By far the worst buffet I have ever been too. I'm not sure if the positive reviews were written by people that have never eaten at a good buffet or has ever eaten good food lol but i would never recommend this place to anyone! Oh gosh I almost spat out everything I ate. There was literally two tables of hot food to choose from. I have been to buffets with literally 8-10 tables of food to choose from. Discovered this place a month ago, client's took me here and I was pleasantly surprised. I am not into buffets but this one has definitely got my attention as well as palette. Enormous supply of fresh tasty food, from Sushi to soups, from salads to seafood and many types of chicken, pork and beef. This is my favorite asian buffet in this area. The food is good considering it's buffet food (which is always going to be a less tasty than normal restaurant food), but for the price, it's not bad! Especially since seafood is expensive. I love how they have a nice sushi bar where you can grab as many as you like (obviously). Sometimes I'll bite into something completely nasty (& spit it out..shh) but like I said, over all it's great and I love the crab legs at dinner time. Ugh... Start with the good. Chocolate fondue.. That's it. Food was nasty. The two ribs I got where cold, ando mean refrigerator cold with spots that where warm. Sushi? Yuck. Very fishy smelly and bad taste. I love my sushi as do the other folks at our table. We all thought it was nasty. We where seated under the vents and it was freezing and staff said sorry nothing we can do. Everyone in that area was complaining how cold it was. My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times. Their sushi is to die for! I love that they have crawfish, crab legs, and shrimp. Their food is spectacular as well as the extremely friendly staff. The only downside I found was I felt like the dishes aren't as clean as they should be. I went up to the buffet a couple of times to find food particles on the "newly washed plates" which was a turn off for me. But other than that, it's worth the extra money to eat here! read more

Okay so I'm definitely not a buffet for first choice type of gal, but when my kids are starving and waiting is really not an option a buffet is a pretty solid choice with kids in mind. With that being said I really don't ever feel that a buffet is anything over a 3 star review because of the fact that it is a buffet, with a few exceptions. This place really surprised me though when it came to selection and taste. I was a little iffy about the sushi buuuuttt I went ahead and tried it anyway and I got to say it wasn't half bad. I had tuna and salmon sushi which was actually super fresh tasting not fishy at all and really good, that alone was pretty cool. Yummy Inari and shrimp sushi too. The rolls i had were actually yummy and fresh tasting also. I got a little to confident and decided to try some of the sashimi, not a great decision. Most of the fish had a very strong oil on them that kinda drowned out the flavor and there was no ponzu, which I feel would of helped immensely in the flavor. Some of the fish had clearly sat too long as you could see a little hardening around the edges. And I made the other mistake of trying the tempura battered rolls that had sat too long, were mushy and cold. So the fish sushi was delicious and alone worth it along with the rolls but it was a big no for all the sashimi and tempura rolls. The other food wasn't bad at all either, they had a good selection of kid friendly food which mine loved and the typical asian buffet offerings. Jalapeño shrimp was so good, yummy dumplings and such. I loved my hot and sour soup. Missing 2 stars because there were obvious things that were not great and the price was pretty steep, but if you navigate properly and use good judgement you will have a good experience. Once again as far a buffets go the food is good! Next time we are in Olympia and in a rush to get kids fed I would most definitely come here again. read more

This was My Husbands & I first time to this Buffet , After all the bad reviews I read I feel like they deserve some credit ! We walked in & Got seated Literally right after, There was no wait . For two adults plus drinks Was $40.67 I'd say that's a pretty good price. So to Start off Our server was Good , They take plates as They get empty . They have A LOT of Choices when it comes to the Food, Such as Crab,Clams, Crawfish, Baked Scallop, Bbq Ribs,Pizza,Shrimp tempura,Chow mein,Fried rice,Fruit & Dessert Plus A HUGE Sushi selection , There was raw and cooked ! I tried a lot of them . I noticed that as soon as Something ran out They filled it up no more than 5 Minutes later . We never had to wait for A food item to be refilled. I Loved the Food selection, My husband & i liked the Bbq ribs, The Snow crab, bakes scallop, Crawfish,Sushi,Sesame Balls! We basically Loved almost everything ! This place has great food. I normally come here with my boyfriend when we want to go see a movie. I LOVE the seafood! Everything is great, but I'm staring to think we should take our business elsewhere. One of the waitresses makes me really uncomfortable, because of the fact when we were done eating and we get our change back, she just stares at us, waiting for the tip. I tip, but only when the service is really good. Now her? I don't want to, purely because I feel like I'm being forced because she won't walk away, and stares at the money till I give it to her. This has happened multiple times now, and I'm just staring to think we shouldn't go back, because I'm really tired of being forced to tip someone who rudely stares at me and the money. It makes me feel REALLY uncomfortable. The other workers seem to stare at me as I walk by, almost as if they're judging me for eating the food they prepared (so confusing)? I also wish they had more of a selection for the food and desserts. I'll probably still go back, but not with high expectations. Oh, and $74.02 for 4 people is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Glad the other couple we were with this time split the bill with us, so instead it was $37.01. Well went to this buffet with low expectaions and they lived up them. Arrived just before the doors opened at 11am in the expectation of fresh hot food in the serving area. I am slightly disabled an use a walker. The hostess table suggestion was inappropriate and I was ungravious to sit at a table where my walking was out of the trafic pattern. The lunch offerings are not that abundant or exciting. Adequate & average. Sushi mostly imitation crab avacado and cream cheese. (That"s the lunch spread. Dinner is a factor of five better with real Sashimi and recognisable fish species on offer.) Then loaded my plate. The baked Soul , green beans, Califonia Role were good. The edd fo young looked like a muffin top. If only it tasted like one.. Not good. The shrimp scampy was about room temperature, inedible. This was about ten minites after the place opened the food should. be at its hotest freshest ready to go. When I informed my server she informed the manager. Who brought over a fresh from the cooker plate of shrimp. Then lectured about portion size. Informed him I would have eaten the portion I collected if it had been hot and left it at that. A thing you want to remember In Washington a server is paid minimum wage. The tip is still for service. This means in a buffet more than just carrying the empties away. Like refilling up a water glass. I'd say the food is filling but I won't go hack. read more

