pedi messed up and cut my nails all wrong. Someone else had to fixed them. Then when I asked for white V shape (as design) for my nails. The paint looked so gooey and it didn't even look like a V at all. I asked for another nail polish. I asked for dip gel which was a white, glittery, beautiful color but when she did it on my nails it looked yellow like my nails had fungus and she was going to send me off that way!!!! I was so upset. They put another glitter on top which makes my nails look so thick. Instead of giving me a discount, doing it over or even apologizing, they just disregarded their error. Their excuse!!! Oh, it looks yellow because of the natural nail color!!! REALLY?!? You think we're that dumb?!? My pedicure was another disaster- nails are crooked and polish is like a kid did it. So unprofessional! I come to a "nail spa" because I want professional work- I could have polished my toes better at home. I give them one star just because the guy was friendly & liked the fact that they took me in 30 minutes before closing. I Asked the price of a full set & told $17 and charged $35 at time of paying. I don't mind paying $35 for a good set but I was cut several times & the quality of the product is so cheap & noticeable. 2 days after they started lifting at the cuticle now not even a week old and they look like a typical 3 week old set for me. I asked the guy to make sure they weren't wide and said he understood although they are wide and ugly! Another lady finished the job because he had an emergency & you can see she noticed what a horrible job he had done Yet still over charged me I guess she charged me once for her service and once for his. I work in Montebello and was pressured on time to schedule a mani/pedi so i checked this place out. I scheduled an appointment for 12:15 for a pedi/mani and ended up arriving earlier than expected so they took me right in. Pretty cool I thought... Until they literally rushed me in, I didn't even get to pick my color. They just sat me down the pedicure chair and asked what colors I wanted. I usually spend about a few min selecting my color, however, here they asked and brought some gel colors for me. I found this to be pushy and uncomfortable. They then showed me the manicure/pedicure tools to reassure me that everything was in fact sterilized, which was reassuring. My gel manicurist who was a male began working on my hands. I requested a gel manicure. He cut me twice.. And shortened my nail when I specifically said only file. Another thing, the nails lasted ONE day. I was in a wedding that Saturday and the gel nail polish was coming off on 2 nails! Very disappointed. The quality of nails polish and the work itself convinced me that I will never come back here. :( so sad. read more

My manicure could have been better, it was a bit messy and my natural nail broke that night, so I was so disappointed. My pedicure was awful and my feet don't feel as soft. First time was good. Second time not so much. Whatever type of acrylic that they use here breaks very easily compared to other places that I've been to. I had a gel hombre full set done by Vanna the first time charge $45 which I thought was decent. She did a good job. After a week my middle finger broke off of doing nothing. My nails never break from other places.Long story short I went into get the one nail fixed And it took for ever. Vanna was working on one lady and said that she would take care of me afterwards so first a man removes my nail using just his nail which hurt. Then I was sent to another woman named Diane who placed the acrylic on my middle finger. I then got a pedicure and that was OK they told me 15 and it up paying 19 and it was a basic pedicure no sugar scrub no callus remover. Then they switched me to another woman to do the gel for the one finger. Vanna was still busy on another person a new person. They could not match the colors of the ombré. SoI told them I wanted a whole different color if they could not match it. This girl then send me back to Diane. So I've been passed around three times already more than an hour to fix one nail and a basic pedicure. Diane starts working on me and I picked a new gel color. She was just going to paint over my old Gel. That is pure laziness. I told her no remove the old jail I want a color change. She starts to remove the jar with the drill very carelessly it kept hitting my cuticles and was hurting. I politely told her can you please be careful. She was offended by that she said I'm not going to cut you. But I told her I can feel the heat on the drill on my cuticle if I don't move you will cut me I'm telling you it hurt. So then she continues and ignores me and does it again. I jumped because it hurts and she gave me attitude by huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes at me making noises. Very unprofessional. I said I was done I will go somewhere else let me pay for my pedicure and I am done. I explain to Wanda what happen Vanna wanted me to wait for her to finish a full set on someone else to fix my one nail. In order for us as customers new or returning we should feel welcomed & not wondering if the nail technicians are laughing @ us or saying horrible things, They should speak in english. Got my gel manicure on a Sunday almost all my nails are lifting from the nail bed. They didn't even clean the gel polish off my nail bed. Very sloppy, and so disappointed. I called to speak with the manager and explain the situation however I was told she wouldn't be coming in till past 10am. I waited and called at 11am and still "she's wasn't in" so that same day in the afternoon I went to the grocery store and parked right in front of the salon and called again. Asked for the manager (I was able to clearly see her) the lady that answered the phone said something in their language and she had the audacity to say. Sorry she didn't come in today. I said Vanna this us not what i want she said when i put the second coat is gonna be darker, i told her before going under the ligh to cook the gel. It is very light I DONT LIKE IT.
