100/10 recommend this place! You literally feel like you're in a Vegas show, like literally IN the show! From the time the doors open until the last song, this place doesn't stop with the entertainment! For a place that highlights the show, the food was surprisingly very very good! Only my filet mignon I had to send back to be cooked more to a medium rare (warm red center) than medium when it had arrived. But they did not hesitate to make the correction and provide a steak that was both cooked and seasoned to perfection! So thank you to our server who was most gracious in my request. This place is a must go! You'll be in awe at how amazing the performances are and how much fun you have!

Wow!! one of the best experiences we have had. This place is soo amazing. It's such q vibe, truly/highly recommend it. Make reservations! We went on a Friday night, it was Full! I love that they can accommodate large groups, we were 9 guest and our table was right in front of the stage and we were seated comfortably (wasn't tight). We tried appetizers and drinks. We loved everything. The DJ was excellent too! A mus

I enjoyed every part of the experience! The food was sooo good! The drinks are just right and they keep the fun energy going all night. Dj was fun. Performances were so good! I really enjoyed my time.

Went to Mainro for dinner and drinks, and it was an amazing experience. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming -- perfect balance of energy, music, and space to actually chat with friends. The staff was friendly, fast, and really knew how to make the night feel special. The food was next level. Every dish had thoughtful flavors and textures, but the standout has to be the Crispy Bitsy. Seriously, it's insanely good -- perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside, with seasoning and sauce that hit just right. Easily the best thing on the menu. Drinks are on point, the service is smooth, and the overall energy makes it more than just a meal -- it's a full night out. Definitely coming back, and the Crispy Bitsy is an absolute must-order.

I came here for NYE yes I'm writing my review a little late. First of all shout out to David for outstanding customer service. This place is a dining experience not sure how i came to find it but i have to say I loved it. They had magicians they had shows dancers great music fabulous drinks. Its if you are thinking about going here just go food was amazing and the customer service from the staff was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly how i like it. I wish i remembered my server name because she was also amazing very attentive. Next time i go I will ask to be downstairs versus upstairs to better enjoy the show.

The food was incredible beautifully presented and full of flavor. The seafood in particular was super fresh, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. The cocktails were also a standout, both visually and taste-wise.

Absolutely amazing food, ambience, drinks. This has become a usual hangout from my wife and I.

The place is nicely designed. Almost every seat has some sort of view. The show itself was nothing special. A couple of ladies swirling around a round metal ring up in the ceiling. Okay, we saw that at Ringling Bros when we were 6. The main attraction was a lady singer. She was good, and very interactive with the customers. I am sure at one time in her career she was fantastic. The magic of her show was to take out the black wig and become a blond. There were a couple of dancers in bikinis that would dance up and down the aisle every so often. Somewhat entertaining. The best comparison is playing an 18 hole golf or a mini-golf. Main Ro was definitely a mini- golf on a rainy day. The trumpet player added a nice touch. The highlight was the DJ. She was fantastic. She belonged in Vegas. She would size up the attendees and would play songs accordingly. I loved her. The appetizers were delicious, but they should serve them with a magnifying glass. Food was good as well. I enjoyed my filet mignon. The drinks were BAD. I mean bad. You go to a place like this to drink. I had to pay around $44.00 for two shots of tequila just to make my drink reasonably good. I did complain and the following drinks were a bit better. Pricing is outrageous. I don't mind to pay high prices in that type of setting. But the food must be substantial enough that my next stop wouldn't be In & Out. It was my birthday and the had my name for a couple of minutes on the ceiling lights. Valet was $25 plus $5 tip. A bit high. Over all it is good to go there once and experience getting screwed. For three of us including a 22% service fee came out to be almost $600.00. That said the service fee was worth it as our waitress was super nice. I will give them a 4 star, only because they fill a gap.

I went here during the week on the earlier side. They weren't prepared for their earlier reservations and had us wait while they finished getting things together. Once seated, the service was good, as were the performances. The food was fine, nothing special but worth the try. They are a little overpriced, but it's a supper club with a lot of ppl to pay so understandable. It was a cool experience, but no big desire to return.

