Absolutely disgusting. Worst Chinese food I have ever "tried" to eat. Just plain nasty. They should be ashamed of themselves.......

I frequent this place from time to time and cannot recommend a better ALL-U-CAN-EAT in Thurston or Pierce counties for your hard earned dollar. *Local casinos are 2-3x the cost* Drinks come quickly and the crab tray get's updated quickly during peak hours. They started offering sushi a few years ago which is comparable to the supermarket sushi in the area. When the need arises and you feel like throwing down 2+ lbs in food this is an eater's paradise. read more

Paid almost $60 for two adults and one senior with only one soda and two waters. We hated it there. Everything had a blah taste. Or no taste at all. Deffinetly the worst Chinese buffet I've ever been too. Hardly any crab and they give only one crab cracker per table! Crab seriously had no taste. Napkins were cheap and tore apart as you used them. No wet wipes for the crab. Poor chow main. I have no clue what they call teriyaki chicken but what I had was not teriyaki. I doubt it was even chicken. Everything about this place seemed so cheap for such a high price. We didn't even eat much due do trying such nasty things. I send everyone that I talk with about restaurants to Mains. I have had lunch about 6 times and dinner another half dozen. A dozen visits and never had a negative experience. After my 2nd plate full of excellent sushi, I might try some of the many selections they also have. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. The menu never seems to change much and yes a lot of times getting Hot portions is a treat ! The variety is nice if you enjoy cold food ... sushi / salad or desert ! A few years ago I ate here often. It was great. I moved away for 5 years and just came back this week. I decided to go to Main Chinese with my teenaged son. I dont know what happened but the food was NOT the same as a few years ago. It was awful. Bland, the chicken was tough and rubbery. We arrived 10 minutes after they opened. The rice in the steamer was hard, like it was cooked the day before and left to sit. The teryaki skewers...more like barbeque were ok...as was the panko breaded fish. The banana vanilla wafer pudding dessert was yummy. The chocolate fountain however....i dont know what the was in the fountain but it wasnt chocolate. Plastic chocolate maybe. I wont be back. Came here with friends for the sushi and sashimi. It was quite good compared to other sushi buffet or revolving sushi joints I've been to. I can't comment on the price because my hosts treated me. I definitely want to go again. read more

Literally almost died from this place. I used to eat here often and loved it. I started noticing the overall quality of the place going down... including the way it smells in there... I got chemical poisoning from the rice. I don't know which rice.. I ate sushi and fried rice. My husband had to call 911 because I was going downhill so fast. At the hospital they said I was lucky to have come to them because of how bad off I was. I notified the health department and the agent I talked to said this has happened a lot lately from the rice in particular because they reuse rice over and over and improperly cool it and heat it up causing the bacteria that in turn chemically poisons you. The health department has a case on them and wants to know if you too have been made sick from them! read more

Ugh...not much good to say about this place...the best thing there is the Crab Ragoons...and fresh fruit, which tells you a lot about the rest of the food...I LOVE crab and i go to a chinese buffet for the crab...granted there was plenty of it, but it was neither cold or hot but luke warm, room temperture and it did not taste good. I LOVE crab and they didn't cook this in any seasoned water or anything and didn't taste fresh...and then my son, who ate a variety of things, ended up with food poisening right after dinner while we were watching a movie at the adjacent theater!! :( :( SOOO not cool to get sick in the middle of a movie! This wasn't our first choice to celebrate memorial day but we chose it because our first choice was closed for the holiday. We went in expecting the normal buffet selections at a higher than average price ($15.99) and were met with just that. A shared plate in and we started to get sick to our stomachs. The sushi was a bad choice, it looked okay but I shouldn't have trusted it. I am afraid that my stomach ache will only get worse from here. Our waitress was kind and very sweet but the man at the counter seemed very upset to be there, maybe he was just having a bad day. All in all everything tasted fine, but the food made us sick and the man at the counter was irritable and impatient with us. I'm sure we won't be back. read more

This is one of the best Asian Buffets around. The choices are plentiful. The sushi is good, wish they still had the fried sushi, but there are plenty of other choices. Their is all the regular choices, like General Tsaos, Mongolian Beef, but there also is Salmon, crab legs, tempura battered shrimp, thick meaty ribs, and I love the fresh vegetables, especially the green beans and mushrooms. This place gets packed, and you never leave hungry. I never have room for more then a bite of desert. The hot and sour soup is authentic...loaded with good stuff. We live 30 miles, but eat here at least once a week. read more

I HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THIS PLACE, its one of the best buffet places I quite enjoy in this State. And believe me, its VERY hard to find an overall good buffet place. There's plenty of seating and the whole facility is well-kept and clean. Even the food area is very much clean and stocked with fresh food to choose from. They have a very extensive variety, from Chinese food to Seafood, to Pizza! And of course, they have a Sushi Bar. I must say that every time my husband and I come here, its never crowded or loud so its been perfect. read more

