Went here for my son's birthday 3/3/26. Party of 5 people. First thing we did was bowling... the party of people next to us immediately apologized for the spilled drink on the floor and that they have been waiting an hour for someone to clean it but the service is terrible and their chicken nuggets never even came. They left 5 minutes later. The tv on our lane didn't work. The pins kept fowling. We informed the worker that our lane wasn't working properly and we were eventually moved to the lane next to us, only for that lane to be broken too. When I informed another worker about it, I was told that all the lanes are broken and there's nothing they can really do. My husband and I were very upset about this because paying for 5 people to bowl, plus the obligatory $5 per person for shoes isn't cheap. A bowling alley should have working lanes, right?... Half of the arcade games were broken or just straight up took the credits off your card without letting you play the game. The restrooms were filthy and most of the stalls had no toilet paper. The whole time we were there they weren't cleaned 1 time. We were there about 4 hours. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I wanted my son's 10th birthday to be a fun one. For the amount of money we spent for bowling, games, and food, we expected a better experience. We won't be going back to this location. read more

Our last visit here (about a year ago) was honestly unsettling, and I've been hanging onto to this review for so long, I debated even posting it, but the owner and upper management should know. A couple in the lane next to us began fighting loudly, and the man was verbally berating the woman he was with. He kept storming off in anger, then coming back and continuing to escalate. It was uncomfortable to witness, and I felt terrible for their child, who looked frightened and confused. (They were crying) I mentioned the situation to a few staff members (who weren't far away and could hear them as well as they were rolling eyes at each other), but they only nodded when I stepped over to say something and didn't seem to take any action. The man's behavior was intimidating, and at one point, he was threatening her physically. No one intervened or appeared to check on her safety, which made the whole situation feel even more disturbing. We ended up leaving our lane early because it kept escalating and we were just trying to celebrate our son's birthday...and we moved to the arcade area to finish the night, but the experience stuck with me. I understand staff can't control how customers act, but it was alarming to see no effort made to de-escalate or assist. I genuinely hope that woman and her child are okay. As for the rest, the food has always been average, but that's expected for a bowling alley. We typically skip it since it's a bit overpriced and we'd rather not eat after handling shared equipment. The arcade and laser tag areas are fun and well-kept, and those are usually the highlights for us. We'll probably return at some point (maybe), but if I ever see something like that happen again, I won't hesitate to call the police myself. I've been avoiding the place since, just trying to move past what happened. It was a miserable experience that night, and I sincerely hope management takes safety and response more seriously in the future. I know the man was mad at his date, but we felt unsafe too. Restaurant has no waiters just one bartender who isn't interested in checking on tables or other patrons. Great family place. We went bowling and then spent time playing games. They have service right at your bowling lane. The food and drink menu are extensive from pizza and wings to salads and burgers. All of it was delicious. They have a great drink menu too. The place is well lit with just enough neon to make it fun not overwhelming and has good music with lots of energy. Wow it's been a while since I've been to main event. I loved my time here. For a 23$ fee you can have all you can play bowling!!! Such a good deal compared to other places where they charge 40$ for a lane and then it's the only thing you can play. The only complaint is they didn't disclose that the ropes course was closed bc it wasn't as busy. That's not fair to make guests pay the full price when one attraction is not available. And the bar tender was very rude- I was wanting a glass of water and was pretty much ignored until I called out. The staff at the bowling area were nice and especially the guy who worked at the escape room. He was awesome! I love the escape room option first ever I've ever been to at a main event. read more

Let me start off with the great part. The games are very fun. My wife and I took our kids bowling. They had a blast. You rent the lane for an hour so with kids we got one and a quarter games done. Older people you can probably play 2 games. The place is very clean. Bathrooms were impeccable. Now the not so good. It's expensive , very expensive. Renting shoes for 4 people, and an hour rental of the lane and taxes was 98 dollars. Service was horrible at the bowling lanes. They ignored calls from people. We waited so long my wife just went up to order our stuff and the staff went on a meeting and left the register for 15 min. What a joke. Food was ok. read more

