The booth that I sat in

This was my first time eating at this place and to be honest. It will be my last. The selection of food was plentiful but mediocre and the sushi tasted store-bought. The chicken had a metal taste to it. Not appetizing at all. The cheese wontons were very chewy and rubbery. The only things good about it was the veggie noodles and the steamed buns. The soda was meh on top of having to wait a extended period of time for a refill. And then we get to the dessert. They have a chocolate fountain which is rare nowadays because of the previous pandemic. But, that was the worst chocolate fountain I ever experienced. It made Hershey chocolate sauce seem like gourmet food. And the ice cream tasted cheap as well. And finally the booth that we sat at had duct tape on it to cover a rip and a chipped table. It's certainly not my "main" buffet that I would spend money at

One of the better with good sushi but not worth nearly $20 for lunch. It was clean and well stocked when I arrived at 11:55 and I stayed until around 12:45. I managed to put together two good plates and left stuffed. [Review 20920 overall - 125 in Washington - 1904 of 2023.]

We are from Hawaii and celebrated our daughter's graduation from Saint Martins University, scheduling for possibly 30 guest was no problem with the management. This place was able to accommodate our party. The selection and freshness of the food was awesome!! The flavor variety of the different foods always kept your pallet enjoying food (sorry I'm one that don't prefer seafood boils because everything taste the same), while we were there some selections were changed up, which offered "more" choices. For a buffet this place serves up food like a restaurant, nothing sitting and drying out in the warmer. The place is kept very clean, including the buffet. The staff is attentive, fills drinks and pulls used dishes from the tables. For our party of 21 they did add on a 10% tip, and since we enjoyed it we added another $50 tip. Everyone at the party enjoyed the food selections and qualities, and definitely appreciated it, thank you Main Chinese Buffet for your food and service!!!

Came for a Saturday dinner and found the prices reasonable, with weekend rates at $21.99 and weekday rates at $17.99 for adults (same price all day). While the food was generally decent, the sushi and sashimi left a bit to be desired. However, for those who are looking to maximize value, there are seafood options available, including big shrimp, clams, and crawfish. One aspect that disappointed me was the cleanliness. The restrooms were quite filthy, and I found sticky surfaces throughout the dining room. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and quite generous with the napkins, maybe even a little too generous, topping every table's napkins like there's a never-ending supply. You could build a napkin castle! What stood out the most during my visit was a dine-and-dash incident. While I didn't personally witness it, I overheard the staff discussing the details and reviewing security footage. The customers were a group of people who pulled off a pretty elaborate scheme, and the saddest part out of all of this is when I heard that the staff had to bear the financial burden of the incident.

Good selection. Place was busy, but at a buffet, that is preferred. It ensures the food is fresh! Food was good!

Before I go I skip some meals and when I leave I hurt! Yummy food with no real complains other than can't get Sashimi for lunch!

Not horrible but not great. Typical buffet with lots of selections. The sushi seemed fresh and tasty. Other foods were good also.

Really good vegetarian options! The hotpot veggie broth is deeply flavorful, so the tofu, taro,…read moremushrooms, broccoli, pumpkin were great. The kimchi was tangy and not spicy. It grilled perfectly. I am not sure if the kimchi was vegetarian or not, I eat fish so I didn't check. My kids got the hot beef broth and liked it. There are many noodle options, including ramen, which the kids liked. They also enjoyed the brisket. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and checked on us a few times. How it works: Select your tier ($35/$45/$55). The whole table needs to be on the same tier. Pick two broths. Select five meat/seafood/tofu/noodle options to start. Go to the self serve area and get your veggies. Go to the self serve sauce bar and make up your dipping sauce. Cook your food. Value: three people, with soda/tea was $135 and I tipped $15. We got the first tier only. Hot food like egg rolls and pot stickers are extra and we didn't get any. Soft serve ice cream and cookies are included at no extra charge. I appreciate the pricing model but I found it expensive. This is more than we spend on sushi.

Was excited that another Hotspot spot opened up down south and it also had kbbq. I know a lot of…read morethe reviews reference that its $48 a person, which I agree is kinda steep since you have to pay for drinks like a can of soda separately for an extra $3. And if you want something a little fancier, they do have mocktails at $8. I spent $185 including tip and taxes for 3 people. The set up is nice as you can grill and have soup on the next grill. They do have a few booths and then some tables. But if youre a larger party, you might get split up if they're busy. I'd recommend reservations if you have a large party. But getting to the food. For the Hotspot portion, you can pick 2 broths and its set up in a yingyang formatted pot. Then you go to the "buffet line" to get your veggies, meats and etc. They do have some hot foods like chicken wings and some type of fried roll. Hotspot was just okay. I was hoping for more flavor. The kbbq was just okay too. But one thing to keep in mind, this spot does not have the exhaust pipes/hood like they do at kbbq to help with the air, so prepare to smell. Leave your fancy/dry cleaning clothes at home. When my friends and I went, it got pretty hot inside, and there was only a box fan. So being next to a grill and no A/C made it more hot and uncomfortable. Maybe its changed now hopefully. The staff was nice and service was decent. Oh, and they do have an ice cream machine, so that's what made this spot like a 3.5 out of 5.

Yummy food but oh so pricey! I ordered takeout through the…read morephone for my first visit because I was interested in the lunch specials that were offered. Unfortunately, I was looking at an outdated menu on Yelp, so the spicy tofu soup is no longer on the lunch specials, AND if you want a "lunch special," it needs to be specified when placing the order. I assumed that because it was lunch time, I would be paying the lunch pricing? That wasn't the case when I arrived. Parking seems to only be on the same side as the barber shop (which i think is connected to the restaurant as well?). When I walked in, I didn't really check out the place. Seems like a classic no-frills Korean restaurant. An ajumma (아줌마) appeared at the register after a couple seconds (lol that is the first description that came to mind). I informed her of my phone order and she brought out the food and rang me up for around $55? I was thinking, yikes, that's a steep price for a spicy tofu soup and a lunch special of the galbi and mentioned it to her. She told me that the portion made is not the lunch special and next time, make sure to specify that over the phone if I want the Lunch special or dinner portion. She clarified, while acting out the mannerisms, of customers that would complain about the Lunch special, because they would want a dinner portion instead, so she just places general orders as the dinner portion. (I can already imagine the Karens she must have received for her reaction, which is understandable, but at the time, I was just slightly irritated since I was hoping to pay a cheaper price.) I am assuming after this experience, there is a difference in portion size for the lunch and dinner pricing.. Besides the miscommunication, I can at least say that the food was prepared quickly since it was ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant (about 15 mins after I placed the order?). With the outcast weather, I was craving some soondubu, and Seoul Garden definitely delivered! The tofu portions were generous and the broth was the right amount of spicy where you can taste the flavor but it is not overwhelming. I was not expecting so many complementary sides either! They paired very well with the rice and galbi, which was thoroughly marinated in a delectable glaze. Even though I was initially frustrated that I received the dinner portion, I calmed down after eating the galbi. My son and I actually ended up devouring it.. the food was so good, I totally forgot about the pricing at the moment. Just keep in mind though, this place is not advertised as KBBQ, so you're paying for individual plates/dishes/orders that should already be cooked. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are certain staples you really enjoy (i.e. you're only craving bulgogi but don't want to go out to eat or grill it), because it is arguably just as expensive as KBBQ. But if you're a foodie that can afford it, I'd suggest stopping by to try it out yourself! :)
