All of the meats were exceptionally tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the chocolate ganache cake, which was rich and satisfying. We were not disappointed at any point during our visit. The ambiance was great and added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. The staff was also very accommodating and helpful with my mother-in-law, who uses a walker, which we truly appreciated. Perfectly cooked steaks with just the right amount t of flavoring. Salads, entrees and deserts always perfect. Last night it was a mess. Me, my husband and 32 year old daughter went out to dinner for the Xmas season. We always go to Jimmy Ps and we go an average of once a month and our dinner bill is usually $375 to $450 every time. Last night we ordered 2 filet mignon and a Rib eye steaks with a potatoe side and grilled asparagus. My daughter ordered her steak medium and a side of mashed potatoes. Her steak was horrible. No salt and pepper and no seasoning. Her steak was cooked well done. The server came over and we showed him and he did provide my daughter with a fresh perfectly cooked steaks. I had the rib eye, Pittsburgh medium rare. I have this steak every time i come here and have eaten this probably 50 times.last night whatever seasoning was used has the char taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill and tasted absolutely rancid. We noticed that the asparagus side that was also grilled had the same rancid taste. I didn't send it back since they already cooked a replacement steak for my daughter. I tried to explain to server but I didn't demand a new steak. Paid $80 for a steak I couldn't eat. The service is always great and last night no exception. Having dined at Ocean Prime in Seaport District in Massachusetts I thought I'd be having an excellent experience yet that was not to be. So let's start our journey of the nights events at Ocean Scam! So we're having a stroll through beautiful Naples and see a familiar name for dining. We decided to check it out cause our experience was amazing up North.. THE HELP- A +++ Upon arrival we were greeted by a beautiful set of host ladies who escorted us to a full window seat. Another person who was very polite pours us some water and takes a beverage order. Then our super polite waiter comes over for questions & order. He was fantastic and his talents are wasted here cause he could be a great one. THE FOOD: F - FAIL Ok so now is the drama part of our evening. We ordered a rib eye ( MEDIUM ) and Filet ( MEDIUM ) well our steak arrive and both are CRISP with grey insides , YES OVER COOKED! My lady is now pissed so she points it out to waiter he is apologetic. He then reviews mine and says he will bring new steaks out... So as I grow older and famished a new set of steaks arrive and a second set of items accompanied it. THE FILET is now burnt on outside and purple not cooked in middle and my ribeye is the same. However no steak juices even flowed from hers. It was like a hockey puck from Florida Panthers was served... Mine had zero taste but has juices on the plate. Good thing they purchased a few bottles of wine to forget the experience as well. But I did laugh at his steak misery... My fries , corn & house salad were excellent with no complaints. My desert of carrot cake was Decadent and best thing about my experience at Ocean Prime... THE AMBIANCE: A+++ OP had a great vibe from the moment you saw the outside till you stepped inside. First class decor you'd expect from a swanky place. Our window seat gave a great view of the courtyard for people watching and I'm gonna say the candles in the bathroom gave an Aromatic refreshing scent to a place that normally needs it after a steak dinner. I wish they sold those candles cause I'd defiantly grab a few for the home.. Well, that's my experience for OCEAN " NOT SO " PRIME ! I gave the steaks THE FINGER just in case my displeasure didn't come through...

Everything about it from entering the grounds of The Ritz, walking through the hotel lobby, to being greeted at the host/hostess station elevated an experience that by the end of the meal can be summed up in the word Magnifique! Upon reaching the host/hostess station, we were efficiently greeted and brought to our table walking through a beautiful dining room with a piano player to boot reminiscent of the great restaurants of the '70's and '80's. Whisked to our table to a romantic table for two with a full view of the dining room a la Forge Miami Beach 1980. We were told that The Grill has been operational for 40 years and is the best performing restaurant within Marriott's portfolio and the only remaining Grill. Our server who was outstanding had been here for 29 years. He explained to a T the specials and was both professional and friendly what you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. We started by selecting our bottle of wine a reasonably priced Pride Cab that was not heavily marked up. The wine list was extensive with a wide range of wines priced many priced reasonably and providing good value all the way up to top end Screaming Eagle. We elected to start with a great Caesar salad and followed up with two bone-in steaks, one being the 22 oz. bone-in ribeye for $98 and a 22 oz. bone in filet mignon special at $142 that our server described as being 14 oz. of meat and boy was it huge! The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly and delicious and the filet was soft as butter and very very good. We had fantastic Cajun spiced steak fries and great broccolini. For dessert we finished up with two souffles that are personal sized, one being a chocolate souffle with chocolate sauce and in asking for sabayon - they advised that while they could not they would bring out creme anglaise. The cookies n cream souffle was even better and delectable! Service was off the chart polished, unrushed and absolutely great. All in all the experience was beyond 5 stars. A truly unique restaurant standing the test of time and without a doubt the best steakhouse and best restaurant that we have eaten at in the State of Florida. (And yes we have been to all the "supposed" greats in Miami and Bern's too). And quite frankly I would put this at the top of its class within the U.S.

It is sliced ribbon-thin and tempura dusted, fried to perfection with a sweet chili glaze. She described it perfectly. It was so delicious! Perfect portion for sharing. For my entree I ordered the 6 oz Wagyu Filet Migon for market price, which was $55. It comes with 2 sides and a sauce. For my sauce I ordered the garlic herb butter. For my sides I ordered the sweet potato mash and the herb and garlic fingerling potatoes. Wow!!!! This was absolutely incredible. I ordered my filet medium rare, and yes I wanted it that way. Cooked to my perfection! The garlic herb butter was perfect!!! The sweet potato mash and the fingerling potatoes were fantastic! Would definitely come back and recommend!!
