I ordered that and the vegetarian potstickers (steamed). The young man who took my order was careful to tell me that the potstickers have soy in them and that people sometimes mistake that for meat. Bottom line is: Mai Pai Thai restaurant is consistent in serving quality, delicious made to order Thai cuisine. Their serving portions are enough for 2 meals and the prices are reasonable. Service for in house dining as well as takeout is friendly and appropriate. My wife ordered the yellow curry with chicken and vegetables. It was really good. I went with my usual preference: Pad Kei Mow ( Drunken noodles) with tofu. Both dishes were delicious and we both had leftovers the next day, sorry I did not get photos this time as we brought it home to enjoy. What is not to like? The staff was so friendly and kind, we were also seated quickly. The restaurant was very clean and I enjoyed the music that was playing. I ordered a Thai Tea which was so delicious and refreshing on a hot summers day. For appetizer I ordered the Shrimp Rolls which reminded me of crab wontons and they were also delicious! My entree I got the beef Pad Thai, which the beef itself could've been more seasoned or maybe it was lacking spice, but the rest of the dish was very good. Absolutely our go-to for Thai in Jonesboro! Be aware of their split schedule l, 11am-3pm then 4:30pm-9pm (....and when they say 4:30, they mean 4:30! ...not a second earlier). my buddy and i went here sunday we order a appetizer grilled chicken on a stick i believe no seasoning at all we both got are meals bland no heat no flavor bland and boring we asked are waiter what's the deal he said people here can't handle the heat we have chili peppers in the back for next time now i go to thai for the spice i think if it was me they would open up with hey how spicy do u want it not after my meal.... by the way i took it home added salt pepper and some spice from the cupboard and it was really good guess next time ill stay home and cook thai my self friendly yes. did the wait staff forgot about us yes. could it be good oh yes was it no i've had better from gas stations sad but true read more

I've come here a couple of time for lunch. I come here for three reasons. One, it's close to my office. It's easily accessible and in a great location - across Highland from the mall. Two, the food I've had there is absolutely amazing. I'll talk about that more in a moment. And, number three, the service is second to none. The young lady who has been my waitress both times is very friendly and attentive. She makes the whole experience a 5 star experience. Both times I've been here I've gotten curry. The first time I got yellow curry and the next time I got red curry. Both were very good, but I gotta say, the red curry is the best. The yellow curry is milder and probably a little easier to digest. But the red curry was "make your nose run" spicy (I asked for a heat level of 7), and so tasty. One of my favorite things to order here is the Thai tea. Oh man! If you come here for nothing but the tea you'll leave satisfied. It's so fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. Nice open clean space, smelled nice. We ate every bit, no leftovers! Started with chicken satay appetizer and fried dumplings. The cucumber salad with the satay nicely paired with the chicken and peanut sauce. My husband had the larb salad, and I had the Bangkok Mango with shrimp and scallops. The dishes were all so pretty! This was my favorite restaurant of the 2 restaurants I will eat in or around Jonesboro. Their food is good considering our options. The restaurant is clean from appearances. However, I will no longer step foot in this restaurant after being treated so rudely and disrespectfully. Ever since they hired the cashier, their attitude has changed. They no longer appreciate the customers who frequented their restaurant and introduced many others who otherwise would have never tried Thai. We ate there at least twice a week. They use styrofoam for takeout which is not wise for dishes with sauce. Of the countless times we ate and ordered to go, 1 of those times of the 5 dishes I ordered, it spilled all over my luxury car. I called and explained what happened and they begrudgingly corrected it giving me dented and burned styrofoam and held it against me. It was their fault for using styrofoam! Just stupid! I also like a particular dish and requested extra sauce that they charged me an extra $5 for sauce only each time I ordered it. I ordered the dish at least 5 times with extra sauce and paid an extra $5 for sauce each time. The first time, they gave me a large plastic container of sauce. The second time, they gave me a container half the size and did so from then on for the same extra $5 for sauce only. I mentioned it and questioned the cashier and she went back and created an issue with the owner. They got mad and decided they would not sell me extra sauce forward. The last time i ate there and brought my mother for the first time, the young owner yelled at me and rudely told me I was the problem. Even then, I took it on the chin and respectfully told her I have never in my life been treated so rudely. She said the reason she was rude was because her pet died in my prior visit. I'm sorry her pet died but that's no excuse for being rude to a regular customer! She won't have to worry about me being the problem ever again. I would also never hire the cashier.
