I must admit I'm a bit of a pizza snob, but a lot of high-end pizza places just don't do delivery. So what's my Pizza Jones to do when I don't feel like going out, and it's craving some pie? Well, fortunately, there's dozens of local neighborhood pizza places around that are more than willing to drop off some pizza right to your door for a nominal fee, of course. Since moving to my new digs last summer I haven't really looked for my "go-to" delivery pizza place. The criteria is pretty easy: (1) Delivers to may address (2) can order thru the Yelp app and (3) reasonable prices. Magoo's seemed to fit all those and so I proceeded. I recall a local chain called Magoo's growing up, and seem to remember there being one by my parent's house on Vistapark & Capitol Expwy at one point. This seems to be the last of those but don't recall if this is an OG location. From what I've gathered this store has changed hands many times, and the latest owners have included Indian pizza on the menu--a fact I didn't realize until after I had placed my order. Pizza's all arrived in just over an hour and came w/ a $3 delivery fee and a $10 minimum, which isn't hard to hit with pizza. They were both hot, fresh and fully loaded with goodies. They had even read my note about keeping half the veggie pizza sans cheese. Imagine that! Overall it was a solid "American-style" pie but it was nothing super-impressive. With that said, I would definitely order from them again but next time I'm getting the Indian-style.

Loved the pizza from here. This is a family owned business and the customer service was VERY good. They have Indian style pizzas too like Tandoori chicken pizza, panner tikka pizza. I have ordered the first and it tasted soo good. There was lots of chicken on it and tasted so yummy. Can't wait to go back. Bottomline: This is the place to go if you want to try Indian style pizzas.

    Remodel looks great!

This is the best pizza in San Jose. The flavor is out of this world. I normally love ranch my pizza but this doesn't need it. Must get the giant! It the largest pizza ever for only about $30. Best deal ever!

The fresh warm sourdough bread has inspired me to start consuming more of this gut healthy bread. They even serve their water in a glass wine bottle (no more plastic consumption for me.) The service was awesome. The waiter even wanted to sit next to you and the kids at the booth. They closed out their San Jose Wolfe location after COVID. The downtown Campbell was definitely a hotspot for the locals. I highly recommend coming here with your family. We ate our dinner family style. It is a top spot in my list; I will be returning with friends who can enjoy their big selection of wine. The current Doppio Zero locations in the Bay Area are: * Doppio Zero Mountain View * Doppio Zero Campbell * Doppio Zero San Carlos * Doppio Zero San Francisco * Doppio Zero Concord * Doppio Zero Walnut Creek (opened in 2026) I really loved the food and the upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Then you go home and to try to analyze why all of the kids do not like the spaghetti with squid pasta. Yes, it was a tad spicy but it was definitely not bad. On Monday I ate the leftover pizza and spaghetti for lunch. Then I realized that that I can easily duplicate everything at home. I am not going to make my favorite corn with baby arugula pizza today because I ate my last corn last night. (Safeway had a digital coupon for corn for only $0.12 each). I have fresh vine tomatoes, mild sausage, and a Home Depot nearby that has a vast array of fresh Italian herbs. The heat has killed most of my garden so I need to get up NOW to build my new garden bed. We are making fresh homemade pasta with Italian sausages for lunch today.

I left the restaurant still hungry because there simply wasn't enough food. It feels like they keep raising prices while reducing portion sizes, and the value just isn't there anymore. To make matters worse, they automatically charge an 18% gratuity on top of the already high prices. I don't feel they respect their customers when they continue to charge more while serving such small portions. As a paying customer, I expect a fair meal for the price. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer much better value and show more respect for their customers. I can't recommend this place, and unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

There was a lot of food on the table between the 5 of us, but I'll highlight our vegan selections because that's what really excited me & my husband about La Pizzeria! * Fagioli all'Uccelletto (the tomato sauce was super flavorful and piping hot, and their focaccia is more of the flat bread style and came out nice and warm) * Pizza con Potate (great pizza with potato & rosemary, and the vegan cheese was extra melty) * Spaghetti al Pesto (my favorite because pesto is the best-o!) I was thinking a light salad; he was thinking beer and pizza. Since they don't do wine by the glass, I ended up with a $17 mini bottle. It was okay, but $17 for a single-serve is a stretch, not exactly a wine lover's paradise. The food was a mixed bag. The pizza was definitely the star; you can tell it's made with love and not some big-box chain stuff. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was pretty bland.
