This restaurant is one of the OGs. My dad used to bring us here when we were kids and it's still going today for a reason. You can't go wrong with almost anything you order here. We got the Chinese food craving and got a bunch of food the only issue I have is that their Peking duck was roast duck with buns. When I called to ask if I had to order the Peking duck a day ahead (like any other Chinese restaurant) they said no, it would be ready in 30 minutes. It was still good though and the amount you would usually pay for roast duck. The lady at the counter was so nice to me, I don't understand the reviews about rudeness because I've always been nice to the workers, and they've always returned the warm welcome. Although it's a little less bustling than it used to be, I love this staple Mililani restaurant and will continue to get food here.

Maile's Maile's Maile's, LOL We love eating here no matter how our experience goes for that visit, we ALWAYS come back.. Today *sigh* We sat immediately, there were about 2 tables dining in, so not crowded, seems like we missed the lunch crowd, which is nice. We ordered and I *bleep* u not, our food came out less than 10 mins *crying* I dont like to make a fuss, so We started plating our food. We got the house noodles, bitter melon w/pork, crispy fried chicken, marinated pork (red sauce) and steam buns.. House noodles-was warm, not hot just microwave warm. Thats my favorite so I was excited to dig in. One bite of the broccoli and I was disappointed:((( The broccoli tasted old and stale, everything else in the noodles was fine. Marinated pork-not hot again, microwave warm :(( Steam buns-nice and hot and that took a minute to come out Bitter melon-my husbabe enjoyed it Crispy fried chicken-now this what made me say something. that chicken tasted old and literally just warmed in the microwave. I called our waitress over spoke quietly and asked for a fresh batch of crispy chicken. They apologized, took the chicken and came out literally 5 mins later with the same chicken we gave back :((((((((( they literally dipped it in the oil and brought it right back out. Now did I see them do that? No, I did not. But did I know it was the same chicken YES i did bc I took a picture of the pieces and what it looked like and there was NOOOO way our FRESH chicken would come out in 5 mins and that thing didnt even taste fresh *crying* it was soaked in oil and we just didnt eat it. But of course we will be back bc during dinner the food is always great and fresh

Me and my mom LOVE this place. We come here often. Only reason for the 4 stars is we rarely seen our server, waited very long for our food, and it definitely wasnt as busy as usual. I don't know if one of the girls was new though she looked nervous, and wiped our large serving spoon with a dirty rag before giving it to us but we didnt use it anyway, we didnt need it. The cashier brought our check and apologized though. We seriously love the food and will continue coming back. We both ordered the lunch plate with fried rice and shrimp Canton. Both dishes were fabulous as always.

I've seen my Yelp buddy - Gail U. check into this Chinese restaurant many times, and often wondered how the food was??? It seems that every time I come out to the Mililani Shopping Center, I some how always detour my plans for Maile Chinese Restaurant, to Mililani Restaurant for my all time favorite Shoyu Chicken plate! Lol! This time, when I went out to the Mililani Shopping Center I actually stuck with my plans, as I was taking my dad & his friends for a meal at Maile Chinese Restaurant. The Chinese Restaurant has a nice old skool feel, as the décor kinda reminds me of other mom & pop chop suey houses. The restaurant was spacious enough to seat a lot of folks, but it appears that Maile Chinese Restaurant is extremely popular with the "take-out" crowd. Upon getting seated and looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Canton Shrimp 2. Crispy Chicken with Ginger & Onion Sauce 3. String Bean with Spicy Minced Pork 4. Seafood & Vegetables on a sizzling platter 5. Steamed Rice 6. Chicken & Vegetable Soup What can I say about the grub??? Da grub was pretty good, especially the Canton Shrimp cuz I like frrrrrrried stuff! Lol! But all kiddin' aside, all the dishes were pretty tasty, and I can see why Maile Chinese restaurant has a very strong following. Service here was on point, as our waitress was very attentive & friendly. If I'm in the Mililani area, and just so happen to be Jonesing for Chinese food, may I suggest you check out Maile Chinese Restaurant at the Mililani Shopping Center!

Tried the minute chicken cake noodle, the house special cake noodle, walnut shrimp, and the pan-fried pork--all were super tasty! The flavors were spot on, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was friendly, and I really enjoyed the hot tea they served alongside the meal. I honestly didn't realize we had such a great authentic Chinese restaurant right here in Mililani. What a nice surprise! Definitely planning to come back and try more dishes. Photos are after we dug in. LOL

So they don't speak English very well when you call in and put in your order who knows what you're gonna end up with I order from them all the time, but this last time was like what the fuck! Seriously I ordered the Chinese dish that I always order for the new year. It's called Jay. It's like a soupy vegetable thing. I ordered two orders of honey walnut shrimp. And shrimp egg foo yung! I'm tripping. I totally got ripped off. It was $75. I think they doubled the shrimp double the egg for young I don't know but it sucks. I hate eating out. I'm just letting you guys know. I mean the food is good. I wanted to feed my family, but eating out sometimes is scary . No way I just ordered minimum and that it was $75. I paid. It came home to my family tripped out on it. They don't give you a receipt. I think it's better if you go inside and order and look at the menu and figure it out but don't call over the phone. They are tasty. They're good but just a heads up don't order over the phone go in there. look at the menu look at the price. This is January 2, 2026 but $75 for egg foo yung want shrimp and a container of jai!(! WTH I order from them all the time, but they're getting more expensive. I am totally tripping out on what I ordered and the price I love them. They're tasty but they don't give you a receipt so you guys gotta double check your order

Good food and quick service. Cake noodle, eggplant, beef, and shrimp was enough for 4 people. The cake noodle wasn't overly soggy from the sauce. The honey walnuts shrimp came out perfect and the walnuts were warm and crunchy, much better than when we take-away. Recommend for big group.