Do not eat here. The food smells amazing, and the descriptions sound tasty. But, they managed to create some items the cheapest way possible, and with actually no taste. We got the children's chicken strips with fruit (came with 2 chicken tenders and orange slices); pepperoni pizza (personal size, definitely from a freezer); chicken and beef nachos (chips, cheese, small amount of protein, and oico de gallo. That's it!) Now the service didn't help. They sat us in a booth that was unseen by the servers so we had to go to the bar and request a waiter. This was a really fun birthday idea! No, not for my kiddo. For me, silly :) So I really wanted to go bowling which is why I started looking up places that offer bowling when I came across Main Event. I tried to book a lane online for Saturday (today), but it was blocked. We ended up coming around 9am and we're able to secure a lane for an hour!!!! It is kind of pricey, IMO, compared to Cowtown. It costed $36, that's for up to 6 people, plus about $5 for shoe rental per person. Then we wanted a gaming card, you get charged a small fee for the card btw. It came out to $87, but we made sure we had a lot of fun! I'd recommend coming back without the kids, as a date night and do the zip line together! It looks like alot of fun. read more

While I can accept and appreciate that it was Jan 1 when we came in and possibly understaffed, the problems we had became increasingly frustrating to the point we almost walked out. Our lane broke three times, one of our food entrees was forgotten, and we were served the flattest, most disgusting beer I have ever had the misfortune to experience, and I went to college in central Florida. When our lane kept breaking, they kept adding time to the point we had almost 2.5 hours for the price of one, but we weren't even having fun anymore. They also comped the gross drinks and the entree they forgot so that made things a bit better, but it was very frustrating how we were treated here for the price we paid until I started complaining. I have a small child and if she asks to return to this location Jesus will forgive me for continuously lying to her and saying it's closed to avoid it. read more

3.5 stars, there is so much to consider when reviewing a place like this so I'm going to break it down by each area. We went on a Saturday with just 3 kids to celebrate a birthday yet keep the party small. Go when it first opens if you want to avoid the crowds. We arrived at 10:30am and purchased the pass for bowling, laser tag and the ropes course. However, we were not told the ropes weren't going to be open until 4pm, it ended up being after 4:30 and bowling had a 2 + hour wait for a lane. So put yourself on the list immediately for bowling. Then once you get a lane you have an hour to bowl. The first lane we got wasn't working so you had to score by hand. We purchased gift cards for the games then discovered there is a food and game card special but you don't know this unless you look at a menu. We asked if we could return the cards and do the special, witch a manager did. They are short staffed like so many places so be prepared to wait should you order food. For lunch there was no waitress so we ordered through the bar. That worked fine. The bar tender was good and nice. Food. The kids all got pizza. I ordered a Cali chicken, the first time it came out it was a hamburger. I let the bar tender know, he came back and said I have to take it back. I waited quite a while for the next chicken sandwich to come out. It came out with all the stuff I asked not to be on it. I ordered plane with bbq sauce on the side. Finally I got the sandwich and it was actually good. The bun was a brioche style, toasted and the chicken breast was a nice size. The fries were cold as I think they just replaced the sandwich twice. Later I ordered pretzel dippers. After 35 minutes I asked one of two girls standing at the hostess stand if they could check on my order, they never did. (Not sure what they were doing because everyone just was seating themself) then I asked a guy in a blue shirt about my order, he went over to the bartender then came out and said they came out but they didn't know where they went so they sent them back but they were remaking them. 15 minutes later I asked another person. A few minutes later I finally got them. No apologies or comps of any kind were offered. The kids were able to do the ropes once and it was shut down again after it finally opened at 4:45. We like the concept and activities but it never seems to be all open, and that was even before the pandemic. There seems to be a lot of managers walking around but only helping when called for something specific. Over all the lack of communication about the delays of opening areas should be shared when selling a "unlimited pass" as it's not unlimited if areas aren't open or you only can get one ride or bowling in on the 6 hours you are there. read more

We have visited this location several times at is the closet to our home. There is very little to say about the experience as it is equivalent to any other game room type of entertainment. However this location stands out in the most disgraceful ways for any establishment. 1. They are staffed with very poorly trained and unprofessional staff. Lazy at best and obviously hate being there. 2. If you are coming for anything other than video gaming/pool playing or bowling....forget about it. 3. Whoever does the scheduling for the staff needs to monitor more closely who they place where. - There were 4 staff members standing in the ticket/prize room doing absolutely nothing because not even the shelves where stocked - two leaning on the counter watching the game on TV. - 4 more staff members standing having conversations at the bar for the entire duration of the 2hrs we were there. FOUR of the main attractions were closed and it was barely 9pm. 5. The ladies bathroom (rather best named, a place for animals to gather) was covered in toilet paper, feces on the bathroom stall walls and toilets filled with feces. Disturbing and incredibly unsanitary. We left to use the stalls at Winco and decided not to come back at all. Believe me when I say, your money is best spent elsewhere. A lot of the games are broken and have been that way for a long time. We had to get a refund on the basketball shooting games, the let's bounce game and the gun refuses to reload on the alien shooting game. It's not as much fun when half the games don't work and you have to ask for refunds. read more

