Loved Maia for breakfast! It was a bit pricey, however the service was great and everything tasted fresh. The ambiance was serene and calm. The restaurant interior was quite large. There was an outdoor portion as well. We wanted to get our meal in before we left Marco Island, as it closed for breakfast at 11:30am. I deferred on the buffet as I am not fond of buffet style. I wanted breakfast food, so I ordered egg whites, a side of turkey sausage & a large fruit platter. I loved the assortment of fruits: berries, kiwi, pineapple. Our waitress Dolly was so kind!! Loved chatting with her. She was sweet, pleasant, accomodating and always had a smile on. Great send off for a wonderful few cold days in Marco island!

This restaurant is located on the lower level of the Marriott Hotel. This was outstanding! We totally enjoyed the breakfast buffet which included the hot items- fresh eggs made your way. There was smoked salmon, bacon and Canadian bacon and sausage- fresh fruit, charcuterie items - cheese, smoked meats, sliced ham on a cutting board, cereals as well as assorted pastries. The blueberry crumble muffin was to die for. However the main reason Maia was exceptional was because of their exceptional employee- Nell. She is a true asset to the team. I've never seen someone as helpful and considerate not only to us because of my husband's handicap but to all the patrons in the venue. And she is not a relative. This was our first time meeting her. We will be sure to return during this vacation especially because of her kindness and work ethic!

I do not recommend the buffet. For the hotel standard this buffet is below average. I've stayed in Westin's which the breakfast selection was 10x of this one. With that said their breakfast menu a la carte is the way to go. Short ribs hash is huge, well done and really tasty. Capuccino was also very good (not too milky)

The bill $35 pp for the breakfast buffet

Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating. We came every morning during our vacation at the Marriott in Marco Island, FL. The staff was always friendly and attentive. No doubt they have superb staffing. However, I am not convinced that it's worth to spend $35++ for a standard hotel breakfast. Yes they have a nice selection of pastries, omelette and waffle/pancake station, eggs and bacon, fruits and cup cereals and more. But it's all basic. Nothing special than "the hotel's breakfast". Also the menus are the same everyday! It definitely needs some creativity to switch around their menus. Sitting outside, while it's beautiful view. there are so many mosquitoes, flies and birds. And they emptied cutomers' left over water from table to the bushes on the site instead of bringing it all back to the kitchen. Yes it's just water but it still doesn't look sanitary. So sure, if you want convenience and have $35++ to spend on standard breakfast, you can try this restaurant.

Great start to your morning! Breakfast at Maia has everything you could imagine to make your morning wonderful. Beautiful honey baked ham sliced to order, bacon, biscuits, eggs, breakfast potatoes, beautiful fresh fruit and pastries galore. They offer an omelet bar that is wonderful they also make fresh waffles. Service is great everyone has a beautiful smile here in paradise.

What a disappointment. We staid here due to the over hype…read moreof people announcing the resort as "amazing" online. The restaurants did not deliver, the day we arrived we visited Quinn's. We were sat on a high top table after we said we had 3 small kids. I asked if the high chair was as high as the table and we were told yes. To my surprise when the high chair came it was the height of a regular chair to which my toddler kept sliding off. We ordered the kids food first so it would come out "quicker". The food took about 45 mins to an hour to come. When I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy I was told I could not eat their French fries, I could not have anything that was fried since it was all with the same oil. I ordered the burger on their menu which after waiting for my food I was told I could also not have that. I ended up eating a regular cheese burger. We said we wouldn't return, but at dinner time there are apparently 5 restaurants at the resort. Some don't allow children, another requires a dress code, so in reality you have 3 restaurants to choose from. We returned to Quinn's for dinner, where we waited an hour for our food after ordering. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was not full and mind you there are 5 other restaurants on property. When our food arrived, the ceviche that was ordered was completely dry. To be honest the food was below average. I'd recommend anyone staying here to eat OUTSIDE the hotel. We also tried the other restaurant the Polynesian one. The food was average, it also took a very long time. On the third evening we dinned outside of the hotel and the service was much better. The services from the waiters was fine however the kitchen needs to improve. The breakfast restaurant with the buffet is designed so you pay the high price of $44 for a buffet. We ordered something from the regular menu because some people weren't going to eat enough to make the $44 worth it. The food took so long, it's almost as if they do it on purpose so you're more likely to choose the buffet, pay extra to get your food immediately. Mind you, some of the things ordered were waffles, which were available on the buffet side immediately made. For the $600-$1000 that this hotel costs a night. I do not find the service and attention worth it. The rooms need upgrades, staff takes a long time to answer the phone, however when you call from and outside line, they answer immediately. You're better off staying at the Hilton, and paying less.

If biscuits and gravy are on the menu, especially in the south, I gotta give it a try. Mine came with two eggs and a generous portion of gravy. I liked the gravy a lot -- the sausage was very tasty. The biscuits were good. I like a fluffier, buttery-er biscuit but these were pretty good. My eggs were ordered over medium but were a little on the easy side -- I find everyone has a different idea of done-ness terms when it comes to eggs. I may switch to scrambled for future orders! Hubs ordered the French toast with strawberries. He said it was very tasty but a little underdone, needed a little crisping up. Friend ordered her usual breakfast tacos. I tasted a bite -- very good! The sausage really shined in that taco! Cute medium size space with a patio. We ate inside due to it being August. Server was very efficient and friendly. Food was delivered promptly and several check-ins to refill coffee. Lots of parking.

At Stonewalls you order at the counter and they bring it over to your table as the food comes out. Kids are big breakfast eaters and while I'm not, I stumbled upon what I think is one of the best bacon cheeseburgers Ive had in a long time. We had a LOT of food on the table. We had two orders of the pancake breakfasts. Each one came with a short stack of pancakes that were hot and fresh. And they came with freshly cooked eggs and some crispy salty bacon! (oh and dont forget the whipped cream) We also had the chicken and waffles. That had a BIG piece of fried chicken on top of a perfectly made belgian waffle. His side of home fries/breakfast potatoes has TONS of flavor too. Now on to the STAR. The bacon cheeseburger. I dont know if it was because I wasnt expecting much, but this burger blew me away. The meat was seasoned perfectly, the cheese melted and this bacon.... this bacon was PERFECT! Crispy while not being burnt, salty without being overwhelming and as you can see THEY GAVE ME PLENTY! Paired with some crispy crunchy fries, this meal was just about perfect! We loved visiting stonewalls and will be back when we are on the island.
