I was getting my car serviced and I had a few hours to spare. I walked over to "Tinhorn Flats" and when I got there, I saw it was Magnolia Corner. I haven't stepped into the establishment since TF closed years ago. I liked that they kept the swinging doors. I was stunned when I walked in. I couldn't believe how spacious the place was. They really did an amazing job renovating the place. I love everything they did with the redesign. The waiter was super nice and welcomed me when I told him it's the first time I've been there since it opened. He pointed to the owner if I wanted to talk to him about his establishment. The owner looked super friendly. He was busy with the rest of the patrons and making them drinks. The menu options looked delicious and I ended up ordering the fish and chips. Unfortunately I have an allergen and my options are limited. I was happy that the waiter checked with the chef and let me know that what I chose was going to be allergen free. When he brought out the food I saw some green specks and became paranoid and asked what seasoning that was. He assured me it wasn't what I'm allergic to but he could see my hesitation and brought the chef over. The chef gave me the breakdown of what ingredients they used and reassured me it was allergen free. The chef was soooo thoughtful and nice and understood my paranoia of my allergen. The food was delicious and I'm so happy that they were accommodating because a lot of restaurants can't do that for me. I usually order plain fries or bread. I can't wait to bring my friends when I come back. We had no idea what Magnolia Corner looked like inside and what food they offered. Now that I know, I'm telling everyone to go there! read more

Excited to come in and try their happy hour specials although the food is delicious the wings were nice and crispy and the sliders, even though we've never had them before it came with blue cheese. My wife cannot eat blue cheese and was saddened that we didn't read the full menu for the description of the sliders, which was our fault Pretzel was nice and soft and hot. We had some well cocktails and although they were nice and refreshing. The limes are going bad and should be changed out regularly and we also found a hair in one of our drinks. My wife did not want to order a second drink as she was grossed out by that .I just feel if you were working behind the bar or in the food industry. All hair should be pulled back no matter what to avoid this mistake or accident. I wish this business nothing but the best. I hope they achieve much success. Awesome bar! I love Tony's but this place is much brighter and airier with great patio space. Lots of TVs, great food and drinks (with plenty of options, including vegetarian), the staff were super friendly and attentive, and the whole place is really clean. What a great night!! Walked in and initially thought hmm.. "this ain't no honky-tonk joint!" We were immediately greeted and welcomed in to sit. Me & gf sat at bar & were met with the upmost top-tier level of customer service from Cheyenne and Anthony this night. My gf wanted a drink recommendation and Cheyenne whipped up the perfect cucumber mint spritzer! The overall drink menu is abundant & the IPA on draft was ice cold! Anthony was attentive to everyone and always on point! The vibes here are so chill & comfortable, with a homie western/country feel. Classy spot for drinks with friends or a date. Great appetizer and food options including salads. We even had to order a few shots to end the night proper. Hi all. You know I am very fair with my review's. Lisa searched for this renovated 'saloon' in Burbank. We went on an early Friday night. It was pretty busy and I thought it was a good sign for the business. We found a empty table outside in the renovated patio area, very nice. But that's pretty much it. There were several tables where people were sitting but the plates were from the previous occupants and at our table too. Eventually someone came by to clean the table. There's seating for about 40 people and there was only one server. Luckily we ordered our first drinks inside prior to finding the table in the back. When the server finally came to our table we decided to order appetizers first and another round, because we understood that there was only one server and it might be a while. Thinking backup servers what eventually show up. Anyways, we ordered onion rings, French fries and chicken wings. We LITERALLY, btw I hate using that word but it fits, waited 1 HOUR and still no drinks and food!!! We decided to ask our server to cancel our order. I get that she is overwhelmed but she needs to realize that she is working in a customer service industry and that her actions and replies are a direct reflection on the business. I cannot repeat what she said but we had to bring it to her attention that her response was TOTALLY unacceptable. In her defense she did apologize and explained that many other tables were complaining and leaving. There was a sign stating a soft opening and asked for some allowances for growing pains and encouraged ALL reviews to help them improve. Ok, here it goes. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!! And you should fire the Manager for being to chicken to come out and deal with customer complaints. I'm not even sure if anyone in management or the owner was there. You absolutely have no excuse to take over an hour to serve FRIED food like fries, rings and wings! Hire more staff for busy nights or have staff standing around help with the busy sections and have someone responsible available for customers! Btw, after we left, we went to another establishment close by that was way busier and placed our order and received our order within 5 minutes!!! We ordered the same foods and drinks! Cold drinks and hot food! How it should be. I don't like being negative and want to focus on the positives. You have an opportunity to make this right! Focus on service! They forget about the customers seated outside, we had to go on a hunt for our waitress just to place our order (we had been seated for 20 min). We waited 45min for a small flatbread (wasn't busy at all) and it was the wrong one but our waitress argued that it was indeed what we ordered (it wasn't). We then told her that we wanted to order something to-go and she said she would put it in when we received our food. She never did. We had to wait another 30 min. When she brought it out, it wasn't to-go and we had to request to have it in a to-go box and waited another 10 min. What could've been an hour dinner turned into what felt like the longest wait of my life. Don't waste your time here. read more

I will preface this review with my determination to come back and try some different food next time. That said, the bbq chicken flatbread pizza had so much bbq sauce it made the pizza soggy and overwhelmed the other flavors. I think it could be good with about half the sauce. We also tried the buffalo wings which were breaded and also way over sauced so they ended up soggy. The onion rings were great though. There's enough on the menu that I'll give it another chance because the remodel looks great, the service was great and everything was pretty swift. I really, really loved Tin Horn Flats-- the crazy stepson completely ran it into the ground. Pleased to repost that Magnolia grill is anything but maga, it's much the same as ever except the interior booths are gone. Sad face! Smash burger is not a smash burger. Sorry. Putting two sort of thin patties on top of each other is not what makes a smash. Veggie burger is pretty gross. They're using an impossible burger or something of the sort, but at the price they're charging it should be something house made and fresh, not hyper processed. I see in some comments that they're working on making it better, but why not just take it off the menu in the meantime if it's not acceptable? Or just make the change, it's not that difficult. We visited this wonderful place with my wife on Friday evening. I had a smash burger that was absolutely amazing, and my wife had a chicken Caesar salad that she loved. The backyard is very cozy, and we truly enjoyed relaxing and having our meal there. We totally recommend this place! First time at this new restaurant, and the food was delicious! The vibes immaculate, I loved the patio in the back, especially the fireplace with logs for stools. Very cozy. Western themed store front with saloon doors makes the store look vintage and stands out. The neighborhood is nice with plenty of street parking. The owners were around and talking to all the guests, service from the staff was pleasant. We were a party of 5 and ordered almost their whole menu. I had a WONDERFUL experience today at lunch. My daughter ordered the Western Cheeseburger with truffle fries and I had a Caprese sandwich with sweet potato fries. WE GULPED IT DOWN!! AMAZING FLAVOR! We also were blessed to meet the owner who is very charming and he gave us an idea of the menu items they will be launching on 8/1/25. I will DEFINITELY be there! He also mentioned they have a TACO TUESDAY night with a great setup on the back patio. Tacos will only be $2.00!!!! Definitely coming back for that, along with friends and family members.
