I ship packages regularly for my business and the UPS Store is always easy to deal with. I typically prepay for my labels through PirateShip since it's cheaper, more convenient, and easier to track my expenses. Parking is easy to find in the shopping center they're in. Their employees are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They offer Amazon returns, and self service check in kiosk so you can quickly drop off your packages without waiting in line. They also sell shipping supplies, can package your items, accept USPS items, print copies, fax items, and offer notary services. They're always great to deal with and I can't recommend them any more. read more

There are many stores in the area, however you do get the type of service you received from this one. Melvin ,Elise, and Aneisa are amazing employees. I always smile when I see one or all of them. Nice location, great customer service. Stopped by this location while I was in the area. Lots of parking and this UPS Store seems bigger than most that we've been to. Kinda nice that it doesn't feel so crammed inside. The employee (a Filipino gentleman) was helping a customer in front of me as well as answering a phone call. He was professional and courteous to both. I think I would have gotten a little rushed with customers as I saw the line growing, but he remained calm while working efficiently. When it was my turn, he greeted me and then when I was done, he gave me a huge smile, thanked me and gave me a receipt. My first time at this location. I came here to get a live scan. There are only two employees and there is a line out the store. I know times are tough so I was patient. However that all went out the door when they started helping out customers behind me in line and they kept holding me off to the side because "live scan takes longer". Live scan does not take a long time as I've had it done before. I give them the form to complete and they say they do not do "this type" of live scan form. I informed them that their location is listed on the California state attorney general's website as a vendor along with many other UPS locations in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area. I leave and go across the street to Mail and More. They also only had two employees working and I was assisted immediately and finished my live scan process in less time than I was waiting at UPS. Probably less than five minutes at Mail and More compared to my wait time of 10-15 minutes at UPS with no assistance at all. My sister has had a live scan done at a different UPS location with no problem at all. I needed to get some important documents notarized and the UPS store saved the day. Not only were they available over the weekend with a notary on staff but the service was awesome! This location had a steady flow of traffic from Amazon workers dropping off boxes to walk in customers wanting passports, packaging and all in between and was short staffed. I only witnessed one employee while there but this employee's work ethic was impressive to see, especially as he multitasked and handled the job. Ray M's serviced everyone in a professional and prompt manner! Ray is a model employee and he held it down by getting the job done without complaining or having a negative disposition. Not all UPS stores are the same. This one at the corner of Laguna Blvd and Franklin Blvd is genuinely a winner of customer service. The store is clean and easy to access, and there are super friendly employees working there. The store has most of the office machines available, so you can copy, print, fax, and more. I have been a box holder for many, many years at this location. The original owner was an Asian gentleman who knew my name and treated us like family. After that, it has slowly gone down hill. The final straw for me is the rudeness and dismissive nature of the workers. They are downright rude when I ask for my mail and seem put out that I would actually want my mail in a timely fashion. They are sorely understaffed at busy times and the wait has become intolerable. If they are doing a live scan or a notary, you might as well come back in an hour, you will be waiting either way!! Never assume that because YOU know that the prices are hanging on the wall doesn't mean a new customer is going to know that too or even know to look at the wall. This is the top UPS store we always go to primarily because of the friendly, efficient, consistent service we get on a regular basis. But today, SENECA exceeded even those expectations and truly went above and beyond! We had a package that they helped us to mail via UPS. I assumed my package arrived safely, however, recently when I saw my brother and asked him about the package, he said they never received it. We had the receipt with the tracking # and unfortunately, every time I tried to put in the tracking # in, it came back with an error. So today I went back to UPS to mail more packages and brought the receipt to Seneca who began to investigate where our package was. He called UPS and asked them to send the paperwork to open up an investigation since they said it was delivered. He got the proof of purchase on the items we sent and said he will follow-up after he receives the needed paperwork from UPS. Talk about above and beyond. The package may be permanently lost but the fact that Seneca was incredibly customer-oriented made the loss less. Seneca clearly knows his job well and was able to support multiple customers while being on hold with UPS to help me. If you want Nordstrom service, come to this UPS store! Beware: apparently they just raised their prices. Had to print a 2- page document, black & white. FedEx didn't open 'til noon on a Sunday, so I came to this UPS. Gave the desk attendant my flash drive, she had it printed in less than a minute. Then she tells me the total over $3! I asked her why it was so much, she said there was a $3 charge to utilize the computer to print, which is the only option as they have no self serve. I have conducted business at this location for several years and have appreciated the services available and the level of customer service that was provided. I visited this location on Sunday, September 22, 2024, for an Amazon return. When I entered the store, there appeared to be only one employee working and he was assisting another customer. I waited several minutes at the counter for the employee to conclude his business with the other customer. During this time, several other people entered the store and began forming a line at what appeared to be a self-packaging station. When I displayed my return code to the employee, he informed me that I would need to wait in the self-service line to package and process my return. I informed the employee that I didn't appreciate standing in line for several minutes, only to be informed that I would need to package and process the return myself. I also informed the employee that I would take my business to a more service-oriented UPS store for this and future business needs and Amazon returns. read more

