I looked up Dr. Nguyen and thank goodness he was open on Saturday! We did a walk in and he knew the issue right away he was very compassionate and understanding answering every question and never was annoyed or bother by the number of questions we had. The whole time he kept telling us all will be on and we will get you better and back to normal fast! He too the time needed and really could tell he genuinely cared about my wife's well being. Give him a chance you won't regret it! Thank you Dr Nguyen for all your advice and help with our situation! I would highly recommend him!

I had to see him twice for the exact same issue, and during the second visit it became clear that he did not remember seeing me before. I was asked the same questions all over again, as if the first appointment had never happened. What made it worse was that he ordered multiple labs during the first visit, only to request many of the same tests again later. It felt disorganized and repetitive, and ultimately unnecessary. To be fair, Dr. Nguyen himself is pleasant and polite. He comes across as calm and agreeable, and I don't think his intentions are bad. The problem is that being nice does not make up for a lack of continuity or attention to a patient's history. I left both appointments feeling like nothing had actually moved forward. The staff, unfortunately, made the experience significantly worse. They were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, which added frustration to an already inefficient process. Basic questions were met with attitude, and it felt like an inconvenience to them just to be there. That alone would make me think twice about returning. ENTs are not always easy to find, especially ones with availability, but this is not a practice I would recommend investing your time in. Between repeat visits, duplicated labs, lack of familiarity with my case, and an unprofessional front office, the experience simply was not worth it. I walked away feeling like my time had been wasted rather than my issue addressed.

They are familiar with MARCONS and fungal issues, while most ENTs are not. John and Dr. Yu were wonderful and very thorough - I felt no pain at all during the scopes even though they don't use anesthetic (whereas I almost died when I did one at another clinic). They even have huge TV screens so you can see what's going on in your ears and throat in realtime lol. Nurses and staff are great, too! Another bonus is their on-site Xoran mini CT scan machine. I was able to get a CT of my sinuses right then and there, with reduced radiation exposure. They checked my ear pressure as well. Thanks!

The office is conveniently located in Huntington Beach, with plenty of parking and easy access. The staff is friendly, and my ears were thoroughly cleaned using a special vacuum tool by PA John Vincent. My eardrum is finally visible again. I'm honestly amazed by how well I can hear now. It feels like I've been dealing with years of buildup. I'm glad I went to a specialist. Thank you, Oceann ENT!

From the moment, I contacted the office, I felt "taken care of." I got an email from Diana Fazinna with required forms to complete that addressed my specific issues. The office manager, Antoinette Taamu, who had fit me in on a cancellation, made me a hot cup of tea as I waited for my appointment time. John Vincent Enverga, the physician's assistant, worked carefully and slowly to remove wax and boric acid build-up, from a recent botched ENT experience. He noted a middle or inner ear infection. The office was state of the art and you could see what John was doing up on the screen. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed even though I was extremely distressed. In consultation with Dr. Yu, he ordered a CT scan that very day, where a number of problems were identified. The doctor set a treatment plan including targeted antibiotics and olive oil to sooth my tender ears. Now, the next morning, I am feeling so much better. I feel the swelling in my ear reducing and I know that I am in good hands and on the mend. Words cannot express how grateful I am that these health care professionals really care and take care of sick patients. I am beyond grateful. Thank you very much.

After going through basic info checking, the phone receptionist asked about 3~4 screening questions that if I have crackling and popping noise on my ear, mucus going to throat, and etc. I answered as best as I can and she says my symptoms are not what they specializes. And she was trying to refer me to another ENT office. I didn't know there are different specialties in ENT. I'm no medical professional and just want to get checked up. She said this place is more specialized in nose and throat, and they won't be able to check my ears. Then take the E off of your name and just say NT. I clearly have a problem on my ear and I'm trying to get checked up by an ENT doctor. I'm not going to waste anymore time to this receptionist. This conversation happened on Friday afternoon and now I have to spend another week to find and see a doctor, while the symptom could get worse. The doctors and other professionals in this place is clearly doing a great job to get this many good reviews and my friend recommending as well. But this reception clearly turning the table upside down. Perhaps you should put that screening questions on your website, new patient section so people don't have to waste so much time, before asking patients info and insurance info.

I made an…read moreappointment for a new patient consultation, I was shocked to find that they charged an unreasonable deductible that did not align with the guidelines provided by my insurance company. I was told that I will be charged approx $150 as deductible for office visit and another $115-$150 to do scoping. I have been to many specialists and none of them ever mention a deductible on an office visit. To be clear, my PPO insurance guideline is $10 copay for general doctor and $30 copay for specialists, no deductible involved in consultation/ office visit. I also verified with many agents from my insurance just to make sure this office is In network and has to follow my insurance protocols. I later contacted the office to clarify the charges, only to be met with an unhelpful and rude response from the biller, Jason, who keeps cutting me off with a nasty attitude while I was explaining to him in calm and polite manner. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he became defensive and dismissive, which was not only unprofessional but also unethical. It's clear that the office is not following proper insurance billing protocols, and Jason's behavior only made the situation worse. They want to collect $300 upfront just for a consultation. They are trying to rip their patients off. I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to carefully review their billing practices and ensure they are not being charged for services that don't follow insurance guidelines. Integrity and professionalism should be the cornerstone of healthcare, but unfortunately, this office and their staffs, particularly Jason, failed to demonstrate either. It's incredibly unsettling to think that a healthcare professional would engage in unethical behavior, especially when it involves something as critical as medical billing. I strongly advise others to be cautious and to carefully review any charges or claims made by this office. Integrity should always be a priority in healthcare, and unfortunately, this practice does not appear to uphold that standard. I would not recommend this office to anyone. If you value honesty in healthcare, look elsewhere I already canceled my appointment, and I suggest others look for a more transparent and ethical practice. For Jason, you should be aware that all the money that you are trying to steal are not yours to go berserk. Next time think hard before putting on a nasty attitude to a customer. They come to the practice so you can have a job. Now you may deny that you offer to refund me after billed if I overpaid, but first, you did not mention that initially, only after I spoke to my insurance and you acted like you were caught red-handed. Second, that is still wrong. Consultation should NEVER involve a deductible in any insurance. If you are in network, you vowed to follow insurance guideline to have more patients. What your office has been doing is simply a fraud.