My most recent experience was not good at all. Firstly, the wait at the bar was ridiculous. So many people running around doing nothing but only one poor woman making drinks and helping people. All I needed was pool balls which I'm used to getting at the bar at the city lake location. Only come to find out I could get them at the main desk which no one ever said so knowing we bought the all you can play pass. They need to order more pool sticks. When we went to play pool the shoes I was given were DISGUSTING. Torn up falling apart and barely any sole left. The guns and vests to wear for laser tag were so heavy and made us all sweat and I can't imagine they are sanitary. THEN when we went to play arcade games so many of them just took my money and didn't work or didn't even give any tickets. If they did it was a pathetic amount of many 20-30 tickets which if yall are going to have prizes that cost mostly between 300-500 yall are just being greedy. Especially TAKING money from people from machines that don't work. The game we wanted to play the most, air hockey, I swiped my card FOUR TIMES and never got a puck and when brought to their attention they did give me a refund for that but told me they're down to 3 pucks but have all 4 tables operating!!!! Like this is pretty much theft at this point. You guys need to stop hiring TEENAGERS and hire people that can actually fix the machines and focus on making sure people are having a good time not standing around gossiping and talking. My school district booked a field trip here. Our wrist bands included everything including ropes course and escape rooms. The escape rooms were closed and the employees refused to open them even tho we thoroughly explained that they came with our wrist band options. Our party booked a slot for the ropes coarse at 1not knowing that we were booked to pick up food at the same time. We did the best we could to get their in time and were only 2 minutes late. The guy working the coarse told us that it was too bad and to go away. The service was absolutely terrible. The ice machine was also empty the whole time and when we told them about it they didn't do anything about it. If you are looking for a relaxing family fun place I do not recommend this place. Cool new concept. Smaller foot print and this site appears to be a test site for new ideas. The bar had citron which elevated them IMO. I haven't tried their food here. Bathrooms are clean and plenty. It's super loud which I get but it's annoying wt some point and impossible to have a conversation. Love the laser tag. They had a zombie overlay with fog this time which was very cool! Don't bother trying to get on the same team as someone- it's random selection. The gravity ropes course is so cool however the process is terrible. It's a long wait and it's impossible to hear any instruction either as a group or solo before you go on. Example- we paid and signed up for a time slot. Tired to beat the group line by arriving early but stood in line for 20 minutes while no-one was on the course....so confused.... I thought it was like one person in for every one person out but when I saw the entire course empty for 5+ min I was quite confused. Cannot figure out why it is so inefficient, but my kiddo and I loved it- especially the zip line. We ended up finally getting onto the course after a grueling 34 minutes. The upside- You can go through it as many times as you can in a 10 minute time period assuming you can maneuver through more than once given the challenges and people. read more

We had gift cards and went last night. Some activities are fun but basically an overpriced casino for kids. Food and cocktails are terrible. Definitely eat BEFORE you go and stick to beer or wine. We would have, but trying to use gift cards. Had a margarita that was 95% mixer. Reminded me of the drinks you get in Utah (all alcohol greatly reduced). Nachos not appetizing. Bone-in wings were ok though. Bowling was fun, but quite pricey. The wait estimate was 1-hour and then when an hour passed they said it was actually more like 2-hours. For two adults it was $56. Expect to wait longer than an hour and no refunds. We won't be going back, as the cost of it was higher than the value of the experience. read more

I took the family here while we were in the area and paid for 1 hour of bowling. About half of that time was spent sitting around because the lane was broken. They did comp us some extra time but it was just really annoying. We ordered chicken strips and chips with dip. They literally only had two chicken strips on the tray about the size of my pointer finger and maybe 10 French fries! Also the handful of chips and little bit of dip was not worth the $10. My family and I had a very good time at Main Event. We went on a weekday (DEFINITELY SUGGEST THIS if you don't have kids) as the crowds are non existent and you can actually do whatever you went there to do. We bowled for 2 hours and had a blast. Our waiter was excellent - I drink diet coke like there is no tomorrow and he did a great job keeping the glass full. The bar tenders were friendly and the beers were HUGE.