This place is my absolute go to. Love the owners & especially the staff. They make you feel so welcomed from the first "hello" upon entrance by the hosts, to the "see you later" by the astounding servers! Absolutely love love love the fact that the food is almost always hot and fresh. Love how proactive the servers are, always making sure your used dishes are cleared, and your drink stays filled. I also love the above and beyond moments their servers create upon every experience. I love that when they greet my party and I, Using our names, meaning they make it an effort to have that golden moment with their customers. I know a lot of people complain about the lack of varieties they have, but the freshness & the awesome service makes up for it. My favorite is the cheesy pizza, the shrimp scampi & of course the sushi bar. So delicious & so fresh. Keep up the good work read more

I normally do not give a review for a Chinese Buffet but this one is pretty decent. I have been to a number of them because well they are cheap and it is after all 'All You Can Eat'. We have been here at least five times so far. It is a very clean place and the food is fresh. There is a large selection of items to choose from and they do rotate menu items. The service is friendly and efficient. Plates are cleared right away and drinks refilled as needed. I am a big sushi fan and I am pleased to say they have some decent sushi and a large variety of it too. Stay away from the Kimchee Octopus though. I am addicted to the Sakura rolls which are stuffed with a cream cheese crab mixture and they have this awesome tangy/spicy sauce that is great on the rolls. I also love the fact they have black olives which is a weakness of mine so I always get a big bowl of them. All in all if you want a decent Chinese buffet then check them out. read more

After attempting to dine there today and realizing they doubled the lunch price because of Veterans day I will no longer visit this restaurant. I understand that more people go out on this day for food but you don't up your prices. That was ridiculous. We ended up going to Applebees where we gladly waited a half an hour for AMAZING service where their prices were the same AND they gave veterans FREE meals. That is the right way to treat a holiday and the people who fight for our freedom. read more

I only come here for crab legs when I am craving a huge amount of seafood. The price is about 16.99 per adult in weekends so I guess it's decent for a small ass selection of food, the dessert bar is way too big and a lot of to select from compare to the sushi bar. Wishing they had fried chicken wings :( read more

The sushi alone makes this buffet worth every penny and more. Lunch is a great deal and although dinner doesn't offer much more, it's still worth the price. The food is all freshly prepared and nicely laid out (they could stand to label the sushi rolls though). Some of the hot dishes I enjoy are the short ribs, Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken. My husband & I went here a few months back & for starters the food was cold & disgusting. There was not one thing either of us liked. All the workers just stared at their phones, & didn't clean any tables or anything. Then we find out today that one of our friends went there & they charge people differently! We paid 45$ for the two of us & our friends paid 28$ for two of them! I'd ask around first before going here, or at least figuring out what day is best. read more

This exceptional buffet is an oasis in an otherwise gloomy part of Washington. There's nothing particularly special about this dingy town, but during the week that I spent driving around the Washington area I continually ended up staying in Lacey. Lacey has a nice small-town atmosphere while retaining the dirty and sketchy feel of SeaTac. Back to the buffet - their sushi is amazing. It's mid-end sushi restaurant quality....at a Chinese buffet. And they don't scrimp on servings - I was able to scope up like 40 pieces of salmon nigiri on a single run. They even had sashimi. Yes, sashimi at a Chinese buffet. I ate back the cost of my meal just in sashimi. Their other offerings were fine - I had plenty of their baked salmon. None of the cooked options stood out, but I was able to fill up on sushi, anyway. I came in on a Saturday for lunch, expecting to pay lunch prices. However, it turns out that they charge $16 all day on weekends. While $16 is not the amazing value that their $10 lunch probably is, it's still a great deal for a buffet of this quality. read more

Been going here for three years and watched the price climb to the point that it is longer a good deal. Unidentifiable sushi, and Chinese dishes that all taste the same. Main Chinese is phoning it in so to speak and I suspect other diners feel the same. Was in for lunch the other day and there weren't many customers. Or maybe it's because diners got tired of being followed to cash register to see if they get a tip. How much of a tip should a so-called waiter get whose only duty is to pick up empty plates? This was my first time eating here and will most likely be my last. For a Chinese buffet, there really didn't seem to be a big choice. And the food wasn't that good. They left lids on fried foods making them soggy from condensation so they had a doughy quality, the salad bar was laughable, and the nastiest thing I noticed was the ice cream freezer. Great place now that ownership changed (awhile ago). Love the new sushi bar!! So many options. It always looks fresh, clean, and they do take the extra time for presentation. Great pricing of $13.99 during the week (per person) and $14.99 on weekends. They have expanded their dessert bar with a chocolate fondue fountain, which is great for families with kids. read more
