The mail service is great but DO NOT GO FOR LIVESCAN!!! Last year I had my live scan done, the lady entered in my information incorrectly. I had to wait almost a month to start my job due to that mess up!! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went again last week. Now my fingerprints could not be read! Again, I need to wait to resubmit it. Do not go here if it is time sensitive. The UPS store might be a better option and they are cheaper. read more

I absolutely dread going to the post office, but these girls are quick, courteous and thorough. I greatly appreciate the care they take with each package--- no matter if there's a line or the phone ringing. I feel as though every person feels like they have their full attention, even while the girls are juggling numerous things. I, personally, brought in a somewhat complicated shipment of emergency medical supplies for surgeons across the country that had to be unboxed, and reboxed and delivered to several addresses. The workers and the owner have the worst customer service. I don't own a mailbox here but I do use their other services like to mail out packages, letters, and fo passport pictures. They never acknowledge customers when you walk in. Although, they are hardly busy, I always have to wait for service. One time, no customers were around when I walked in, owner and 3 employees were in a huddle, looks like a team meeting with the owner or chitchatting, I stood by the cash register where it's about 2 ft. from where they were, I stood there for a good 2-3 minutes with no acknowledgment. And when they finally separated, the owner and 1 employee walked to the back of the store, one employee walked to the front and another approached me and asked, " have you been helped". I said "No". I did my business and left. I know the owner was there because before I left I asked who the owner of the establishment. She pointed to the back of the store responded, "The blonde." read more

I love this store. I'm from England and I wanted to send gifts to friends and family. I found some glasswear that was perfect, but was concerned that it might be damaged in transit. I took my Items into Mail and more while in Elk grove visiting a client and they took my glasswear, wrapped it so securely that I could have played Soccer with the boxes once they'd finished without the risk of damaging the contents. When you walk through the door, no one greets you. When you ask questions, no one knows the answer. The young ladies who work here seem sweet, but not at all knowledgeable on their products and services. The owner walks around looking dazed and confused. I'm not sure if she's high or just spacy. I do lean towards supporting small, locally owned businesses, but not in this case. If you live in Elk Grove, your needs will be handled much more promptly and professionally at the Kinko's just down the street. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF MAIL 'N MORE SINCE 1995, and I have had the most enjoyable of business experiences. OVER THE PAST 18 YEARS, I have experienced the best of customer service and willingness to help solve any problem or issue that I have had. My experience isn't a one-time or short term reflection, rather one that has withstood the test of time. Mary (the owner) and Ashley have been there for the entire 18 years, but even those that have been hired over time have shown the same commitment and dedication to customer service. I have multiple rental properties in addition to my own business. Rather than have my mail and rent checks come to my home, I utilize Mail 'N More as my office mailing address as well as to have tenants be able to drop off their rent checks. Over the past 18 years, I have had no issues. In fact, they have been very flexible with their procedures, especially when the renters have dropped off their rent checks. I did utilize for UPS, which is closer to my house to handle mailing jobs, however, I will not go back there because the attitude and customer service at other stores is no comparison to that of Mail 'N More. Worst customer service ever. Unfortunately they were having some computer problems and they couldn't provide me with a mailing cost when I arrived. I patiently waited for 40 minutes while they worked on the computer issues. Another gentleman walked into the store and needed to mail a package also. He arrived about 30 minutes after me. Once the computer was up and running, they helped the gentleman who arrived 30 minutes after me!!!!!! I was furious. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. Walked in to do a livescan fingerprint at 9:45am. Clerk told me not able to do scan until 11am??? Why ? This make no sense, computer scan of fingerprint. Very inconvenient . Even The DMV tries to improve customer service. If you think people don't get angry when time is wasted...wrong. Even if hours are posted on website, does not make sense. I have been going to this store for years. Often I gasp at the high prices of shipping but sometimes you just have no choice. I tried to mail a flat rate $12.54 and was told it would be $16 (and something)! I was told there was a "surcharge" on priority mail. Honestly I wouldn't even be that upset about it if they were honest and told you there was a surcharge but in the years Ive been coming here I was NEVER told about that. I always wondered why shipping was so expensive but they never EVER disclosed that they charged "surcharges" on top of what USPS charges, I feel really ripped off. Businesses can charge whatever fees they want but hey have an obligation to make sure customers know that they're being charged. I was talking to her on the phone and she cut me off and started talking over me then hung up on me. Mail N More took a passport photo of me. I asked if they knew all the regulations about taking them. They said yes. I took the photo back home and compared it to acceptable/not acceptable photos on the US State Department website, and found that the shadows on my face in the picture would probably make my photo unacceptable. I took the photos back and explained it to them. They said that they had no problem with other photos they had taken, and that THEY COULD NOT DO ANY BETTER. I told them they only needed to add in some light. They insisted that the photos they had taken would be no problem. So I proposed that if my passport photo wasn't accepted, they would have no problem taking a better one and paying any incidental fees? Nope. They didn't want the hassle. I told them I didn't want the hassle either, so just take another one now, but better. Nope. They refunded my money. Nice, but the attitude that they couldn't do any better was hard to believe. I have lived in Elk Grove almost my whole 22 years. I don't typically go to the post office much due to my generation of cell phones and laptops. When I do send mail, it's to my family out of state. I always go to Mail and More. It has been there as long as I could remember. There used to be a ton of different stores coming and going in the bel air shopping center but one of the many stores that stayed in business was the post office. Not only is this place conveniently located near my house, the service is exceptional! They are quick, kind, and competent!