The show was interesting and entertaining as well! Our server Gayane was very attentive and friendly, always checking on us, and maintaining a clean table. If you are party of 6 and/or more, they offer a set menu with a different price range ($135, $175, $250 p/p). Since we were only party of 2 we had to order from a menu. Cheese platter, salmon carpaccio, vinaigrette salad, wague beef, & bronzino. A manager or the owner came to our table with a plate of lamb chops, as a token of appreciation, that was very sweet-thank you! Everything was delicious, however, if you really hungry the portions are small, it won't satisfy you. We had a big lunch earlier, so we felt great with it. Another great touch was, they have a photographer that goes around the whole evening, and takes pictures of the guests. Within few minutes you get an offer of purchasing your pic in a nice frame for $20 (a fare price in my opinion). Even though we didn't need all 3 pics of us, we still purchased them all in support of the photographer's business. In all, yes it's pricey, and adds up quickly, but absolutely worth it! We will be back. I highly recommend this restaurant for a birthday celebration, or even if you just want a special evening with your significant one.

My one regret was not bringing a stack of dollar bills. Definitely bring cash if you're coming for the drag brunch, tip the queens!! They did have their Venmo info up so I tipped through there but it just wasn't as fun as having cash out when they danced by. I ordered the skinny bitch margarita and the coconut shrimp. The margarita was solid, but I wouldn't recommend the coconut shrimp. It was soggy, greasy, and honestly not great. Thankfully, everything else about the experience more than made up for it. Some tips: - Bring cash to tip the drag performers - If you get a cocktail in the high-heel shoe cup, you can bring it to Mickys afterward for discounted refills which we did, and it was an absolute blast - they charged us $13.50 admission per person at the end Overall, such a fun experience. Would definitely go back (with cash next time).

Despite growing up and living in the LA area for 10 years more than El Cid has been in existence,…read moreand knowing exactly where it is located -- having driven past it dozens of times -- 2/7/26 was my first time here. My wife found a Groupon special and we celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary here. It was an excellent choice! It's a great date-night experience, but not inexpensive . . . the regular price is $85 per person, plus beverage cost (mixed drinks are $16-$19, beers are $9-$10), so things can add up pretty quickly. After navigating traffic to get here, we were blessed to find a parking space directly across the street on Sunset at exactly 5:45 pm, although this is about 1/4 mile in either direction to the nearest crosswalk. So we carefully crossed mid-block, thankful for a couple of drivers who stopped on the east-bound side to let us finish our trek. Entering the restaurant, you have to travel down several sets of steps, so this is not an easy place for those who are physically challenged. Additionally, the handrails are rather low (I'm 5'9") which is yet another challenge. Once downstairs, there is one step up to the dining area and, dimly lit, it's easy to forget it's there when you leave, and several folks stumbled on the way out (but none actually fell). The dining area is intimate . . . with seating for only about 100 persons, and all seats have a pretty good view of the stage where the flamenco performance takes place. Not a good idea to try your luck and hope there are seats available if you haven't made a reservation. (Note that making reservations can be a little tricky. It doesn't seem like anyone answers the phone live, but they do respond to voice messages and are very pleasant to speak with over the phone). Shortly after being seated, we were served a bowl of vegetable lentil soup which was hot and tasty. Not long after that, our arugala salads were served. The citrus vinaigrette dressing was excellent, although we both agreed that we were disappointed that wasn't more salad on the plate -- there were two slices of fresh orange and a snip of apple underneath the arugala. We both ordered the salmon entree, and it was delicious! A generous 6 ounce (skin on) portion that was hot and perfectly finished. It rested on a small portion of lentils and the plate was decorated with what appeared to be a couple tablespoons of a Green Goddess type of sauce. The paella for two looked good, but mussels just aren't one of my "things." Dessert choices were churros with chocolate sauce, flan, or chia seed pudding. My wife chose the flan, and I had the chia seed pudding. Both were great, not overly sweet, and just the right portions. The hour-long flamenc show started exactly at 7pm and we were captivated by the dancers, the guitarist, and vocalist. These were not "spring chickens" and their routines were physically demanding. It was a delightful experience, and we would recommend it to anyone. The Groupon savings was significant, so look for it before making reservations.

We ordered a half seafood and half meat paella, with added lobster and pork belly. Unfortunately, the actual food was terrible. Main issues: * The bottom of the seafood side was completely black and burnt instead of having a crispy socarrat. There's a huge difference between crispy rice and burnt rice. * The lobster was severely overcooked, burnt, and tasted terrible. * The pork belly was an extra charge, but there was barely any visible pork belly in the dish. It honestly just looked like tiny bacon pieces. * All of the meat throughout the paella was severely overcooked. Positives: * Our waiter was very nice. * The ambiance was good. * The live music added a fun vibe. * It was my birthday, so they gave me a complimentary ice cream dessert at the end, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, none of that made up for how bad the paella itself was.
