Blanking on his name but the guy working the night we went (2/23) was great and definitely makes the experience top tier!

What better way to celebrate a birthday than going to a rage room?…read more I've always wanted to go to one of these, and I love the fact that Sac has a couple of these. I found this place thanks to Offbeat Coffee a couple shops down the plaza. We decided to book a room for a friend's birthday, and I initially thought "no way this is worth the money". Um... long story short, you quickly find out how much pent up anger/energy you have when you get to swinging. A couple of downsides-- while there were three of us, only two of us took our rage out. There aren't that many items, so we found that the 20 minute time limit was more than enough. We (as in the two of us) pretty much destroyed everything to pieces in 10 minutes. If you decide that you want to go with a bigger group, definitely upgrade and purchase more items to smash. Also, we came at peak 100 degree weather and this place is not air conditioned. By the end of this, we were covered in sweat, especially because the safety hats and gloves are required in the rage rooms as well. So I'd make note of that before your visit. Other than that, staff was very friendly and welcoming!

I love all of the Japanese and Hawaiian theme items you can buy here. Shirts, bags, stickers, gift boxes, they have it all! When you're tired from shopping, you can grab food and dessert too. They have a ton of vendors to choose from but the downside is it gets super crowded. Hopefully they'll find a bigger venue in the future so it's easier to walk around and take your time to look at each table!

The inside is pretty big but does get crowded with the amount of people who attends. . So this craft show primarily sells hand made arts and crafts. Such as hand made sew on pattern to towels, hand towel, shirts, and clothing. The designs are usually cute and unique, or more oriental theme. . They have hand made reusable bags, lunch bags, coin purse, purses, and all designs varies with sushi, cute drawings designs of Asian stuff, and prices are reasonable. . I picked up a new lunch bag and a new design which is posted so feel free to swipe and look for it. Comment and let me know what you think of it. . They also sell jewelry, yes hand made as well. My mama scored some Swarovski crystal necklaces which she loves and adore. . Lots of buttons and stickers, are drawn and design by crafters. They are so cute but $10 pin which I just dont justify spending. Because it's not a need but a want for a lot of stuff in this art show. . I did score some vinyl waterproof stickers for my hyrdroflask. I'm so excited to stick it on my water bottle and start rocking it. Also a motivation for me to drink more water and stay hydrated. Look to see my pics for that. And let me know what you think. . Overall forfer to/ lThanks for reading and have a yelptastic day! Elite 19!

Shoutout to the West Sacramento/ Clarksburg area…read more... The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.

They have many events here, including private events and wedding. The upcoming event is Port and Chocolate for Valentine's Day. That sounds so delicious. I loved chocolate and my husband is always up to trying another port. Parking- They have a private lot and we were able to easily find a parking spot right in-front of the entrance. Bathrooms- They have many stalls in the bathroom located to the left of the entrance. Temperature- It's cool inside, a little too cool for us today. It was 63 degrees out today and warm in the sun. I bet in the sweltering heat of our summers this is the perfect place to be. The Sugar Mill is an indoor venue. They have three different building with different wineries at this time. So, there is a little walking outside. Wine Barrels- You can buy half wine barrels for your garden for sale. Seating- They have lots of little seating areas. Inside they have a whole room with seating and nice decor. The tables are draped in white table cloths and there are stacks of wine barrels as the back drop. They have a palm court in the back and it's so quaint and beautiful. Perfect for sipping some wine slowly and chit chatting with friends. If you are looking to sit in the sun there is are a set of tables and chairs out back near the food truck. Ambiance- I love the location and building. It's an old Sugar Mill that produced sugar from sugar beets. That industry has now ended and it's now a place to visit many wineries. It's the only place that I know of that have numerous wineries and offer wine tasing for a minimum fee.
