After making the purchase, it was a week already and it started to concern me as to when the product will arrive. To keep it short, I called more than 10 times to follow up and waited almost 6 months until I finally canceled my order. Probably the worst experience ever with a vendor like Heeltoe. I am not badmouthing the business but it's the honest truth. There couldve been a better route and solution to this. Not even a decent service recovery. All I got offered was a certain percentage off and a sarcastically saying "free shirt". I spoke to Marcus(THE OWNER) several times and he failed to follow up with me regarding why it was taking so long. First he said it was very unusual for the shipment to be delayed, then he said its not because of the pandemic, and then he said it was because of the pandemic, then he found out his warehouse was relocated, ETC. I question how does an owner of a company does not know where he the products he sells goes or how long it takes. I ended up having to contact the manufacturer that makes the exhaust system and they were able to provide me with such better answers within a timeframe. It was one heck of a experience that I wish no one else goes through because it delays not only their time but special projects that need to be completed. We were looking to purchase a new battery for our collector vehicle, and the existing battery was four years old. We had looked at the warranty receipt and it indicated that we had an 18-month full refund warranty on the battery, which surprised us, so we asked the gentleman behind the counter. Before we could say much more, he took the receipt into the side office, which was remarkably close to the counter, and proceeded to tell the manager that these guys are trying to get a refund for a battery that was four years old. They had a good laugh which I found extremely offensive, because we just wanted to buy a new battery, but thought we would ask whether the warranty we were told about had some type of prorated amount connected to it; which would have been pennies on the dollar. My interpretation of their conversation was that he was implying that we were trying to get away with something which could not have been farther from the truth. When he came back out, I called him on this and told him I did not find this amusing, and the conversation spiraled from there. He even went on to say that "this was not the same Napa that we bought the battery from". Same address, same phone number, and same Napa logo; so apparently this location is now a privately owned franchise, so they think they can use the Napa Brand and have no accountability. Anyway, we took the battery and went to O'Reilly Auto parts right up the street where they treated us professionally and even gave us a $10 gift card to take the battery in on trade for a new replacement, with a 4-year warranty. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere in Forest Grove for Auto Parts since there are at least two other brands to choose from. The most frustrating part of this entire experience is that the "Manager" sat in their office and heard the conversation go south, and yet, made no effort to come out and save the customer relationship. I will never go back and would encourage the actual owner to clean house and hire some professional employees who know how to treat their customers. I do not typically put these types of things online, but the lack of emotional intelligence with this group is off the charts.

Third member seal. Serviced transmission and engine oil. Replaced valve cover gasket. New batteries. They replaced a bad instrument panel. Replaced a bad rear third light! I had several small dings in my paint and body, they said they knew a vendor that fixed those dents perfectly! Did they ever! Jims automotive installed a timing belt on my car . When it was done I picked it up and brought it…read morehome I was happy to have it done I opened my hood to hear it run and look at it and I noticed 4 bolts sitting in the spots they go into on the spark plug cover . The bolts were not even hand tight . I was baffled and I thought ok I'll tighten those down and never go back to Jim's automotive in forest grove . Well I had that timing belt done April 22 this year 2024 . So driving home July 18 so less than 3 months later and I hear the worst sound coming from my engine . I wasn't going to have it towed to Jim's no way so I took it to a Japanese car specialist . He opened it up and the timing belt was shredded. They found a bolt that had come loose from the install that Jim's did . So I called the owner Jim and asked him if he would pay the other shop to fix what they did wrong and he said no . He did offer to fix the work but I told him no way will I ever bring my car back to them . When I spoke to him, he told me that sometimes when you take your car to another shop, they noticed things that the previous shop might not have picked up because of an extra set of eyes. I think this is total BS I should be able to depend on the shop that I take my car to in the first place, I expect my car to be fixed the first time if not the first time then maybe the second time but there's no way I would bring it back to them a third time. This is my experience with jims automotive and Forest Grove. I am going to be out a lot of money out of pocket because they did the job incorrectly. The first time the install they did did a lot of damage to my engine and now I am out of pocket just be aware of jims automotive if you have had good luck with them then that's great but this is my experience with them. They will not pay for another shop to fix it correctly and they will only fix it on their dime. If I bring it to them, I will never bring any of my vehicles to them. Unfortunately, this was a very bad experience. I don't know what I will do from here as far as trying to recoup my money back I have talked to a couple attorneys and we will see where it goes but be aware of jims automotive unless you want to take it back to them multiple times to make it right in my eyes you shouldn't have to take a car back to have it repaired multiple times because they didn't do the job right the first time I am going to upload some pictures and you can see the damage that has been done. I probably have bent valves. I'm probably gonna need some head work. It's probably gonna cost me around $4000, and this was all done because of preventative maintenance. I didn't even need to have my timing belt done at that time. The only reason I did it is because I had the money and I had about 15,000 miles before it was due. My car ran completely fine before I dropped it off to them the first time.
