The pizza at Magoo's is very good and the staff are always very pleasant and friendly. We order to go about twice per month and our entire family loves the pizza. The pizza dough is very fresh and they always seem to get the right balance between the cheese, sauce and toppings. I would highly recommend Magoo's to families that live in the area and that are looking for a good local pizza joint to order out now and again. I order from Magoo's now for over two years. we enjoy the sirloin steak pizza. However, everytime we order, there is less and less meat on the pizza. Now, we really have to look for the meat to find it. Pizza is still good, but .... Also, they tell you it takes 45 min. for delivery, the real time is 90 min. One thing was really bothering me. Last Sunday we had unexpexted company and decided to call for a pizza. This rude, old woman picked up the phone at Magoos and told me that they were busy and I should call back later. Excuse me? I call to order a pizza and you tell me that you are busy? I don't know who this rude, old woman is, that answers the phone. If I could rate this as a zero I would.. this is for the Hamburgers I had ordered earlier today.. I had a flyer put on my door and since I didn't want to make dinner we decided to try this place out.. so here it goes! 1. Upon ordering they had informed me delivery would take a total of 40 minutes.. they delivered it 75 minutes later.. major fail when I'm already starving.. 2. The meat was reminiscent of meatloaf and they slapped on ketchup when I asked them not to as well as putting on Swiss instead of American cheese. The bread however was pretty good.. 3. I actually had to add my own Mayo just to save the burger which didn't do much... so all in all.. I wish I had a better experience with the quality of their food and service since 2 burgers are $15 worth of my time and tummy.. read more

Rude service, delivery has always been literally twice as long as they say it will be. They put coupons on your door then tell you they're expired when you call. Complain to them about it and they will tell you they're just an employee. Family run? If they're hiring employees that argue with customers on the phone they are in deep trouble - somehow it didn't sound like I was talking to an employee, but deep trouble either way. Average pizza. Owner really manipulates the rates of Pizza. First of all online menu is completely different from what you really gonna received. If you have any discount coupon then they are not going to accept it. They will give you some discount instead after which also you feel that pizza costs higher. In my case, I got medium chicken pizza at $17.24 and when I asked for my coupon they told me to provide $3 discount. Hence, my bill ended up at $15.49 (plus taxes). However, employee was in so hurry that he swiped my card for $15 and not giving me my bill when asked. Pizza is overcooked and looks black. My family eats a LOT of pizza and we lost our local location of a chain, that delivered to our address. So we tried a few that I found on the app Slice. This was the very clear winner. Tons of topping and sauce choices, timely delivery, and a wonderful staff. Crust tastes fresh, and is the right balance of crispy and chewy. They certainly don't skimp on the toppings either. Leftovers (when any survive) heat up well in the oven or microwave. When I'm not in the mood for pizza, but the family is, I get their spaghetti with meatballs. I order it with extra meatballs and extra mushrooms, and I think next time I'm going to ask for extra sauce...just my personal taste since I like to dip my bread in it while I'm eating. Portion-wise...1 order makes 2 meals for me. Price is good, which is important in my case since we typically order at least 3 large pizzas (one for each kid) and whatever I am eating that day. The only thing I would change is offering the garlic bread as a stand-alone side option instead of it only coming with the pasta dishes since it is so good. read more

Don't do it!!! Ordered a pizza, said that it would be a 30-40 minute wait. An hour and 20 minutes later, the pizza arrived. Charged me a $1 extra for ranch which wasn't even provided. Pizza was yummy. Even though I was late to pick up by 45 min, it still tasted nearly fresh. I liked the crunchiness of the dough. I got a large half garlic chicken and half combo. I would place it somewhere in between Roundtable pizza and Mountain Mikes. The pizza is pretty good, so if you've got coupons it's worth a try. But I must insist that you bring a calculator and scratch paper to double check the price they charge you. Somebody dropped a coupon on my door step for a 7.99 large one topping and a pastrami sandwitch for an extra 5.99. So, I called and ordered a large pineapple pizza(7.99), a pastrami with swiss(5.99), and breadsticks (4.99). -- I calculate this to be under $21 including tax. When I arrived she rang me up for a little over $32, I showed her the coupon and she told me she already took that into consideration but had added another cheese pizza that they had made by mistake for "a very special price". I asked to see the breakdown, and she showed me her computer screen which was just a list of items, no prices, but she told me they were charging me 7.99 for the second cheese pizza. ... She added the same price as the 1 topping I ordered for a second pizza I didn't even want? So I argued with her and removed it from the bill. Now she wanted $26 and some change. After about ten minutes of arguing I declared uncle and just paid her. Ugh. Then when I got home I discovered the pastrami was unbearably salty and had chedder, not the swiss I asked and again verified with them before leaving the store. To sum: their pizza is pretty good, steer clear of the sandwiches. But overall it's just not worth the frustration to ever order from Magoo's again. read more

We had a coupon from them for $10and we decided to give it a try. I cslled up to order a pizza and they didn't tell me the total cost that I had to pay. They said the total is 15$ and it will be delivered in 15 mins. I didn't expect them to deliver so fast but they came in 25 mins and told me to pay 15$. I was surprised and asked them it was 5$ I had to pay. They told the pizza cost is 25$ which was too high for the medium size and taste. I love this place. Their lasagna is delicious and they give you a huge portion plus a giant piece of garlic bread all for $12! It is enough for 2 meals. Their service is excellent as well. I ordered to pick up and when I got there my order wasn't ready due to a mishap in the kitchen. The staff gave me free mozzarella sticks plus a drink even after I told them it was fine and I was willing to wait. I have yet to try their pizza but it looks amazing. This pizza is very different from the others and it tastes really good! It's a little spicy and they actually have an Indian style pizza it's very different and if you like hot and spicy then you've love it. I had more than 50 pizzas from them till now and they rock! They are normally good about telling you how long it will take, but a few times it has been over an hour and that's WAY TOO LONG! I have been a customer of this place for about a year or 2 now. After living in the neighborhood for 14 years, it irritates me as to why Im just recently eating from here. It amazes me how great their pizzas turn out. Always hot from the oven. Large pizza chains tend to have "salty" meats/toppings, but not here. The flavors are just right (always). I decided to order a combination pizza and the gentlemen over the phone told me it would be around 30 minutes for my pizza which is fine, pizzas take awhile and this is on a Friday night. When i got there they had an assorted of specialty pizza's. the Garlic Chicken Pizza looked and tasted YUMMY!! i use to be in the pizza industry and i asked what ingredients they use for their pizza and i was shocked, they use the BEST stuff in the market, no wonder the pizza was so good!