One of my favorite dishes to get whenever I return home is cake noodle with chicken since they don't have it on the mainland. When I dined in with my family, it was rather empty so service was smooth. There usually is adequate parking in the shopping plaza. Great place to get my cake noodle fix!

Our go-to Chinese restaurant in Mililani. Friendly servers, the ambiance is mellow (can get very busy), and great tasting food. Today was beef broccoli, beef chow fun with black bean gravy, roast pork and rice. Yummy for the tummy

Their dine has been back open for a while now, but sad to still see it pretty empty every time I walk in. It seems like most people do take out. I usually don't ever call in my order, I always walk in and order for take out. My usually go to order is the Singapore chow mei funn (curry rice noodles). Totally forgot to take a photo of my food - sad! :( but it's one of my favorite Chinese dishes! :) The ladies who work in the front are soft spoken, but they are very nice and friendly.

I've seen a few of my Yelp buddies check into this Chinese restaurant called - Grand Chinese Restaurant so I decided to take them to this place to give it a try. What can I say about this joint? It's your typical old skool Chinese restaurant, which provides ono Chinese comfort food, great service, & a spacious environment to have a meal with family and friends. The only downside about coming here was that their air conditioner tripped the electrical power here, so it was rather hot/warm inside of the restaurant. We ordered an array of dishes (see pics), and the food was enjoyable. Some of the standout dishes were the Steamed Fish, and the very meaty Roast Duck. Located at the Pearl City Shopping Center, you can find Grand Chinese Restaurant tucked away just next door from American Savings Bank area. Prices here were very reasonable, food portions were more than generous, and the staff provided friendly fast service! Easy 5 stars, but I had to minus a star due to the hot/warm dining area due to the a/c not working. Lol!

4 stars for Mililani Restaurant!…read more The food was cooked really well, but everything needed salt, so the flavors never got to shine the way they could have. Which is honestly a bummer because if they had seasoned Bill's Fish & Chips... dude... it would've easily been the best we've ever had! The other day, my family stopped by Mililani Restaurant after my son recommend the fish & chips. Since I'm a sucker for variety - and I hadn't eaten here in about 20 years - I also ordered the Mini Fried Saimin and Mini Korean Chicken. I love seeing each restaurant's take on these local favorites. Bill's Fish & Chips: WOW. The full order is HUGE! You get three giant pieces of cod over a mountain of shoestring fries. The fish was cooked beautifully - super crispy on the outside while staying moist and flaky inside. But oh Lord... it needed salt! The fries had a great crisp too, although they did have that darker, old-oil flavor that was a little hard to ignore. Since I'm a foodie who likes to come prepared, I happened to have lemon wedges with me lol!... and man, did that take the fish to another level. Hey, don't judge! (I'm pretty sure my family was embarrassed... but ask me if I care. Hahaha! Jk... kinda.) We all agreed that if they had simply salted the fish right out of the fryer, this would've easily been a 5 star dish. Mini Fried Saimin: Can we talk about that portion size for a mini?! Super generous! Unfortunately, this one also needed more seasoning, and the oil flavor came thru more than the other ingredients. I know it's fried, so some oil flavor is expected, but it kinda overpowered everything else. A little more shoyu would've gone a long way. Since fried saimin is usually one of my favorite things to order (local girl at heart!), I'd give this one about 3 stars. Mini Korean Chicken: The sauce was delicious and reminded me of Sugoi's Garlic Chicken. The only downside was that the chicken itself wasn't hot. It tasted like it may have been cooked earlier and then portioned out for my plate. The service was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and they packed everything securely. Our order was accurate, and the prices felt fair for the amount of food you get. They definitely have a great variety for a neighborhood plate lunch spot. Would we make the drive all the way from Ewa Beach just for this? Probably not. But if we're already in the area, we'd absolutely stop by again. One last heads up... if you're planning to dine in, be prepared to leave smelling like the fryer. The ventilation could definitely use some help.. we all went straight to the shower when we got home!

This is the kind of place that welcomes everyone--families, longtime locals, and hungry walk‑ins alike--with consistently good food and fast, friendly service. One of my go‑to dishes is the Honey Walnut Shrimp--perfectly crisp, lightly sweet, and always satisfying. The Soft Gau Gee Noodles with gravy are another must‑try: comforting, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a classic local-style Chinese meal. While enjoying my food, I noticed a steady flow of take‑out orders--both walk‑ins and phone orders--which says a lot about how much the community relies on Jade. They handle the rush with ease, keeping things moving without sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a place to pick up your Chinese New Year meal, Jade is an excellent choice. They've been part of the celebration for years, and their dishes bring that festive, traditional flavor we all look forward to. Kung Hee Fat Choi!
