I was asked to be a bridesmaid at a wedding 1 month before the date. I had to order my dress online from overseas, so you can imagine the anxiety I was going thru. Dress came about 10 days before the wedding. I found a seamstress with rave reviews, but 4 days holding on to my dress, I called to follow up. She had not started because she was relocating her store. I wasn't mad because I knew she was going through a move. I just wish I went with my gut feeling of going elsewhere due to time. I found Magic Touch on Yelp; they had great reviews and is closer to home. Keep in mind that it's 4 days before the wedding. I take my dress in. Mike did some measurements since Ms. MARY, the seamstress was not in until Wed, 2 days before the wedding on Friday. I got a call from Mike in the morning when Ms. MARY arrived. I came in and redid my alteration measurements so Ms Mary could see what was needed herself. She only works a few days there. I was so nervous because of the timeline. Mike was so calm and reassuring that they would take care of everything, no problem. When I came in Wed to get remeasured, I also brought my bf slacks to be hemmed. The next day, I got a call from Mike around 1pm. They had my dress and his slacks altered, cleaned, and pressed. I could not believe the quick turnaround. Ms MARY is MAGIC with her skills. I was SO HAPPY; I had to hug her. I couldn't believe she did this so quickly. She stayed late Wed to finish because she was not working Friday and she wanted to make sure she finished on time for the wedding. I highly recommend taking your alterations and cleaning to Magic Touch. Mike treated me like I was family, and it was my first visit. Ms Mary was so sweet and listened to everything I wanted. I was trying to be more conservative, and she said, "A little sexy cleavage is okay." I will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Mike and Ms Mary, for being so wonderful! They're just way to expensive and they close at 5pm ..when a good majority of people are getting off of work. It's just not practical.

They cleaned my wedding dress, my groom's suit and my son's wedding suit & everything came out beautiful. Incredible service! Not only were they very helpful, responsive and genuine, but they were able to get a stain out that I did not think was possible. It was a last resort and not only did they clean my garment to look like new, but they did it 4 days earlier than expected because they remembered that I mentioned hoping to wear it to a big event. This will be the last time I do business with this place , the people that work here are very friendly I must say . Quality of work I would give it c- because they do not really listen to your request (I asked for my collars on my T-shirts to be treated with care and not stretch them .) I bring in very hard to get clothing that's why I pay the extra money for the care for my clothing . However this place will overcharge you for poor work . My bill is $80.00 for some T-shirt's (T-shirt's!) and a pair of shorts . Someone picked up full on dress shirts and suits and had a bill less than me . When I heard his total I told myself I will write this review . I'm just waiting for my phone call so I can pick up my hat . Love this dry cleaner. I got my wedding dress from a consignment shop in La Mesa, and the owner referred me to this place to have it cleaned before wearing it on my big day. Turns out they're located just down the street from where I live, so it's nice to go somewhere within walking distance. I hope we are a one-off. My wife's dresses: they came back smelly. They were pressed but not cleaned at all. My dark shirts: some of them had stains. And I got them back exactly with the same ones. I dropped a dress off here to be fixed for Halloween. I was told to pick it up today (Saturday) the girl had told me I would get a text when it was ready. I never received a text so at 1:45 I drove over to the shop and it was closed even though it says they are open until 2pm. I then drove home frustrated but accepting I'd have to find a backup plan. Then I did receive a text at around 4pm so I drove over again and thought maybe they have their hours posted wrong... nope closed again. At this point I'm extremely frustrated. Then at 5pm I got a call from a man stating he saw all my missed calls to the shop (obviously I was trying to figure out when they'd be open since it didn't seem their hours online were correct) he then states he was there when I came (probably trying to cover his ass since he clearly wasn't there) I had knocked on the door and waited a few minutes bc both times I went the lights were on. It seems like he went back to check why they had so many missed calls since he closed earlier than their posted hours. Not only was it drastically overpriced, but my shirts were clearly not cleaned at all, much less dry cleaned. Furthermore, both my slacks and shirts were more wrinkled than when I had brought them in. TERRIBLE, and no I do not want the free $20 of service the business owner is going to respond and offer me, I would like my $98 back.