The best Chinese buffet around town. I always dine here during lunch time. I never had to wait for a table during lunch even though it is semi busy. It's about $10 per person during lunch. There are so many options to choose from and they constantly refill the trays! If you are a sushi lover then this place is so worth it. I enjoy chinese buffets on a regular basis for the all you can eat sushi mainly and I would have to say this is one of the best ones in the area. They have a large variety of sashimi which is always chilled and fresh as well as a good variety of traditional chinese hot dishes. So I finally checked out this joint after a couple of other places around the area. I love Chinese food just like everybody else but I expect more than just sweet and sour chicken or beef and broccoli when I am in the mood for good Chinese buffet. This place does have a variety of Chinese dishes which can be commonly found in any other Chinese buffet joints such as sushi, seafood medley, sauteed greens, coconut chicken, black pepper chicken, sauteed mushrooms, seafood stuffed mushrooms, egg drop soup, hot and spicy soup, wonton soup, etc... This is nothing more than you would expect from a regular, ordinary Chinese joint. To be honest, i think I should have gone blindly without reading so many good reviews about this place on yelp because I felt like my expectations were too high. Great selection of food and sushi. The place was very full and there was lot of food being brought out fresh. The food was decent as it was a buffet you don't go expecting high end quality but still delicious and fresh. Nothing looked like it had been sitting for a long time. Best thing is: It's all you can eat. Worst thing is: The food is horrible. The meat dishes are so over powered with veggies it's obvious they're trying to save money. A chicken dish had 90% celery one time and was hardly cooked. Crunchy celery in a warm gooey sauce is just nasty. The sushi, low quality. Don't believe there's any real fish in there. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with this place. It was pricey so I was expecting something good but food was horrible. My family came here last month cause we were craving some Chinese food and this was closest to where we lived and we've heard others say it was an okay restaurant. This is the kind of buffet that even the fresh fruit is questionable. I can't wash the smell of the place off me! It cost over $55 for my husband and I and our 12 year old child to eat there and we couldn't even finish a single item on our plates. This restaurant is not disability friendly. I had asked a waitress if my family could be seated closer to the bar as my Grandma who is seventy-nine can barely walk and my sister suffers from M.E. and she also has a hard time getting around. The waitress not only cut me off as I was trying to explain why my family and I need a closer seat , but she was very rude and told my family, "Fine, see if you can fit in that table! I highly doubt it!" She then stormed off towards her manger and yelled in Chinese gesturing to my family. My family and I tried to ignore her outburst as it was my moms birthday, but then the table we picked had food encrusted on it and was very grimy, and when we asked the bus boy if he didn't mind cleaning it he responded, "I don't think its dirty," but went ahead anyway and pulled out a dirty wet, smelly cloth and wiped down the table, scrubbing at the spots he said he didn't see and then left leaving it neither clean, nor dry. And then another waitress came. She asked what we wanted to drink and I asked if we could wait to order them when my Grandma came back from the bathroom. The second my Grandma came back and had not even sat down the waitress was standing there pushing us to order and started to list off the drinks. I tried to repeat back the options loudly to my Grandma, who is also hard of hearing, and the whole time I was doing that the waitress kept speaking over me repeating "What do you want?" I don't know why many people have given this place bad reviews - I have been going for several years, and I have never had any food make me sick. Admittedly, I do not eat the raw sushi, but I go there with people who do, and they have never gotten sick - including my mom, who has a very delicate stomach. The hot & sour soup is quite good, the coconut shrimp among the best I've eaten, and the lo mein very good for a buffet. They have great tofu dishes, as well! I don't go on the weekends, when they have "specials" such as lobster (i.e. higher prices) and the crab legs. The staff are always friendly, and bring me out my favorite sushi that isn't always on the buffet! I think that you will not be disappointed by going there. read more

Better chinese buffet in town. I was surprised to see on their web site today that the dinner buffet is now $14.99. It was $11.99 last time I came and it wasn't very long ago. The food is pretty good, but last time not very hot. Good variety, not overwhelming like others in the area, where you only like 5 or 6 items out of 100. They remodeled and it is very nice now with the sushi bar in the middle of the restaurant. You truly cannot beat it for the price. read more

Last time I'll ever come here. Took my boyfriend out for dinner. Once we got up for dessert my babe picked out chocolate cheese cake and he asked me if it looked funny. Found green mold on the side of it and it smelled like mold. We told the manager and she told us the cheese cake was fine and it looks moldy. Really? What kind of cheese cake looks moldy? We were diagusted and walked out unsatisfied. Would never recommend this place especially on an evening where its 15$ a plate. Not worth it. Check your cheese cake people! Haha read more