I have visited this store for many years I do medical device sales and I have very heavy cases that I take in and out of their store and today I experienced horrible customer service they refused to accept my cases simply because I didn't have zip ties. This is never been a request in the last several years ,it is not something I commonly carry in my car. I asked if he simply could supply them this time he said no you'll have to take your cases somewhere else, each case weighs approximately 75lbs. Rather than accommodate me this one time and say in the future if you could please remember to provide zip ties for them I'll do it for you this one time he continued to shame me and ridiculed me that I didn't have any way to close the cases which are latched up , my corporate office ships them all over the country this way I have never been asked to zip tie them before. He then proceeded to load them back into my car for me which I now have to drive to another UPS location and unload them again. Rather than making me feel good as a customer. I will never visit this store again, it seems to be a common practice these days, the young generation Want to flex their muscles I can only imagine how they treat their parents I would no more ask my mother to reload her car with 75 pound cases just to prove a point of a zip ties. Sometimes being right in your conviction doesn't mean you're helping your customer or your customer base he felt right in his conviction as he was an army sergeant rather than an employee that would help somebody at a UPS store I was very disappointed and was informed that they are franchises and can do as they wish to their customers. He also informed me that because the other people that worked there never asked or did the proper thing that they were no longer working there I am proud that he has a 20 something-year-old worker that feels right in his convictions to do the right thing for his company while the same time jeopardizing their business not looking out for their customers and perhaps going out of his way one never knows what may have happened to a person during the day and during their journey and certainly sometimes zip ties aren't on the priority list. This store is closer to my house so I switch from fedex because of location. Well I will be going back to fedex or using a different UPS location. First of all it smells. Like really bad. I want to say it was cigarettes I was smelling. I came home with a headache. I could taste the smell it was so overwhelming. I'm not sure if they were smoking inside or had a smelly costumer before but it stinks. Second of all it's hot as hell. Like no air conditioner. Which just baked in whatever smell was going on. Third of all they nickel and dime you. Like charge for ever little thing. Fedex doesn't charge for printing or taping. It just seems petty. I'll be using another location till they fix their air and smell situation. read more

I came in and was helped for a sec and had to fill in a form but then someone else came in and was helped with passport photos which is fine since I was filling out a form but I finished my form before they even finished photos and she started to research other country requirements for the passport. I feel like she should have come back to me since I did arrive first and all I had to do was fill out a small part of a form and she's wasting MY time by researching on the internet. I asked if she was going to help him first and THEN help me and she said yes that she would finish helping him before she will get to me so I left. Bad customer service. I brought in an item in mid December from Amazon to be returned. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and nice. She stated that I didnt have to package the item, that they would just sent it back. It's been a month, they never returned it and Amazon says it's outside of the return window. Question is did they lose it, misplace it or just did someone in the store take the item as a Christmas gift? I will never know and honestly at this point since the return window is close it doesnt matter. What I do know, is that I will never, ever use this location again for anything. read more

This may very well be the biggest UPS Store that I've ever been to. This place offer boxes and packing supplies for sale, as well various mailbox solutions for rent. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. The young lady that helped me had my tracking receipt in my hands before I could put my box down (exaggeration for emphasis) Oh, and guess what?
